Really disappointed to have my 1st order delayed, not at all happy that you promise next day delivery for orders done before a set time.. really feel I got sucked into purchasing prescription food because of how quick you promise to deliver... no doubt youll blame the courier and this is out of your hands but a very poor service to promise anyone, 1 star only and there won't be any future orders either!
Very good for food and prescriptions. Ordered Galliprant on script, my vet sent the script Saturday so I ordered on that day. By Monday it was dispatched and the medication is now arriving by Thursday. With a past supplier I have to give a 3-4 week wait, but now I feel more confident using PDOL.
Cheaper than the vets. Ordered 1.00pm on a Friday and delivered 10.30am following morning. (selected 1-2 business days) Excellent company to do business with
Instead of updating their website accordingly to advise they are not posting out Librela because of the hot weather they have taken orders then sent an email 2 days later! Luckily I dont need the Librela straight away however did need the heart tablets but instead of posting the rest of order out that does not require refrigeration they have held it all back...no response to 2 emails so I have rang them to be advised matter of factly that not just my order its thousands and they dont have the resources to check each individual order?! No apology or offer to help so I terminated the call as lost for words. Had issues before where paid top postage for fast delivery and not actioned or refunded but as soon as these scripts expire not using them again...if dont have resources as she put it then shouldn't be trading or they need a few extra hundred staff...quick enough to take payment bet the owner isn't lacking in resources!
I ordered 4 boxes of Purina Gourmet wet cat food, 4 per box. The shipment box (containing all 4 boxes) arrived wet with cat food, as two cans inside were damaged and slit open. It took me time, effort and lots of cleaning to open each box, find the damaged can and clean all the others. There were two damaged cans in two different boxes. I took several photos of the damaged cans and sent a polite email to Pet Drugs Online clearly explaining what had happened and requesting compensation. After about a week there was still no response from Pets Drugs Online, so I wrote once again, sending the same email and photos. The (pro forma) response I finally received explained that damage occurs, that tins can get "a little dented" during transit, there's nothing they can do about it, and basically that customers should expect this might happen. The email went on to say that if I "attach photos" of the damage, they will "look into" my query. I was a little shocked by this response. No reference was made to the detailed letter and numerous photos that I had already sent them, twice. And I now had to send them a THIRD time. And saying they will "look into" my query? Do they think I might have faked the photos? Or slit the cans open myself? It's a very poor way to respond to a customer. Interestingly, their letter also implied that it was the fault of the courier (they said "if" I sent photos, the photos would be passed on "to the courier service for investigation"). As if Royal Mail opened the package and the boxes inside and slit open the cans themselves! Ultimately, Pet Drugs Online wrote back to me saying they will compensate two cans. Once again, a very disappointing response to a loyal customer. Considering all the hassle of having to clean up 8 cans in the two damaged boxes, the time it has taken Pet Drugs Online to respond and the time-consuming back-and-forth of emails, not to mention the fact that I have been a loyal customer for many years, I was expecting Pet Drugs Online to send me two new boxes of 4 cans each. And more than that, I was expecting to be treated with respect and consideration, and for Pet Drugs Online to take some responsibility for damaged products that they send. I have always had a good experience with ordering from Pet Drugs Online, and the positive reviews reflect this. HOWEVER, I would now say that service is good UNTIL THERE IS A PROBLEM. I will not likely be ordering from them in the future.
Absolutely amazing service, I have ordered from them a few times now and wouldn’t order anywhere else. The team are helpful, friendly and efficient. Delivery is always super quick and nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommend 😊
Beware if you are placing a prescription order. You have to place the order (& pay) first, to get an order number, which you pass onto your vets. The vet can then email a copy of the relevant prescription with an order number. I placed the order on Monday and paid for 1-2 day delivery @ £6.99. My vets emailed the prescription to petdrugsonline, also on Monday. I then get an email saying prescription orders can take up to 48 hours to process, by the prescription team. No mention of a despatch delay at point of order. It's now Thursday, and after repeated emails and a phone call - saying I needed the medication by Friday latest - still not got a confirmation that this has been sorted. Kinda makes a mockery of the 1-2 day delivery charge - which they have refused to refund. They are undoubtedly much cheaper than sourcing direct from own vet. But, just beware if you need a fast turnaround on medication as takes at least 5 days.
