Great care and Kindness
Just had minor surgery but would happily attend the Nuffield again for the care and kindness and professionalism shown to me on the day and also before whilst attending the clinic.

Ok that was my 4th visit and previous experience was mehh..not good but this time !!all is in the people on that day on the shift -Nurse Talia,Nurse Donna Govind I can only say i been in this hospital in regular basis past 2y but that is the first time i felt safe, listen, looked after . Special recognition to HCA Joanna and the pre op team is well. All from the morning till i was discharged i literally felt more like short spa break than in hospital, seriously all because of the nurses mentioned above and the rest of the team starting from doctors (Dr.Bhatia my consultant)ending on very attentive Catering team .Thank you so much for changing my opinion on the hospital
I recently had knee surgery and my stay at the hospital, my treatment and care was excellent. The staff were attentive, efficient and very caring. They treated me with utmost respect and dignity. The aftercare was also excellent, I wouldn't hesitate to go back to the Nuffield Staffordshire again A great big thank you to everyone.
We are members of the Warwick gym and we’re told that our membership gets us in in any Nuffield gym. This is not true. I was denied entrance at the Barbican gym, and it seemed that the ladies at reception there took particular enjoyment from not letting me through. I was nice and polite so there was no need for that, but there you go. These are first world problems but to pay for a membership then not to be able to use that membership is not cool. Update: Thank you the young gentleman who clarified things for me at the Warwick club. I wish I had the same treatment at the Barbican. I have changed my rating based on the club in Warwick and especially Matt who took the time to contact me personally.
1st class, professional, caring, cleanliness and welcoming team. Made me feel like I was at home. Highly recommend NHH Highgate
I have just had an ankle replacement . Which all went very smoothly. I would recommend the Nuffield to anyone who needs care and attention. All staff were charming and I felt confident with them all.
The gym at Five Ways is excellent. The staff are friendly, the facilities are spotless, the pool is a joy to swim in. Parking is easy. The gym is well maintained and there is always someone to help.I am doing their Joint Pain Programme and would recommend it.
I am a member of the gym in St Albans and honestly the service is bad every time something is not working and takes ages to fix it the funny thing is that the put the price up.
I regularly attend Nuffield gym in Hertford. On entering the centre you are always warmly welcomed by the cheerful reception staff who are always willing to help with any queries you may have. Today I had an issue that needed attention . I phoned and spoke to a really helpful member of the reception team called Donna. She Advised me to call into the centre to resolve my issue. She greeted me with a genuine smile and proceed to resolve my problem.with her knowledge and efficiency I was able to leave the centre a happy member of the Hertford Nuffield healthcare . Thank you.
Last week I had a Knee Replacement at the Leeds Hospital. From pre assessment to admittance and throughout my stay I was made to feel welcome and at ease and extremely well cared for by all members of the team. Nursing care was excellent. and the staff kept me in good spirits were very supportive ,and nothing was too much trouble. it’s a very clean and pleasant environment with a comfortable room, good food and great menu choices. Overall an excellent hospital. I Felt safe and comfortable at all times.
I am extremely disappointed with how I was treated by Friern Barnet Nuffield Health, particularly during and after my time on their Joint Pain Programme. After experiencing a medical flare-up that prevented me from attending, I was completely ignored by the programme lead Roshan Alexander from friern Barnet gym, despite promises to follow up. I was later forced to withdraw from the programme due to being overlooked and unfairly treated compared to other participants who were allowed absences without consequence. After submitting a formal complaint, I was assured by the general manager of Frien Barnet, handling my case that my personal data would be removed and that I would no longer receive communications from Nuffield. Despite this, I continued receiving emails, including one just days later directly from the team, proving that my request was not taken seriously. I was told a "do not contact" flag had been set, yet today I received yet another irrelevant mass email. It's clear there's no control or respect for personal data or customer communication preferences. Given this mishandling of my personal data and continued unwanted contact, I will be reporting the matter to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) for further investigation. The lack of professionalism, fairness, and accountability shown throughout has been appalling. I would not recommend Nuffield Health based on this experience. I previously reported these issues to head office but they ignored my complaints and failed to take any action or even acknowledge the seriousness of my experience. In reply to your response. Thank you for your response. I want to make it clear that I contacted Nuffield Health head office today and left my contact details , I now expect a phone call as a matter of urgency. I have now also submitted a formal complaint to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), as this issue has been repeatedly ignored despite my clear requests. Additionally, I believe my original complaint regarding the conduct of the Joint Pain Programme lead was never properly addressed by the Multi-Site General Manager of Friein Barnet. I have strong reason to believe the manager Dan I was corresponding with did not follow up on my concerns, nor did he speak to the individual involved, despite claiming otherwise. The way this has been handled, from the poor treatment I received to the mishandling of my personal data, is unacceptable and I will continue to pursue this until it is resolved appropriately. Update. After exhausting every internal route, I escalated my complaint directly to Nuffield Health’s CEO, Alex Perry. I sent the same email '3 times' forwarding all relevant correspondence and received no response whatsoever. This level of complete disregard from the organisation’s highest leadership is absolutely disgraceful. It is now painfully clear that Nuffield Health not only fails to address issues at a local or regional level but also shows 'utter indifference at the top' .If there are problems, especially where someone is treated unfairly or differently to others by a staff member, or mishandling of personal data, they 'will not' deal with it appropriately or professionally. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Nuffield Health to anyone. There is no real accountability, no meaningful complaint process, and absolutely no assurance that you’ll be treated fairly or respectfully when things go wrong.
