taking advantage of the situation

July 1 – We visited Pinoy Tourism (agent: Ms. Cyra) to apply for an A-to-A exit. My boyfriend trusted her since she was the one who booked their tickets for their vacation in 2024. She offered a Sharjah flight for July 3, which we accepted because he needed to exit as soon as possible. We paid AED 1845. Initially, we thought she would apply for a Sharjah visa, as other agencies had told us that Dubai visas were risky due to high rejection rates. However, we later learned that what she actually offered was for a Dubai visa. Ms. Cyra explained that for cancellation cases, they typically apply for a Dubai visa, but for tourist visas, a Sharjah visa is being applied. July 2 evening – My boyfriend left Abu Dhabi for his 3 AM flight from Sharjah on July 3. July 3 – He exited to Kuwait and then returned to Sharjah, waiting for his visa. Before 6 PM, we received notification that his visa had been rejected. She informed him and asked if we wanted to reapply for a Sharjah visa, which would cost AED 1378. Given this situation, I decided to check with another agency and Re-applied his visa. Unfortunately his visa is still waiting for approval. July 5 Before 6PM, i received a call from Ms. Cyra, informing that we needed to book a flight for my BF ASAP because immigration had called and receive a warning that if he didn't leave that night or early the next morning, he would be deported. I asked her to check available flights and costs, and she found a one-way flight from Sharjah to Singapore for AED 4169. I called my friend, a travel supervisor at Bin Saleh, for help, and she contacted Ms. Cyra to discuss the situation. My friend advised me not to book the ticket, saying it was unlikely that immigration would call over the weekend, especially given that no visas were being approved. Following her advice, I decided not to book the flight. July 6 – At 11 AM, my boyfriend’s visa was approved, and he entered the UAE. To anyone reading this, please be careful when dealing with agents, even if the company is legitimate. You might experience something similar, and it seems some agents are taking advantage of the situation.

Extremely disappointed

Extremely disappointed. When I asked about the possibility of an overstay fine, the agent said nothing and didn’t suggest rescheduling, even after seeing my mom flight details. She should have advised me properly, but showed no initiative. I ended up paying a fine and needing an outpass—all of which could’ve been avoided. Not professional at all.

And what happened with appointment was that we were clearly told ( on voice message) that our appointment is on 2/5/25 and then on 30/4/25 around afternoon randomly while discussing documents we discovered that appointment is on 1/5/25 ( No one mentioned to us that appt date has been changed) We had booked train tickets (140£ for both of us) to london on 2/5 We had to urgently book an emergency leave from hospital in order to attend appt on 1st and we even faced loss of 140£ train tickets since they were non refundable !!!

Ms. Lyn has been very responsive all throughout our application, not that quick to reply ( as she probably busy working or accommodating other clients) which is tottally understandable, would defo reccommend her and her business as compare to other visa assistance online it is much way cheaper, if you are desperate for quickiest way to get a schengen appointment! I would like to commend my experience with miss Angela of Pinoy Tourism. She was very accommodating in answering all my queries regarding my daughters travel. Thanks to her help, my daughter is now finally here with me in the UAE. Thank you for such wonderful service. I always hear a lot of ghost story on applying and entering to Emirates country. Pinoy Tourism was referred to me and since 2024 we’d been using them, either travel or work. The very first is a visit visa for my sister to Dubai, her first time to travel and to travel alone. She was coach by Bubbles and provided all the list of documents needed.Since then I’ve been recommending Pinoy Tourism, to my family and friends. Kudos to Bubbles and the rest of the team!

Request for Full Refund – Travel Insurance Issue

Request for Full Refund – Travel Insurance Issue am writing to formally raise a concern regarding a travel insurance policy I purchased on March 27, 2025, from your Deira branch at Al Ghurair Centre. The agent who assisted me was Ms. Patricia. Before purchasing the insurance, I clearly informed Ms. Patricia via WhatsApp that the policy must meet the requirements of the VFS checklist for a Malta visa, which states that the insurance must cover both UAE residents and non-residents. Ms. Patricia confirmed that the policy covered both, and based on her assurance, I proceeded and paid AED 499. However, on March 28, Ms. Patricia called to inform me that the insurance does not cover non-UAE residents, which directly contradicts what she told me earlier. She also mentioned that cancellation was only allowed before 7 PM on the day of purchase. I reminded her that I had already provided all the requirements and the VFS checklist in advance, before she processed the policy. When it became clear the insurance would not meet the visa requirements, Ms. Patricia herself advised me to cancel the policy, and I did so immediately. I then requested a refund and followed up multiple times. On April 21, Ms. Patricia informed me that the refund would be processed on April 25, but when I visited your office, thay agree to refunded only AED 170,I not take money. even though I paid AED 499. I strongly believe this situation is not my fault. The mistake happened due to incorrect information provided by your staff, despite my clear communication and documentation. Because of the Eid holiday and the urgency of my visa, I had to buy a new insurance policy from another company for AED 2,183. I am therefore requesting a full refund of AED 499, as the issue was caused entirely by staff error and miscommunication. Attached are the WhatsApp messages and screenshots supporting my claim.
