I have had an awful experience at the Gran Canaria office. Firstly they are not onsite and it takes 30mins to gather all the customers and take them to the office. In the small print of the documents it says you need a credit card not Amex or Visa Debit so i was forced to take the full insurance. When i questioned this and asked why they wouldnt accept my travel partners credit card the woman who served me was rude, abrupt and dismissive and essentially told me I should read the contract and to go away if i didn't have a credit card. The car we were eventually given is damaged, dirty and smelly with only 1/2 a tank of petrol . When the older male employee had to come to help me to start it he essentially threatened to take the car away telling me “its my car”and held the car door open refusing to let me leave while he yelled at me and told me off for not being polite enough to him. I had to ask him to leave me alone. Honestly the worst way to start a holiday, Awful employees, awful vehicle minus 100 for customer service. AVOID like the plague. Wish Id spent £100 more and gone with a reputable onsite company.
