Just been to drop off a package at the Post Office in the Horsefair, Kidderminster. And the staff were absolutely vile!
So pointlessly rude and unhelpful!
We will be taking our custom elsewhere in future.
If I could give 0 stars I would.
Vile people.
We had a great postman last year, and then he retired, gone to pot since, I have not had any mail for weeks unless it was a parcel, they deliver at random times as well.
I often get mail that is intended for someone else!
This time I chaised the postman down and gave him the letter back that he had posted through my door.
I’m expecting some important stuff as well!
Bedford is the town and MK41 is the area
I want to express how wonderfully I was treated at Calhoun Ky post office. I needed a passport and didn’t know how to go about it. Dawn helped me on two different occasions. Dawn was very patient and helped me to get documents I needed as I didn’t know how to use the internet very well. She was very informative, wrote down contact numbers for me. Helped me to understand why I needed these documents. I am grateful to her. Please give her a raise, she is worth it!!!
Do not bank with the post office unless you never want to see your money again. It is impossible to transfer or withdraw your money. My husband has just spent the last 3 1/2 hours on the phone and online trying to transfer his money. We have just sent our third email regarding it and still no response.
We went in with a letter which we asked whether it is a free address, which we now know it is. The cashier said it wasnt and preceded to sell us a £8 tracked service, to a free address for a single a4 sheet of paper. Day light robbery.
Location"Peckham High St, London SE15 5SF, 20/11/2025.
When I arrived at this post office I noticed that only one staff member was behind the counter, which led to significant delays and frustration among customers. Many patrons visibly left the premises without being served due to the lack of staff and the poor management of the situation. Despite these clear issues, the manager failed to take any action to improve the situation or to address the customers' concerns.
When it was finally my turn at the counter, I was shocked to be met with a loud, rude, and hostile outburst from the manager. As I attempted to inquire about receiving a package, the manager not only refused to check but also started shouting at me and using inappropriate and offensive language. He repeatedly swore at me in front of other customers and told me to “get out,” escalating the situation and causing an unnecessary argument within the premises. I believe this post office should receive the awards for the most worst in Britain!
Sold an item on eBay took it to my local post office Tue eve 12 Nov 2024 for a delivery to customer out first class , today 20 Nov it's still not arrived I called the post office customer service team who tracked the number saying it's now at their london sorting office and can give me no more information as to when he will receive the item that should be out next day 13 arriving no later than 14th I have been paid by eBay and you can imagine my customers frustration I have offered him £25.00 to hang on , already he has now quite rightly started a dispute , please be aware the post office have left me in a mess and I have paid well over £6.00 for the first class delivery . Here's the thing the post office are wriggling around saying I have to give them up until the 25 to deliver an item out for next day imagine the customer somebody innocently buying and waiting anxiously ?? Imagine yourself now trying to retrieve the package and a negative review on an otherwise 100%feedback it's today still not delivered and a dispute has been raised for and by tge customer .Today I have lost total trust in the post office their fob me off attitude and damaging my eBay seller reputation so important to gaining confidence from the buyer they are Unable to clarify when he will receive , what and where the hold up has been indeed if this expensive item will actually be delivered I am left stressed and disgusted today I have and having to switch to a different and more reliable courier please be warned the post office as they claim are not reliable and unable to source and find out give positive and reassuring answers
Unbelievably poor service (I still can't believe it!)
Firstly, let me say that this is a 'one star' review only because zero or minus numbers are not an option. I have just come off a call trying to understand why a parcel posted in Bristol and destined for L'Derry (Northern Ireland) should make it to Belfast and then be sent to Warrington, where it has stayed for three weeks despite attempts to get it delivered. When I queried this, I was told that we (The PO) don't know where your parcel is (I do, Warrington!); that there is very little chance of it being delivered (it was implied that the sender did not pay enough!!!); and when I asked if the call handler thought this was good customer service? I was told 'yes'. There in a nutshell is why the PO is in trouble - incompetence, complacency and a contempt for their customers.
Aberystwyth post office do not except card payments for Toping up Gas card Only Cash They will not give me or anyone else a reason why this policy exists !!, Explanation would be nice.
More like a missed delivery, than first class service.
Was awaiting a parcel since last Thursday. To say the tracking was non existent would be a lie. Was given a delivery date of Nov 15th, which didn't happen. Was then told it was still on route. And was basically given information that I already knew.
Updates were so slow, that I rang twice, due to thinking there was a problem. Apparently it takes 17 hours to drive from London to Birmingham.
Parcel was finally delivered today.
And will you please tell your post people, that they're supposed to push letters completely through the letter box, not leave them practically outside.
I miss the days of the old post office.
An order was sent to me via a 24 hour tracked service on Friday 15th November (MZ256779830GB). Delivery was attempted on Saturday 16th November unsuccessfully; I wasn’t home at the time of the delivery so no issue there.
Redelivery was meant to be attempted on Monday 18th November. I took the day off work specifically so I wouldn’t miss the re-delivery. I received a message saying re delivery was attempted but failed as the courier apparently couldn't access the building. I don’t know what they attempted but my buzzer is functional (I checked afterwards to be sure) and hasn’t rang once during the entire day.
Delivery is now rescheduled for tomorrow, when I definitely won’t be in, and I don’t have the option to collect from the sorting office.
A very very poor service.
Had an e-mail on Saturday 16th November to say my parcel was at my local post office and due for delivery that day - it did not arrive. The postman has been today and still no sign of my parcel. Phoned customer services to complain and was told that 48 hour tracked is an aim not guaranteed. Why would anyone waste their money on this service, was also told that the sender cannot get a refund of the postage paid! Other delivery companies would never get away with this, but for some reason the post office do. Personally I would never send a parcel with Royal Mail as there more reliable companies are available and at a similar cost.
I think it depends where you live and what your experience is but mine was always bad but when I had a shouting match with the postman after that he understood I am disabled and can’t get to the door quickly I also now have a sticker on my door saying I am disabled I will need time to get to the door not one delivery company understands that but Royal Mail we have a new post person should I say as this time we have a nice lady who again waited to I got to the door so Royal Mail well done I live in Stonehaven Scotland
