Animal Friends Insurance

We have always had a great experience with animal friends. After a few claims now for our french bulldog we have always received regular updates about our claims and prompt payment. I really like that the vets send everything over directly so you don’t have to worry about sorting out paperwork. I have also tailored the cover as our dog gets older increasing the excess to make it more affordable it increasing the cover.

Beware the Lifetime Superior policy from Animal Friends - it sounds like it should be a good one but isn’t. OK, it’s my fault for not realising, but I’ve just found that there is a limit of £2000 per condition. My cat has been hit by a car and the bill will be nearly £10,000, but I’ll only get £2000 back. I will be getting a better policy next time!

Easy to deal with did what they said they would

First class pet insurance. My Vet sunbmits any claims and I’ve never had any problems with getting paid out.

rated 4.5 stars felt excess + 20% was bit excessive perhaps 10%. Lovely having the vets practice complete the forms was very helpful and monies refunded was very prompt.

Whilst Animal Friends originally rejected my first claim, when I appealed this decision was reversed and since then they have paid quickly and with absolutely no hassle. Very content with their service.

Claims settled quickly and messages sent sensitive to the fact we had lost our dog.

Excellent service. Joii is invaluable for fairly instant help when you need it. Prompt payments to your vet. Paperwork completed by your vet makes it easy to use, especially when you have a poorly animal to care for. Joii vet sent us a message enquiring how our pet was after our vet visit.

When my beloved little dog became unwell and needed surgery, knowing I was insured with Animal Friends gave me peace of mind and my claim was dealt with within two weeks. Can’t recommend them highly enough 😊

Very expensive insurance quote for a 10 year old dog that has never claimed on pet insurance and has only been to the vets once after she was a pup to be spayed.
