Excellent service throughout the process
The Octopus team have been brill from start to finish although still waiting for a refund and a charger to be fitted. The car was immaculate inside but had a few marks externally all of which have been recorded by the team. The tyres are looking like they may need changing and two of these as early as a couple of months time. Nicole at Octopus stated she would get onto the dealer regarding the marks and tyres. The dealer did not tell me they were delivering the car until on the day, this has been fed back and Octopus will address this with the dealer. If they are still doing lease in the future I will certainly remain with them.
Straight forward and incredibly easy process! From start to finish Amy kept me up to date and assisted with help and advice where needed.
I have recently leased an EV and switched our energy supplier to Octopus. You hear so many horror stories about how difficult the process is to switch with some companies, but Ben at Octopus has been so helpful and has made the whole process seamless. The support is incredibly responsive and I find I have all my queries have been sorted in a timely fashion. I would recommend Octopus and their staff.
From an initial call with John O'Mahony (that I nearly didn't join as I wasn't that interested until he talked me through the benefits of Salary Sacrifice), to Dan Stokes in the specialist team encouraging me to look at cars other than BMW (BYD was a genius suggestion) through to actually receiving the vehicle, the whole process has been managed wonderfully, in no small part down to Ellie Curran; her attention to detail, combined with genuine interest and enthusiasm, mean that I felt both informed and valued throughout the engagement. I would have no hesitation in recommending Octopus EV to others, particularly with Ellie as a point of contact (appreciate this is not necessarily practical, but she has been awesome!) Finally, Octopus' choice of partner to deliver the vehicle itself also deserve a mention; they kept Ellie informed of changing timelines as well as making me feel valued from first engagement through to delivery of the vehicle (Ray is a charming guy!)
Like any business, the quality of interaction with staff is crucial. I was fortunate to deal with Euan at Octopus, especially during a challenging time when I was looking for a car in stock due to my lease being up on another vehicle. Euan's support has been exceptional, going above and beyond his role. His outstanding service has been a reassurance in my car leasing journey. As part of my role, I manage a customer service team and use this example of customer care to illustrate what first-class customer service feels like. With Euan's exceptional service and Octopus's commitment to going the extra mile, I would recommend them in a heartbeat. You can be confident in your choice with Octopus and Euan.
Amy Yates provided a fantastic service. Communication was great without being pushy in terms of sales. She was thorough, knowledgeable and flexible. Large range of cars with reasonable delivery dates.
Dealing with Martin was key. He made the entire process very easy and seamless. He was a pleasure to deal with and extremely informative.
The online portal is good to show what is available and easy to navigate, but Martin reaching out to provide additional information and run through the scheme added so much more value than trying to make a decision based just off the material online. Would highly recommend talking to one of the Octopus advisors before making what is a significant decision. No pressure applied either to sign up, which is always a sign of quality service in my book.
What I thought could be a complicated process was actually very quick and efficient. The team at Octopus, especially Amy Y, who handled my case, was faultless. Keeping us updated and fully informed throughout. Perfection. Thank you
