P&O Cruises is exceptionally well-rated by customers. Customers particularly appreciate service and quality, though some mention concerns about customer service and expensive.
It was just a lovely cruise. There was everything we wanted and being very much older, plenty of time to relax if needed. The staff are amazing, respectful and welcoming. The Baltic cities are wonderful sights and the talks by Dave Wright were inspirational and riveting. We went to every one. Loved every minute

What a beautiful ship, staff, food, drink, rooms the whole experience was memorable, my first cruise and a fantastic experience with great and beautiful locations visited in Norway.
Have recently returned from PO Britannia 10 anniversary cruise of the British Isles which we had been really looking forward to as it was visiting places we haven't been to before, although disappointed they cancelled our trip to Edinburgh. The cruise got off to a bad start for us it took nearly two hours from dropping our luggage off to actually get on to the ship (usually takes 20-30 mins) so was not happy it was exhausting and would have put of off if it was our first cruise. Luckily it all improved from then on and we had a fantastic and relaxing cruise. Food excellent and staff very friendly in particular Akrita and Stanley from the Meridan restaurant and Jenson our cabin steward. Britannia certainly pulled the stops out with the entertainment this cruise it was spectacular on deck and in theatre, you had to queue early to get a seat in theatre even though they did 3 shows a night it was full half an hour before show started. We did three shore excursions with PO and all where very good with knowledgeable guides on the coaches and the shuttle bus in other places was well organised. Sort the boarding out and back too 5 stars next time.

Mediterranean cruise booked 3 days ago problem with the allocated flight return journey so tried to get in touch with P&O on 03453555111 to amend flight booking waited 2 hours 16 minutes in the call queue gave up and called the customer service line to be told they were very busy and I should call back later

Relaxing holiday on Arcadia. This has to be the friendliest ship in the fleet. Spent a lot of time chatting with other lovely passengers. Staff again a credit to P&O. Food great and Headliners entertainers exceptional. Ship a little tired in places. Shame about the weather and missed / changed ports but didn't spoil our holiday. Would sail on Arcadia again.

Watch out for the double charge for on-board services. I have asked my credit card company to refund the charge and P&O can swing for it. I have contacted them 3 times and no reply. Its now 31 days since they added a charge onto my card and still it's there. I'm getting the actual charge refunded and they can have zero. How rude to ignore me completely.

Extremely poor customer service on the phone. Called to ask if a restaurant on board Iona needed to be pre-booked before embarking as the link on our online booking wasn’t working. However they were unable to speak to me (at all) because I wasn’t the lead booker. They couldn’t even answer a general question on if a restaurant needed pre-booking, nothing to do with our actual booked cruise so there’s no issues with data protection as they were claiming! The agent on the phone kept saying well maybe this restaurant needs to be booked when you’re on the ship if it’s not working online but due to data protection I can’t tell you for sure which is completely ridiculous. It is incredibly frustrating after spending 90 minutes on hold before you even get to speak to someone.

Had a great time on this cruise. Admittedly the weather could have been better but the ports that we visited were great. Inside cabin that was a little tired looking but perfectly adequate for the time spent in it. Enough storage for clothing. Hairdryer was good as well! Lots of things going on on board for sea days so there was always something to do. Great library as well.

We were on Arcadia for 19 days for a trip to the Mediterranean. This was our second cruise on Arcadia. It was wonderful despite not being able to visit 2 ports. All the places we visited were full of history. On board the food and entertainment were wonderful. We were certainly made to feel very welcome and made several friends on board. We are going on Aurora next year and looking forward to it very much.

This is an excellent itinerary although if you don’t like sea days you may not agree also the weather was unusually dismal, which took the shine off Santorini and the wind cancelled our call to Athens. Nevertheless the temperatures were good for visiting places and the tours were well worth the cost. The ship was in tip top condition and the crew worked hard to please. A restful cruise with stimulating highlights.

3rd cruise with P&O and i found it a pleasure. Would definitely book another. Friendly staff and workers on board all willing to help with a smile. Everything taken off for you. Looking forward to booking another destination later on in the year. Or if a good deal available then will go sooner.

Really enjoyed our second trip with P&O, a cruise really is what you make it sometimes and I would personally recommend P&O for anyone looking to experience their first cruise. I preferred the Iona as it’s a bigger ship than Ventura and has more to offer. However, Ventura may be more appropriate for senior guests who may prefer a smaller ship. The beds were so comfortable!
