Very efficient service at the Playa Del Ingles office, both at pick-up on 8/7/2025 and return on 11/7/2025.No attempt to sell unwanted excess insurance, just an explanation of the choice I had to take it or not. I'm not entirely sure the car I was given was truly an equivalent of the VW Polo I booked although that didn't detract from excellent service otherwise.
The lady at the front desk was very helpful, we got a c class car: toyota with 6gears. Well kept and clean. Air con and eveything was on point. No waiting when picking up, and legt the car outside theor office and delivered the keys;) I can recommend Orlando car rental via Bahia Feliz;)
Ik huurde een auto via DoYouSpain (DYS) in Playa del Ingles aan een promotioneel tarief bij Orlando. Bij afhaling waren de dames aan de balie zeer vriendelijk. De auto op zich was een wrak. Zeer oude Citroen C3 met heel veel kilometer op de teller. Motor gaf steeds een technische storing aan die moest hersteld worden. Volgens Orlando kon dat geen kwaad. Versnellingsbak was murw gereden. De bergen door in eerste en tweede versnelling is geen pretje. Op de autostrade kon geen snelheid gehaald worden. Auto was rondom beschadigd en het interieur was vies. Geen publiciteit noch voor Orlando, noch voor DYS. Neem geen verzekering bij DYS, Orlando biedt een gelijkaardige verzekering aan voor +/- dezelfde prijs en als je die neemt hoef je geen borg te stellen.
UNA AUTÉNTICA VERGÜENZA! Varios motivos por los que no alquilaría de nuevo aquí. Pedimos una silla de viaje para bebé, que por lo pronto nos cobraron prácticamente la mitad de lo que costó alquilar el coche durante 3 días. La silla está rota y no realiza su función de seguridad debidamente, lo notifiqué y me dijeron que no tenían más, pero lo peor de todo en este aspecto es que la silla me la dejaron en la carretera para que la montase yo, viendo que iba con un bebé, mi mujer muy embarazada y cargado de maletas. Un falta de hospitalidad y profesionalidad tremenda. Al montarme en el coche veo que el depósito no está lleno y le falta 1/4, y me hicieron firmar un depósito lleno para devolverlo lleno, lo notifiqué también por supuesto, y me ignoraron. El trato fue horroroso a la hora de gestionar estas discrepancias; no se preocuparon ni tampoco se hicieron cargo. Al montarnos al coche notamos que hay varias cosas rotas dentro del coche y me di media vuelta para notificarlas también, ya que no cogí el seguro a todo riesgo, y al no estar anotadas en el mapa de daños me dijeron textualmente: si quieres quedarte tranquilo contrata el seguro a todo riesgo, que supuso prácticamente la totalidad del alquiler del coche. En definitiva, el precio de esta empresa, que es lo más atractivo, se convierte en un engaño al tener que contratar el seguro, porque los coches están hechos una porquería y los extras, como por ejemplo silla de coche. NO LO RECOMIENDO EN ABSOLUTO. Ha sido un error por querer ahorrarme algún dinero, que me ha salido más caro y encima me llevo un sabor de boca muy muy agrio.

Hired a car from Orlando through Holiday Extras in Feb 2020. We received a nice polo from Costa Teguise office. The Manager Eduardo was most helpful and the whole process went very smooth. Will go back.
We desperately needed a rental car with only a couple hours’ notice - and nothing was available online. We popped into the Los Cristianos (Tenerife) office, and they rapidly organised a car, and ferried us over to the Playa De Las Americas office to let us pick it up. Smooth - and no hassle + full insurance included by default, so that you don’t have to nervously go over the car for dents and scratches upon pickup. The only drawback is that no breakdown service is offered upon the islands of El Hierro and La Gomera.
My partner and I rented a car from here, although online it was booked under the name "offer car hire" but when we arrived it was this company, something they probably do to stop newcomers seeing these reviews online because they are true, this company is a SCAM. Same story as everyone else...we rented a car, we paid the €1080 deposit because we had insurance seperatley, there was absolutely 0 damage to the car upon returning, but they refused to check the car with us they kept telling us they would do it later and just pushed us into the bus to the airport. 3 days later only €680 goes back onto the Credit Card and no explanation! We wrote to them, and their response was laughable, they said and I quote "there was damage there that wasn't there before" no explanation or report of any kind! We've written back requesting the specifics but now they are just ignoring our responses. We have seperate insurance and thank God too so we are claiming the money through them, but this company is 100% making their money off of scamming people, particularly those (like me) who was a first time car renter and so didn't spot the signs.