Excellent professional staff caring & empathetic I could not fault the standards provided by the Hospital. I was kept informed throught my stay. i will add i rarely give exemplary reviews.
AVOID NUFFIELD WORCESTER LIMITED AIR CON. SEVERAL MACHINES ARE OUT OF USE. ON THE TREADMILLS EITHER THE FANS OR THE INCLINE DOESNT WORK. THE STAFF ARE SHOCKINGLY RUDE. WALKED IN TODAY, 3 STAFF WERE ON MAIN RECEPTION AND DIDNT ACKNOWLEDGE ME. AS I LEFT 2 WOMEN WERE ON RECEPTION, LOOKED STRAIGHT THROUGH ME AND COULDNT EVEN SAY GOODBYE. OH AND TO TOP IT OFF THE WATER MACHINE IS OUT OF USE.
I was working with Lakethan - he has been very helpful person and managed to resolve multiple issues. Very helpful guy!
I am a long-time member of the Kingston gym. Unfortunately, this gym is getting worse. Most of the workout machines and exercise equipment are quite old, sticky and not smooth. The gym is too crowded. ALL machines are in use. Too loud. Most of the classes are fully booked for 8 days in advance. No chance of getting a spot. The music is too loud. The staff who are working at the reception are mostly not welcoming. Sorry to say but there is one who is a nightmare. I don't know her name but she has a blond long bob and wears black reading glasses. She looks older than all of the others. Never coughed her with a smile. Always angry and stressed. A few weeks ago I was sitting in the waiting area. Waiting for my partner. This lady marched in and switched off the lights. Saying that the gym will close in 20 MINUTES. Me and 2 others, both quietly working on their laptops were left in the dark. Who does this? Would the gym’s insurance cover the cost if one of us fell and got an injury? I overheard several times this same lady arguing with other members. She needs to change her attitude or her job.
I was training at Nuffield Health Crawley (Crabbet Park as the other one shut). They increased the membership fees twice in 2024, despite many items of equipment being broken and also the car park being overcrowded due to central shutting. The class timetable changes regularly, which can be difficult when trying to join classes around work, family and other commitments. As soon as you get into a routine, they change the timetable again. Lastly, and most importantly, the manager, is incredibly rude and unprofessional. I tried to speak to head office about this, but was informed there is no longer a head office for the gym section (which I now am not sure is true). Most other staff are decent and just do their job, but the main manager has very poor management skills, which has also been mentioned to me by others who have used Nuffield Health Crawley.
I’ve been a member of Nuffield Health since 2022 and recently tried to cancel my membership due to relocating abroad. That’s where the real “member experience” began. Like many people, I wasn’t aware of the one-month notice clause until I went to cancel. Apparently, that’s on me—though oddly enough, the clause never comes up until you want to leave. I asked (very reasonably) if the notice could be waived as a gesture of goodwill, especially since I wouldn’t be using the gym at all. Instead, I was told I was on a 12-month contract (I wasn’t), ignored for over a week, and then spoken to rudely by management. When I followed up, I was met with robotic responses quoting policy as if that somehow resolved the lack of professionalism. After escalating to head office, I was told—again—that their staff “handled things appropriately.” If ignoring members, giving incorrect information, and dismissing valid concerns is considered appropriate, then maybe that tells you everything you need to know. I’ve paid the fee, not because I agreed with it, but because I didn’t want the hassle of debt collectors. But this experience has made it clear: Nuffield’s version of “wellbeing” only applies while your payments are coming in on time. The second you need support or flexibility, that wellbeing disappears fast. Would I return? Not a chance. Would I recommend it? Only if you never plan to cancel.
We had a commitment from staff members and the membership manager of a fixed rate gym membership for life following a Joint Pain Programme. Recently the gym went back on this and the monthly fee was increased by nearly 30%. We have had no joy from local staff, regional managers and head office. We are basically being called liars. Their customer management and complaints system is pitiful and being run by bullies who intimidate and lie. Shocking.
Nuffield Health Cheltenham - my husband had surgery there and they were brilliant. The hospital itself is spotless, the food freshly cooked, the staff so friendly. The procedure was efficient, they explained everything and it was seamless. Really helped make the whole thing less traumatic so a big thank you from us.
My appointment with the hospital senior physio was arranged quickly following a sports injury. From reception through to leaving with a rehabilitation plan, the attention I received was professional, detailed and caring.
