Parcel returned from Royal mail

Parcel returned from Royal mail. Post office staff did not know why although they had completed the CN22 and I signed it. The parcel came back after 7 weeks with a CN15(b) form on the returned parcel. After 15 minutes, they sent me off with a contact number that could not help. Poor service. Visit an alternative post office if you want your post to be delivered.

My local Postman is great BUT when it comes to parcels they do not come any where near the time that they are due such as 9:30 11:45. It it ALWAYS well into the afternoon. This makes it impossible to plan. I have commitments which I am willing to work around but NOT the WHOLE DAY. If you say you will deliver between these time THEN YOU SHOULD. On top of that it's the same guy - who's not too friendly - it's like you have disturbed him by having a parcel delivered.

Possibly the worst delivery company in…

Possibly the worst delivery company in the UK. The regular guys are great who deliver your letters, however, when you have a parcel being delivered not letters, it never arrives on time, the time slots are too long as well, and when they stick a note via your door they don't tell you what neighbour they left it with and the item reference on the last two were incorrect. I have heard they use agencies workers to deliver parcels. They clearly need more training. Lastly trying to get hold of anyone to speak to is like trying to speak to Pope.

1 Star is 1 too Many

If I could give the PO zero stars I would. I sent a parcel using their online system and printed my own label. Made sure weight was correct and paid for 1st class. 1 Week on parcel still not delivered. In constant contact with recipient - no delivery - no form nothing. Checking the Barcode -= cant be updated until a delivery is attempted. !! Went to my parcel collection office, who to be fair, were helpful. Parcel seemingly has a surcharge but can't tell me why. I offered to pay it to release the parcel - sorry no can do! Recipient needs to receive a grey form, pay it and either collect the parcel or arrange delivery. So far a week in no delivery has been attempted for either the parcel or the grey form. Try Customer Serices they said - hung on the phone for 15 minutes but not reply. But we are doing everything we can to help you says the machine. Surely there must be a better way of handling this. I now have to inconvenience the recipient to retrieve their parcel for something I did (or did not do) despite the payment form having my address on it!. NEED TO DO BETTER!

Broken Britain…

Contacted Royal Mail customer services about a specific delivery issue and got a generic innane unhelpful standard response even though I paid for "tracking". Absolutely disgraceful customer service that epitomises the lazy feckless public sector style mindset in this country. This orga isation needs to disappear as soon as possible and all the wasters that work there get a taste of unemployment

Post office in Angus, Edzell

This small village Post Office in Edzell is the pits - best avoid ! The counter is a common counter for sweets/cigarette , papers etc, so if you want a financial transaction, there is NO privacy. The queue behind you are party to all that you are doing and can hear all conversations. Not all counter staff can do PO stuff and seems like only one person is authorised - who isnt always there leading to delays. Complaints have been made previously to the PO but this is ignored- to be expected as we all know what kind of totally trustworthy organisation they are !! AVOID !!

our local shop has post office inside…

our local shop has post office inside and they are lovely open long ours too. regarding euro £50 notes are definitely accepted all countries abroad, also £100 and £200 so I don't understand a recent complaint about the money,.

Collections - Don't Use Post Office - Your Waste Your Time

Booked a collection for today for 9:30-11:30 literally waiting at street door all morning, it's now 13:30 and missed an appointment I had planned for 13:00. Has PO turned up NO. What a waste of my day. Don't use Post Office for Collections - Bunch of Cowboys. You've been warned.

Currency Note Denominations!

The staff are as confused as me (there is no issue with the service in branch) An order of currency ie £1000 with rounding up equals 1150 euros - 1000 of which are in 50 euro notes. In the UK it is nigh on impossible to tender a £50 note anywhere due to fraud etc - well in rural Spain and Portugal most places either do not accept them or the smaller cafes etc cannot change such large denominations. At one time I could ask for lower denomination notes but that option is not available when ordering on line. This particular branch does not carry currency for walk in business so cannot offer lower denomination notes. I will now endeavour to visit a bank abroad to change the 50 euro notes. Come on Post Office get your act together!

I have been trying to resolve a…complaint

I have been trying to resolve a complaint since December 2024 regarding a lost parcel and have been promised a cheque for a number of months. Alas the cheque has been sent to the wrong address and despite repeated assurances the cheque is on its way, it has never arrived. Repeated phone calls to staff who promise it’s on its way and yet now at the end of April still no cheque. Absolutely shocking service with poorly trained staff.