People dont even try booking with them. They are using scammy practise to scam people. When you will take the car, the person who will give you the car will ask for your credit card, for deposit. Later you will see that it was an aditional insurance you bought and you will not get your deposited money back!
Hired from TFS office after reading good reviews. Spent 20 minutes waiting for a shuttle bus, spent 20 minutes waiting to be acknowledged by counter staff, spent 40 minutes filling in previously completed forms while an waiting for counter staff to stop chatting on the phone. Had deposit charged straight to my card rather than being blocked, am waiting with swiftly draining patience for the card to be refunded. The car itself was fine.
Wie bereits schon mehrfach hier und überall im Internet zu lesen, scheint ein systematischer Betrug vor zu liegen. Wir haben über einen 3. Anbieter gebucht und landen bei Orlando. Nach über 2 Stunden warten am Flughafen, wurden wir in Teneriffa in einen Ort gefahren und eine Lagerhalle verbracht. Da warteten wir nochmal fast 1 Stunde auf das vor Wochen bestellte Auto. Wir haben ein Fahrzeug mit knapp 100.000 KM erhalten das übersäht war von Schäden (in Spanien bei der Laufleistung kein Wunder). Auch auf Drängen wurden keine Schäden festgehalten, wir sollen das selber machen (haben wir). Wir sind nicht wirklich viel gefahren und mussten eine Kaution via Kreditkarte von 660 Euro hinterlegen (auch die Versicherung wurde wehemend versucht zu verkaufen, die wir schon über den Anbieter hatten). Bei der Rückgabe, war alles ok, wir erhalten die Kaution in den nächsten Tagen wieder auf die Kreditkarte und konnten gehen (haben alles in Bilder fest gehalten). Ja, die Kaution wurde zurück gebucht, allerdings nur 600 Euro, wo der Rest ist, keine Ahnung, wir haben keine Info von Orlando erhalten, keine Rechnung, keine Info, kein Schreiben nichts. Obwohl wir bei der Abholung in dem Fragebogen sogar Heimat Adresse und Email angeben mussten, sonst hätten wir das Auto nicht bekommen. Der Anbieter, über den wir gebucht haben, will sich drum kümmern, dauert aber 6-8 Wochen. Von Orlando erhalten wir auf Nachfrage via Mail und Fax keine Antwort.
Am 08.12.2019 übernahm ich einen zuvor per Internet über Doyouspain vermittelten PKW in der Orlando Filiale in El Matorral, Fuerteventura. Den Mietpreis bezahlte ich bei der Buchung mit einer Kreditkarte, welche eine umfassende Versicherung für Mietwagen beinhaltet. Vor Ort sagte ich dies auch einem Mitarbeiter, welcher mir eine zusätzliche Versicherung angeboten hatte. Dieser verlangte dann von mir eine Kreditkarte zur Sicherung einer Kaution für eventuelle Verkehrsübertretungen oder Differenzen beim Tankinhalt. Ich übergab dem Herrn dann die von mir bei der Buchung benutzte Visa-Karte. Er steckte diese Karte in den Terminal und sagte mir, die Karte werde nicht akzeptiert, ich solle ihm eine andere Karte übergeben. Etwas irritiert, da die vermeintlich defekte Karte an diesem Tag schon zweimal erfolgreich im Einsatz war, übergab ich ihm eine zweite Karte. Auf dieser Karte belastete er dann einen für mich ungewöhnlichen Betrag von 120,88 Euro. Ich intervenierte daraufhin nochmals und sagte, ich brauche keine Zusatzversicherung. Der Mitarbeiter antwortete, der Betrag diene lediglich zur Sicherung eventueller anderer Ansprüche. Unsere Konversation verlief in englischer Sprache und ich hatte den Eindruck, er hätte keinerlei Defizite bei der Verständigung. Während des Aufenthaltes auf Fuerteventura musste ich allerdings feststellen, dass die 120,88 Euro tatsächlich abgebucht wurden. Bei der Rückgabe des PKW erklärte man mir, ich hätte eine Zusatzversicherung abgeschlossen und verweigerte Rückbuchung des illegal einbehaltenen Betrages. Schriftliche Rückfragen bei Orlando wurden mit einer Entschuldigung beantwortet; allerdings werde man den erschwindelten Betrag nicht rückerstatten.
