Got a second hand EV through octopus with insurance and maintenance included which has taken a lot of the guess work out of the costs. Car was delivered within 3 weeks and im due to get my EV charge point in a weeks time. fast and efficient throughout!
Delivered wrong spec car, filthy, lied about spec, after a year agreed it was wrong car and agreed to reduce lease for value of £16 pcm Free 4000miles was only 150£ When car went back they try to recover 3k for minor ware and tare when all you have is five minutes with dirty car when you receive it. Also lied about range and delivery dates private and fleet managers avoid like the plague. Worse lease and car deal ever The final salary schemes even worse value. The five stars have either not returned their cars or are too naive to realise how much money they loss in their scheme. If you can’t buy cash or HP you don’t need AVOID AVOID AVOID at your own risk and loss
My company car had come up for change and this time my company went with Octopus Electric Vehicles. We knew what vehicle we wanted and Octopus helped us find the best price. I got involved after all the paperwork had been done. My contact was Harry Rutland. He kept me up to date each step of the way. When I asked about additional number plates for our bike carrier & trailer tent all the relevant information was sent without me having to chase. It was a very smooth process and I would recommend them if others are looking to lease electric vehicles.
Diabolical service and products. In their own admission the charger they supply has a bug and does not work with many cars, but they don't tell you this at the point of sale. We had an Audi Q4 for months that doesn't charge and they flat refuse to replace it or repair it - they just give us endless instructions on how to test the system, none of which succeed. They refuse to escalate the complaint and refuse to replace the car and charge. I have spent 3 months trying to get them to do something - they now say its the car they supplied that is the problem and I have to contact the manufacturer about the fault in charging - even though they supplied the car. the worst company I have ever dealt with
My "new" car was driven from Oxford to Newcastle for delivery. Delivery driver left some nice wrappers and crumbs in the car for me. It took 6 months to get a charger installed. 6 months having to pay 70p kwh to charge the car. When it came to booking a service, they really excelled. Between Teesside and Newcastle, they have 3 garages that can service MGs. Good luck with that. Emailed twice, no response. Tried to book online, next day offered a service 10 miles away 2 weeks later. No time slot. 9 a.m. drop off. No courtesy car. Cancelled this, tried to rebook. Booking stuck at "processing" for weeks on end. Getting emails confirming the original booking is still proceeding. Lead time for courtesy car service is three weeks. Courtesy car has to be insured by you, at your own cost. 3 day turn around between emails. No one actually reading emails. They promised to call me back, no one called. Tried to raise a complaint; this just ignored that and tried to fob me off. The Email title was "Complaint", and yet this failed to trigger their complaints procedure! Took a further 2 emails to get the complaint raised -- which they looked into and decided they weren't at fault, in less than a day. Lots of positive reviews - I'd note that they all seem to be on the "sales" side... Yes, the sign up was very easy. It's just the next few years you need to think about.
The experience with Octopus EV was so straightforward from start to finish with any questions and queries along the way answered quickly by Jack F. Even when the car was ready for delivery and I needed to delay delivery by a number of weeks it was not an issue.

Seamless, timely and enjoyable from start to finish. Communication was good, effort put in to keep me informed and the staff had an air of enthusiasm (which is like a breath of fresh air). The end products ( car and charger) are great too.
I had numerous issues getting my car, all of the dealers/manufacturers making. The guys at Octopus have been nothing but helpful all the way.

AMAZING from start to finish! From the first enquiry, nothing was too much trouble for Octopus. The Sales Team were on hand every step to guide important decisions and to keep me in the loop regarding progress. The turn around time from initial submission of my order to car arrival was 28 days, and it could have been quicker if I had wanted it to be! Once the order had been placed and confirmed, the third-party provider of the vehicle contacted me immediately, confirmed the details and booked in the delivery; Octopus also followed up shortly after to make sure I was happy and informed. Three days before arrival, both Octopus and the provider contacted me, took me through what would happen on the day and gave me useful advice when receiving the car, and gave me details should I not be happy! Needless to say, I was extremely happy, the car is AMAZING and arrived in superb condition, I also loved the addition of the Octopus Driver Pack full of little gadgets to help you on the way (my daughter loved the pink Octopus soft toy!). I've had the car just over a week now, and it is perfect. The EV Charger installation was quick and simple (completed by Octopus), and the installer ensured that everything was working perfectly before leaving my property. I must give a special mention to Ali (Operations Specialist) who supported my journey into my new EV every step of the way, nothing was too much trouble. And also to Luke (Charger Installer) who made the installation & integration process so simple! I love the car, I love the ease of transition, I love the support provided by Octopus, and I cannot wait to make full use of my new Polestar 4!!!! Thank you Octopus :)

I recently took delivery of a new vehicle through our company salary sacrifice scheme. Octopus have been fantastic from start to finish, the communication has been superb and they've answered all my questions quickly without fail. I've been genuinely impressed with the level of service provided and despite originally being fairly sceptical, the salary sacrifice deal that Octopus offers is brilliant.
