Very efficient service at the Playa Del Ingles office, both at pick-up on 8/7/2025 and return on 11/7/2025.No attempt to sell unwanted excess insurance, just an explanation of the choice I had to take it or not. I'm not entirely sure the car I was given was truly an equivalent of the VW Polo I booked although that didn't detract from excellent service otherwise.

Great experience

The lady at the front desk was very helpful, we got a c class car: toyota with 6gears. Well kept and clean. Air con and eveything was on point. No waiting when picking up, and legt the car outside theor office and delivered the keys;) I can recommend Orlando car rental via Bahia Feliz;)

Ik huurde een auto via DoYouSpain (DYS) in Playa del Ingles aan een promotioneel tarief bij Orlando. Bij afhaling waren de dames aan de balie zeer vriendelijk. De auto op zich was een wrak. Zeer oude Citroen C3 met heel veel kilometer op de teller. Motor gaf steeds een technische storing aan die moest hersteld worden. Volgens Orlando kon dat geen kwaad. Versnellingsbak was murw gereden. De bergen door in eerste en tweede versnelling is geen pretje. Op de autostrade kon geen snelheid gehaald worden. Auto was rondom beschadigd en het interieur was vies. Geen publiciteit noch voor Orlando, noch voor DYS. Neem geen verzekering bij DYS, Orlando biedt een gelijkaardige verzekering aan voor +/- dezelfde prijs en als je die neemt hoef je geen borg te stellen.

UNA AUTÉNTICA VERGÜENZA! Varios motivos por los que no alquilaría de nuevo aquí. Pedimos una silla de viaje para bebé, que por lo pronto nos cobraron prácticamente la mitad de lo que costó alquilar el coche durante 3 días. La silla está rota y no realiza su función de seguridad debidamente, lo notifiqué y me dijeron que no tenían más, pero lo peor de todo en este aspecto es que la silla me la dejaron en la carretera para que la montase yo, viendo que iba con un bebé, mi mujer muy embarazada y cargado de maletas. Un falta de hospitalidad y profesionalidad tremenda. Al montarme en el coche veo que el depósito no está lleno y le falta 1/4, y me hicieron firmar un depósito lleno para devolverlo lleno, lo notifiqué también por supuesto, y me ignoraron. El trato fue horroroso a la hora de gestionar estas discrepancias; no se preocuparon ni tampoco se hicieron cargo. Al montarnos al coche notamos que hay varias cosas rotas dentro del coche y me di media vuelta para notificarlas también, ya que no cogí el seguro a todo riesgo, y al no estar anotadas en el mapa de daños me dijeron textualmente: si quieres quedarte tranquilo contrata el seguro a todo riesgo, que supuso prácticamente la totalidad del alquiler del coche. En definitiva, el precio de esta empresa, que es lo más atractivo, se convierte en un engaño al tener que contratar el seguro, porque los coches están hechos una porquería y los extras, como por ejemplo silla de coche. NO LO RECOMIENDO EN ABSOLUTO. Ha sido un error por querer ahorrarme algún dinero, que me ha salido más caro y encima me llevo un sabor de boca muy muy agrio.

I have had an awful experience at the…

I have had an awful experience at the Gran Canaria office. Firstly they are not onsite and it takes 30mins to gather all the customers and take them to the office. In the small print of the documents it says you need a credit card not Amex or Visa Debit so i was forced to take the full insurance. When i questioned this and asked why they wouldnt accept my travel partners credit card the woman who served me was rude, abrupt and dismissive and essentially told me I should read the contract and to go away if i didn't have a credit card. The car we were eventually given is damaged, dirty and smelly with only 1/2 a tank of petrol . When the older male employee had to come to help me to start it he essentially threatened to take the car away telling me “its my car”and held the car door open refusing to let me leave while he yelled at me and told me off for not being polite enough to him. I had to ask him to leave me alone. Honestly the worst way to start a holiday, Awful employees, awful vehicle minus 100 for customer service. AVOID like the plague. Wish Id spent £100 more and gone with a reputable onsite company.