Don't trust this company In October 2019 I hired a car from Orlando Rent a Car. I needed to use my credit card as a deposit guarantee but couldn’t remember the PIN so was required to take out their insurance. When I returned the car 10 days later I was told that everything was OK as the insurance covers any possible damage (there was none) When I returned home I saw an email from Orlando telling me the car was “returned in an improper condition” and that I was charged 202 Euros On request I received the damage report. There was sand in the footwells and the seats were stained (they were already stained when I collected the car) I contacted my bank to ask if there was any chance that I might get my money back. When I told them it was Orlando Rent a Car they agreed to put in a claim. Today, over 3 months later, I finally got confirmation that I’d get my money back. A long wait but worth it. In short DON’T USE ORLANDO RENT A CAR If you do and they try to rip you off, ask your bank to dispute the charge
- Red flag - Warning - Note that: From December 13 to 20, I had rented a car from Orlando Rent a Car - Fuerteventura Airport - orlandorc.com or also called: Offer ES, via Ryanair as a 'trusted' intermediary. Long story short: Car neatly returned, everything was good following the desk clerk, we could take the shuttle back to the airport. It appears that the same day more than 500, - have been taken from my credit card deposit. Totally wrong, but just prove it and go after it from here.... My advice is, do not rent from this untrusted company. It is true, it looks very messy and restless on arrival at location: Calle La Barcina 42-46, Poligono Ind, El Matorral, 35610, Fuerteventura. I now also read that in the approximately 15 other similar reviews on the Trustpilot of December 2019 alone. If this is your intention, do the following to have proof of everything: 1. Take photos of the outside, inside, ties with someone from the staff there. Ask for the name and have that person sign for the state of the car when you pick it up AND hand it in. 2. Take a photo of the person receiving the car and key with his thumb up and have him mark everything. 3. Make sure that they shred the credit the credit card authorization if possible and keep it together with the rentalpaper for at least 1 month. 4. Take a photo of the gasoline meter reading, with rental certificate next to it, when collecting AND handing in the car, (full, right yes) 5. Get 2 people to sign. They have no time for the customer, but for withdrawing a credit card and making a damage report without a date / time, names of appraiser or staff and signature of the tenant upon taking it. (who says that the photos are correct in terms of time and detail of the car, different from the rented one) So really nice on vacation so with Orlando Rent a Car, knowing that you must record everything in detail to capture solid evidence of a car drop-off in good condition - not leave earlier or they empty your credit card deposit for 1/2 or 2/3 empty with regard to something they can only think of. -NL- Van 13 t/m 20 december had ik een auto gehuurd bij Orlando Rent a Car - Fuerteventura Airport Lang verhaal kort: Auto netjes ingeleverd, alles was goed volgende de baliemedewerker, we konden in de shuttle terug naar het vliegveld nemen. Blijkt dezelfde dag meer dan 500,- van mijn credit card deposit afgehaald te zijn. Geheel ten onrechte, maar bewijs het maar en ga er maar achter aan vanuit hier. Mijn advies is, huur niet bij deze onbetrouwde club. Het klopt, het oogt zeer rommelig en onrustig bij aankomst op locatie. Wanneer dit toch je intentie is, doe dan het volgende om van alles bewijs te hebben: 1. Maak foto's van de buitenkant, binnenkant, banden met iemand van het personeel daar erbij. Vraag de naam en laat die persoon ook tekenen voor de staat van de auto bij ophalen EN inleveren. 2. Maak een foto van de persoon die de auto en sleutel in ontvangst neemt met zijn duim omhoog en laat hem alles aftekenen. 3. Zorg dat ze indien mogelijk de credit card autorisatie verscheuren en bewaar deze samen met de huurovereenkomst nog zeker 1 maand. 4. Maak een foto van de benzine meter stand, met huurbewijs er naast, bij ophalen EN inleveren van de auto, (full, right ja) 5. Laat het liefst 2 personen tekenen. Ze hebben nergens tijd voor richting de klant, maar voor het leeg trekken van een credit card en het maken van een schaderapport zonder datum/tijd, namen van taxateur of personeel en handtekening van de huurder bij inname. (wie zegt dat de foto's qua tijd en detail foto van de auto kloppen, anders dan zij zelf) Zo echt lekker op vakantie dus met Orlando Rent a Car, wetende dat je of alles tot in detail met vastleggen, met keihard bewijs van inlevering in goede staat - eerder niet vertrekken of ze credit card deposit voor 1/2 of 2/3 leeg trekken t.a.v. iets zij alleen maar kunnen bedenken.
