Bought herringbone carpet. Couldn’t get the same colour anywhere else. Any similar colours elsewhere were much dearer

Good quality carpet and underlay, great customer service agents. The only reason it’s not a 5 star review is because on delivery a roll of underlay was left on the truck, soon rectified by the excellent care team and delivered a couple of days later

Great website with a very wide choice of flooring. Easily navigated. Samples sent quickly which made it easy to finalise my choice. Prices were much lower than local carpet stores. Delivery was quick and problem free.

I ordered a carpet from OnlineCarpets and had it professionally fitted, only to find it was the wrong one. I contacted the company immediately and referenced my rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. They agreed to collect the wrong carpet and deliver the correct one. A week later, the driver arrived and refused to take the wrong carpet, insisting I had to wrap a 5 meter carpet myself in sellotape and bin bags as he stood and watched me struggle. I am physically unable to roll and package a 5-meter fitted carpet. The driver then left the with the correct carpet and took nothing away. I spoke to customer service and the manager insisted I was responsible for packaging, even though this was clearly a company error. I am now £300 down, plus £80 fitting fee, with a carpet stuck on my stairs that I cannot move. My son also can’t get into his bedroom as all my rooms stuff is in it. Avoid this company. Their handling of mistakes is poor, their customer service is unhelpful, and they fail to honour legal consumer rights.

Fantastic value, Delivery brilliant, overall fantastic

Delivery with this company needs to improve a lot. I purchased the flooring to do my entire house and was promised fast delivery, this took over a week to arrive, they claim orders are dispatched next working day but this is untrue. I was 1 pack short of finishing my whole house, when placing my order the cost of the pack of flooring was £17 and the delivery was £20, this is obviously ridiculous so i called them directly to see if i could come and collect the pack and was told no customers are allowed on site. I placed the order anyway expecting it to atleast arrive within a reasonable time, however 4 days later and im still waiting for this so called 'next working day dispatch'. As for the laminate flooring, whilst the good ones look quite nice many of the sheets were chipped and scratched which has ruined the overall aesthetic. Very disappointing experience and when it comes to decorating again i will be placing my order with a more reliable business even if it does cost slightly more.

I'd give zero stars if I could. I ordered a 6m long carpet and got a 5.95m at shortest edge and 5.97m at longest edge, it's cut squint, carpet. Apparently it's all covered by their T&C's (of course it is) and the 5cm is within the tolerance. This wasn't cheap, the carpet and underlay came to £615. The carpet fitter has kicked the living daylights out of it and hubby is going to have to put a piece of white beading at the skirting board where it's too short. So the moral of this story is order a good bit more than you need because you have no idea what is actually going to arrive or better still, just buy local and at least you someone to look in the eye when it goes wrong.

Wanted new lino for my shed, looked online and chose this company. Excellent delivery time and great lino. It looks lovely and neat in the new shed.