I ordered a bag of allergenic biscuits for my cat who has food allergies. The parcel was delivered but unfortunately was stolen off my doorstep. I contacted Pet Drugs online who advised and gave me steps to resolve the situation. Once done they sent another bag of biscuits free of charge and delivery. I'm so grateful.
Very poor communication, zero customer service, slow to dispatch and slow to respond to messages, no order tracking was sent. The package arrived very battered, not very well packed and no information sheet in with the medication, very unprofessional and not trustworthy, I will use another company going forward
Don't know what's happened to this company. I ordered 10 packets of dental chews for my dog, among over £100s worth of other things. They sent me one packet and refused to send out the rest saying that I can't prove they didn't send them out. Dread to think what happens with pets prescriptions, very worrying. Absolutely ridiculous, avoid.
I was informed of this company from my vet for ordering new medication for my cat and this is now my second time using their service. Very easy to find different products and orders have been dispatched very promptly, even with standard delivery, prices are also very reasonable in comparison to ordering directly through the vet. It's also very easy to make a profile for your pet online and you can upload their repeat prescriptions for future use when ordering again. The best thing, however, is their customer service! I contacted them via phone, after my order failed their prescription vet check (my fault, after ordering 100 box and not realising you could just order the single tablets and increase the total to whatever you needed). I phoned to amend my order and the man (apologies I couldn't hear your name very well, I think it was Simon??) was so helpful and friendly. Very clear with how I can order again and explained the different postal options for delivery as I was worried I would run out. He said he couldn't guarantee it would be today or Monday (as it's out of their hands with regard to the couriers) but he obviously did something because I've already received an email to say it's been dispatched which means it'll arrive before my current stash will run out which is what I wanted to avoid overall. My cat's on this medication after being poorly and it's administered daily so I don't want to ever run out of her medication so I really appreciate this prompt service. Thank you so much!!
Excellent service for prescription drugs and normal treatments. Customer service call personnel are fantastic to I had questions they put my mind at rest.
Delivery is quick and the price is good. Communication is slow, I did return a purchase they refunded the wrong amount, they did rectify this but like I said as communication is slow it took a while. I would still buy from them though.
Been using pet drugs online for my dogs prescription for a year now for her allergy meds. Always sent a photo of prescription from vets to be processed on their end. This time with uploading prescription they waited 4 days to tell me that they now require the physical paper prescription to be posted to them, tracked (at my expense). They also stated that my vet actioned this but I spoke to them and that wasn't the case so not sure what happened there. From there delivery was fairly prompt so will keep using in the future but this delay meant my dog was without her apoquel for 2 days and subsequently had a flare-up due to this. It's a shame the communication wasn't there from the get-go, just leaving this review to warn others so their pets' medication isn't delayed.
Very efficient and helpful company company. Have ordered my dogs prescription drugs several times. Communication online regarding the progress of the order. Once approved delivery is fast. Also very helpful and patient on the telephone when I difficulty sending the prescription. I couldn't afford to buy the medication from my vet so Pet Drugs Online is providing an important service.
Great idea but really let down by a poor online experience. I upload prescriptions from my vet and every time I order there is an issue because the prescription hasn’t been associated properly with the required drugs. So I have to upload it every time. Wish someone would just get it sorted out as you offer a great service but the back end is hopelessly poor.
I am not good with technology and doing things online so it's good to know that I can talk to someone who helps me through the process easily, I highly recommend pet drugs online.
Customer service is amazing! I had a problem and query about 2x tick collars and they sorted it out and issued a refund as they could see I was a regular customer.
