    A great Customer Operations Specialist

    Michael Makinde my Customer Operations Specialist has been incredibly responsive and supportive since I joined this scheme a few months ago. I have had a few issues with my car as well as a particular issue that needed his support with talking to other teams internally. He has kept me in the loop as the matter progressed and part of the issue has been resolved successfully.

    Great install

    Excellent experience with Octopus, they charged a competitive price for a top install. Luke was super professional and neat with his work, polite and friendly did the work at a high standard, you can’t even tell the install was done. The lead time however is too long, some of the other suppliers offered a shorter wait but in the end it was worth i guess.

    Electric Vehicles - making the move made simple

    OctopusEV offered a wide range of electric vehicles on a variety of monthly tariffs and lease durations to suit your budget - some vehicles even come with a home charger. It’s a great way to try an EV without the upfront expense of buying a vehicle. Their staff are friendly and knowledgeable and always available to help you through the process. Debbie Atug helped me through the process. If you are an Octopus Energy customer, then you can take advantage of their Octopus EV tariff which is currently 6p per kWh between 11.30pm and 5.30am. An EV car achieve up to 4 miles per kilowatt - so 1.5p per mile driven. That’s £1.50 per 100 miles.

    My experience acquiring an EV from Octopus was truly outstanding. The Operations Specialist, Francis, was not only highly knowledgeable but also exceptionally courteous. His genuine commitment to providing support made the entire process smooth and stress-free. He confidently addressed all of my questions with clear, helpful information. Upon receiving the vehicle, it exceeded my expectations in every way. Additionally, the aftercare service has been both attentive and thorough, reflecting a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

    Considerable price increase and delayed communication

    I ordered a vehicle through a salary sacrifice scheme at work, with both myself and my employer signing the driver agreement. However, after three weeks of no communication, I was contacted and informed that the four-weekly cost had increased by over £80 - a rise of approximately 25%. While the agreement does state that prices may change before delivery due to circumstances outside of Octopus’s control, such a substantial increase was unexpected. I was later told the manufacturer had raised the price shortly after the agreement was signed, but it took nearly three weeks for this to be communicated to me. This delay has caused considerable inconvenience, as I now have to begin the process of finding a new vehicle again. When my employer followed up with our account manager, they were told that these price increases are becoming more common - and in some cases, can be as much as 50%. If you’re considering leasing a car through Octopus, I’d recommend being cautious, especially if you're on a tight budget or working to a specific timeline. I was disappointed by the lack of timely communication and the overall handling of the situation.

    Excellent service and prompt solution

    Excellent understanding and a prompt solution from Taylor D. at Octopus EV on an insurance matter that could have been made much more complicated than it needed to be for me. Nice to have fast access to a knowledgeable CS team in these days.

    Proactive, knowledgeable and friendly

    Both Andrew and Ali at Octopus took real care to help me get the vehicle I wanted and ensure any questions I had about my car were answered. They were proactive, knowledgeable and made everything easy!

    Great set-up experience

    Great set-up experience. The car did come with a fault but this was quickly resolved and the car was fixed and redelivered the following day. Samiha was very helpful in getting this resolved quickly

    Excellent service – fast and easy communication for Deaf people!

    Communicating with Amy was very easy and pleasant. We handled everything by email, which is very important for me.     An absolute pleasure from start to finish!

    From the very beginning of taking the first steps in my Electric Vehicle journey I was provided with very useful and informative advice which really helped me decide that now was the time to jump in to my first Electric Car - and what an absolute pleasure it has been!! I was assigned Colette as my EV Expert who helped guide me through any queries I had and who ultimately assisted with the final decision on which car and specification worked best for me. She was very patient as I changed my mind more than a dozen times!! Once the car was ordered I was then handed over to Angela who was my Customer Operations Specialist. Angela kept me updated throughout the entire process all the way through to delivery. Any issues were dealt with promptly and without fuss and she replied very quickly to any emails I sent. If you are considering Octopus Electric Vehicles then please don't hesitate. It has been a great, stress-free experience from start to finish! Thank you again!

    Octopus Salary Sacrifice scheme experience

    My company signed to the Octopus salary sacrifice scheme and whilst hesitant to change to an EV the team at Octopus talked me through it all very clearly and then process to get my car was extremely simple. A few minor delays to getting the sign up charging credit but all sorted now. Luckily I had Chanel Sinclair as my account handler and she was excellent and fast at solving any issues and answering various questions I had which was very much appreciated.
