taking advantage of the situation

July 1 – We visited Pinoy Tourism (agent: Ms. Cyra) to apply for an A-to-A exit. My boyfriend trusted her since she was the one who booked their tickets for their vacation in 2024. She offered a Sharjah flight for July 3, which we accepted because he needed to exit as soon as possible. We paid AED 1845. Initially, we thought she would apply for a Sharjah visa, as other agencies had told us that Dubai visas were risky due to high rejection rates. However, we later learned that what she actually offered was for a Dubai visa. Ms. Cyra explained that for cancellation cases, they typically apply for a Dubai visa, but for tourist visas, a Sharjah visa is being applied. July 2 evening – My boyfriend left Abu Dhabi for his 3 AM flight from Sharjah on July 3. July 3 – He exited to Kuwait and then returned to Sharjah, waiting for his visa. Before 6 PM, we received notification that his visa had been rejected. She informed him and asked if we wanted to reapply for a Sharjah visa, which would cost AED 1378. Given this situation, I decided to check with another agency and Re-applied his visa. Unfortunately his visa is still waiting for approval. July 5 Before 6PM, i received a call from Ms. Cyra, informing that we needed to book a flight for my BF ASAP because immigration had called and receive a warning that if he didn't leave that night or early the next morning, he would be deported. I asked her to check available flights and costs, and she found a one-way flight from Sharjah to Singapore for AED 4169. I called my friend, a travel supervisor at Bin Saleh, for help, and she contacted Ms. Cyra to discuss the situation. My friend advised me not to book the ticket, saying it was unlikely that immigration would call over the weekend, especially given that no visas were being approved. Following her advice, I decided not to book the flight. July 6 – At 11 AM, my boyfriend’s visa was approved, and he entered the UAE. To anyone reading this, please be careful when dealing with agents, even if the company is legitimate. You might experience something similar, and it seems some agents are taking advantage of the situation.

Extremely disappointed

Extremely disappointed. When I asked about the possibility of an overstay fine, the agent said nothing and didn’t suggest rescheduling, even after seeing my mom flight details. She should have advised me properly, but showed no initiative. I ended up paying a fine and needing an outpass—all of which could’ve been avoided. Not professional at all.

And what happened with appointment was that we were clearly told ( on voice message) that our appointment is on 2/5/25 and then on 30/4/25 around afternoon randomly while discussing documents we discovered that appointment is on 1/5/25 ( No one mentioned to us that appt date has been changed) We had booked train tickets (140£ for both of us) to london on 2/5 We had to urgently book an emergency leave from hospital in order to attend appt on 1st and we even faced loss of 140£ train tickets since they were non refundable !!!

LYN THE FAT SCAMMER

I recently had the misfortune of dealing with Pjnoy Tourism, particularly LYN, DIANE ENERI AND QAZI ARFAT and I must say it was an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience. From the very start, the agent demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism, knowledge, and reliability. Every inquiry I made to LYN was either met with vague responses or blatant misinformation, which led to significant disruptions in my travel plans. Important deadline was missed, and critical bookings were mishandled, costing me both time and money. Communication was poor, with days going by before any response, only to receive answers that were unhelpful or contradictory. In the midst of my visa arriving late, I received minimal to no support. It felt as though I had to do all the research and chasing myself, which defeats the purpose of hiring a travel agent. To LYN, may your soul rot in the deepest pit of hell for the inconvenience you have caused me ang my family. May you meet someone as incompetent as you and cause you that much money and time. What goes around comes back around. You know you lied during the phone call you did to convince me to take your appointment which is not even my preferred one. You scammed us. Pray that your family will not encounter someone as terrible as you. I would not recommend Pinoy Tourism to anyone seeking assistance with travel arrangements. The level of incompetence and disregard for customer satisfaction was staggering. Save yourself the stress and choose an agency that values professionalism and attention to detail.

Inefficient and irresponsible

They take your money and make you sign waiver that it takes 3 to 7 days to process visa where we all know how efficient UAE gov't system is. It brings negative impression to UAE as the staff excuse is Immigration has not given feedback yet. Really inefficient if you expect 3 days process of visas.

NEGLIGENT, UNPROFESSIONAL, IRRESPONSIBLE, and JUST ALL ABOUT THE MONEY

I'm giving one star for the hope given to us after we lost hope that we couldn't book for an appointment and only this company had the available dates apparently. But the final result of my husband and son's Schengen visa REFUSED, was just heartbreaking but Lyn, together with the customer service team, and this company, THEY DON'T CARE. As long as you've paid their service, and won't provide a compensation. Such a shame. I regret not reading the reviews before actually paying for their service. DECEITFUL. Same with the most reviews here, THEY DON'T CHECK EVERY DOCUMENT to make sure you will have a successful application. They just tick boxes, but they don't examine your documents. WHAT'S THE POINT OF PAYING THEIR SERVICE? We got busy at work so we paid for their service to offload the stress. It seemed like you just paid for the appointment they bought. I have a foreign solicitor and lawyers and they have been our trusted agency for our UK visa applications, however, they don't do DIRTY WORKS so they couldn't help us as there were no appointments available. But they never ask for payment before successful visa application. We never had visa refusal from them. I have emailed their customer service many times, explaining how NEGLIGENT and UNPROFESSIONAL their agent is, if not just her, their whole business. But they are IRRESPONSIBLE and don't take accountability, they don't care about their customers. I can push this to the courts as I have evidences of communications. But I DON'T RECOMMEND PINOY TOURISM at all. Just book appointments on your own ahead of time, all requirements should be listed, and just ask people who's applied for one. These people only care about the money you pay them, not really your situation. Good luck.

Negligent staff....Terrible service and experience

Terrible service and experience. Staff untrained and negligent in their job which led to a visa refusal. Despite attempts to make contact and ask for a refund no responsibility is being taken and we are now financially at a loss. I will be taking legal action if we are not fully re imbursed. Applied for visa, was sent a list to provide documents. Documents were sent and checked and told all was ok what i sent.(Couldn't of been checked otherwise it would not of led to the refusal of visa) I sent the money over and appointment was booked. The visa was refused because lack of funds in account. I queried this with the agent after to ask why who tells me £1k needs to be in the bank. Well firstly your list said 3months statement only. No minimum was on the list atall! I have ALL the screenshot chats you DID NOT mention £1k minimum. And also if you checked the documents i provided, you would of got back to me stating its not correct. At that point I would of said let's leave it and wait and apply once we have the correct funds to show £1k. So I have messaged and chased for my money to be refunded and no one is taking liability. I applied for the visa for my husband and dealt with the agent all the way through the process due to my husbands english. She sent me the wrong list twice when I go through the old chats. After all documents was sent to her and money was sent I was due to travel myself. I sent her my husbands work rota with free dates for the appointment dates he could attend. I gave her my husbands number to send him the details of the booked appointment. After booking the appointment 2 days before the date she send sends him a list with £1k minimum on the banking! She is now trying to pass the buck and blame my husband and stating she sent the right list and it's our error. This is so very wrong! The list is not sent correctly from the beggining, you also didnt do your job and check the documents as you will see not £1k in bank. And you can't send the right list days before appointment after taking my money! If we knew at first stages £1k is needed we would say no just leave it. I dealt with the application not my husband, dont blame any one other then Lyn your agent. I will be taking further action to recover visa fees, visa appointment fee, the hotel booking and travel booking. You lost us a whole holiday and alot of money due to your negligence and you won't get away with this. Train your agents to provide the right list from the very beggining. We dont know about visas hence why we pay you to do the job. you didnt do the job and we want out money back. This will be posted all over socials and any review platforms to make people aware of the scams!