Very bad service

Very bad service. Paid for full insurance. While at the airpory to collect car, NO OFFICES AT AIRPORT. Had to wait a while until we were picked up to collect car at some off road somewhere. While at office, had to pay a deposit of 720 Euros. The car, little dingy thing, NEARLY, NEARLY let us down on way back to their offices. Never again.

AZ rental sucks

AZ rental sucks! I’ve rented cars for 30yrs an have never been delt the hand I was with them. Waited 45 mins for shuttle that never showed. Car was in parking garage B we were at A. Found the car after a 30min goose chase. It was a total POS. 77k an beat to hell. I told my wife I’m not driving this POS. They offered another car an it literally has sheet metal screws holding the bumper on with 87k but looked better. After 2hrs of BS an missed our appt I said let’s just go. Heading outta the parking garage I had to pay 19$ to get the POS off the property. I will never let my daughter book or wife book me a rental ever again. Window don’t work air sucks an feels like an 1880s chuck wagon rolling down the road. I’d rather wackoff with a handful of glass than to use this place ever again.

Attenzione a prenotare con loro

In aeroporto a las palmas abbiamo atteso 1 h per l’arrivo della navetta, tempi di disbrigo della prenotazione lunghissime in totale più di 2 h da quando siamo atterrati a quando abbiamo avuto l’auto. Al rientro stessa procedura attesa dello ahuttle aeroportuale per più di 45 min. Abbiamo quasi perso l’aereo. Esperienza da non ripetere!!!!! Auto vecchia e nessuna gentilezza da parte del personale

Bare perfekt

Bare perfekt, ingen overraskelser, som vi har prøvet en del gange med andre, vi lejede bilen i den by vi boede i på Grand Canaria og afleverede den i Lufthavnen, da vi skulle flyve hjem.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER - DEPOSIT NOT RETURNED

It is now 2 years later and my deposit is still not returned; they owe me 788 euros since November 2019. I have emails from the customer service in which they confirm their mistake and promises were made to make the payment in June 2020 by the customer service. But still nothing. I have contacted them about 30 times already (they responded 3 times), it is really the WORST company ever. Berit Boshuizen The Netherlands

Abysmal service from fraudulent…

Abysmal service from fraudulent company. Worst rental company I’ve ever used. Staff couldn’t care less if you have any issues, cars substandard, not based in airport, empty to empty is shysters way of doing business. Car wouldn’t start on day we were leaving. Couldn’t get hold of them. Ended up having to leave it at hotel and spend £50 on taxi so we didn’t miss flight. Left key with reception and informed company what had happened by email, as they never answer phone. Charged 500 euros to our card for ‘recovery’ You’ve been warned…

ACHTUNG BETRÜGER!!!!

ACHTUNG BETRÜGER!!!! Wir haben im September 2019 900€ Kaution für unseren Mietwagen hinterlegt und diese seitdem nie wieder gesehen. Auf Mails wird nicht geantwortet, am Telefon wird man nur abgebügelt (wenn überhaupt jemand rangeht). Check24 hilft nicht, weil sie nur der Vermittler sind (obwohl auf allen Unterlagen steht, dass man sich bei der Rückerstattung der Kaution keine Sorgen machen soll). Katastrophe! Niemals dort buchen!!

Orlando Rent a Car son impresentables y covardes

Cogimos un coche en la página web de Discovers Cars, que parece ser que nos tenía que proporcionar Orlando Rent a Car. Y Orlando Rent a Car no se presentó y nos quedamos sin coche ese diay el resto de días de nuestras vacaciones. Le hemos pedido que nos den por escrito lo que muy ligeramente nos dijeron al teléfono aquel día que llegamos al aeropuerto que ellos no habían recibido el aviso. Un mes y medio después no nos han enviado ninguna respuesta por escrito y nadie ha contactado con nosotros para tratar de darnos una explicación. Tampoco nos dan un teléfono para contactar con la central de reservas sólo email al que no contestan. Además si llamo con mi número me cortan la llamada, lo que no ocurre si llamo a continuación con otro número...y esto no me ha pasado una vez sino varias. Muy impresentables y muy covardes con los clientes a los que no les han ofrecido el servicio.
