Parcel returned from Royal mail

Parcel returned from Royal mail. Post office staff did not know why although they had completed the CN22 and I signed it. The parcel came back after 7 weeks with a CN15(b) form on the returned parcel. After 15 minutes, they sent me off with a contact number that could not help. Poor service. Visit an alternative post office if you want your post to be delivered.

My local Postman is great BUT when it comes to parcels they do not come any where near the time that they are due such as 9:30 11:45. It it ALWAYS well into the afternoon. This makes it impossible to plan. I have commitments which I am willing to work around but NOT the WHOLE DAY. If you say you will deliver between these time THEN YOU SHOULD. On top of that it's the same guy - who's not too friendly - it's like you have disturbed him by having a parcel delivered.

Long Ashton Post Office, Bristol

Long Ashton Post Office is an incredible business. Always have anwers, always helpful, polite and they get the job done for you!

Possibly the worst delivery company in…

Possibly the worst delivery company in the UK. The regular guys are great who deliver your letters, however, when you have a parcel being delivered not letters, it never arrives on time, the time slots are too long as well, and when they stick a note via your door they don't tell you what neighbour they left it with and the item reference on the last two were incorrect. I have heard they use agencies workers to deliver parcels. They clearly need more training. Lastly trying to get hold of anyone to speak to is like trying to speak to Pope.

A Rolleston On Dove - Hidden Gem

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A hidden gem in the heart of Rolleston! I couldn’t be more impressed with the Rolleston on Dove Post Office. Tucked away on Burnside Road, it’s exactly what every village post office should be — friendly, efficient, and a real asset to the community. The staff are always welcoming and go above and beyond to help, whether it’s with parcels, posting, or general advice. Service is quick, smooth, and genuinely pleasant every time I visit. What really surprised me is the extensive range of items in the shop — from essentials to little extras you didn’t even realise you needed. It’s a one-stop spot for both postal services and local convenience. A big thank you to the team for making each visit a positive experience. Rolleston is lucky to have you!!

Basildon post office town center

Basildon post office town center (inside WH smith): After trying to send a parcel thru Evri, the manager offered me a post office card that I can use internationally. She then promoted that availing one is free. After putting my details on the system, she then told me that I need to put money on it in which minimum is £10. Since i got way too committed and havent seen it coming, I have agreed, but unfortunately, my Barclays credit card wont scan and work. I then told her that I just have to cancel it for now as my card isnt working. She then insisted for me to use a different card or come back from home insisting for me to pay it despite the fact that I would just rather have it cancelled for now as there was a long queue after me and I dont want to make a delay for everyone. She made a big fuss in front of everyone and has demanded for me to call someone who could pay for it. She then harassed and embarassed me in front of every customer saying that she needs my payment or else she will hold my parcel that I already processed until I pay for it. I had to leave and handed her my parcel and was in utter shock. I havent had the time to reflect on it and when i did, I had to come back right away and asked for her name and realized she is the manager. She twisted her words and insisted that she didnt say anything about holding my parcel despite the fact that every customer have heard it. She then told me she will send my parcel and will not insist anymore for any payment for the card that I declined to avail. I heard from my fellow co-workers that she has been doing the same for immigrants as she constantly harass people to avail something, posting as free then later on had to put a deposit on it. She is asian (indian) and it was utterly disappointing to receive that kind of service considering I am also asian. The rest of the staff are amazing except her. Given the questionable approach she has done, I could file a case under the Protection from Harassment Act of 1997 due to this behavior she has caused.

Rubbish customer service

As with many other reviewers, if 0* was an option, I would have chosen it! My wife opened a Post Office Fixed Rate ISA in April 2024. Towards the end of the fixed rate period, they sent her a message laying out her options. She decided to transfer it out and went through all the processes to sort it out. In May, her new provider sent a message saying Post Office had declined the transfer. SHE RECEIVED NOTHING AT ALL FROM THE POST OFFICE! She resolved the issue that had been causing the problem and applied for another transfer. In June, two months after starting the whole process she has received a letter from the new provider saying the Post Office have declined again, their excuse this time is "the account does not allow transfers"! This is a load of rubbish, it is quite clear in the conditions of the account that, at the end of the fixed term, you can transfer this product out. She has sent another message to Post Office, but they will take at least a week to respond, their customer service is absolutely appalling!

You just can’t win

Paid for my valuable package to be shipped to me by Post Office Tracked 48 hour service. After too many problems with the likes of Evri, Yodel and Fedex, who leave packages on the doorstep or chuck them over the gate, (despite there being a large sign on the door requesting that packages are not left on the doorstep or thrown over the gate), my valuable package was ‘delivered’ by the Post Office by leaving it on the doorstep by an, obviously illiterate postman. You just can’t win, what do I have to do to get a package delivered to me in a responsible manner? TQ891089642GB

Would give 0*

Would give 0* Parcel due to be delivered today before 1pm tracked and to sign for. 12.45pm got an email saying 'attempted to deliver, no answer.' Attempted delivery time 12.25pm. The same time that I am sat watch our driveway having my lunch, whilst 4 workmen repaired the path directly outside our house, unfortunately as the postman was invisible neither myself, my wife or the 4 workmen saw or heard anything!!!!

Disgraceful

A4 size envelope, clearly with a father's day card inside (says Moonpig on envelope), shoved through letterbox shredding envelope and damaging card. What's the matter with post delivery people - if it doesn't fit don't shove it till it does.

Businesses - Please Stop Using this Company. They are the worst

Awaiting a parcel needed for the weekend (ordered with plenty of lead time I received a tracking number When I checked this, it told me the item was delivered yesterday - but the 'proof' of delivery is a very laughable photo of a thumb (i think) and nothing else. Unable to contact the depot (they've disabled local numbers it seems) Took 35 minutes to get through to a human who insisted it had been delivered It took another 20 minutes to 'register' the complaint and was palmed off with a 'the local office will investigate and get back to you' I am a business owner myself and regularly have courier deliveries and pick ups to my address. The ONLY time I ever have problems seems to be with this company. Honestly, I really wish companies would STOP USING THEM

The Post Office cannot be relied upon.

Order from EBay. The carrier was the OST Office who sent a tracking number and tracking record which has remained blank. The small parcel should have been delivered by Monday 9/06/25, which was the latest date. I am annoyed because the Post Office has not updated me in Amy way. No wonder they are in financial difficulties.

Nosey, rude staff.

Sold an item on ebay, the buyer asked me to send it to his dad in Australia, so I took it to the post office. The woman behind the counter treated me like some kind of criminal and started asking all sorts of questions, because the return address was in Cheltenham and I live in Scotland. I didn't explain to her, because I shouldn't have to. I said "I'm sending it on their behalf" Her reply was something like "In 21 yeas of working for the post office I've never come across this before" YOU'VE NEVER COME ACROSS SOMEONE SENDING A PARCEL ON BEHALF OF SOMEONE ELSE? Have a word love. I decided to take the parcel back and use a different post office where the staff don't think they're Columbo, and try to make their customers feel uneasy. Do your job. Stop being nosey.
