Brilliant from start to finish a three day stay for knee surgery. Couldn't be bettered in any way
On the 25th of june i sent an email to the xray and mri with my filled out form requesting my images. How is it possible that we are in mid july and i have not at all received anything? My consultation with the consultant was there and he had the mri scans. Very poor service. I went last year to Cleveland clinic and they gave them to me after 24 hours. I spoke to Heidi, director and i hope i receive my mri soon
Staff are always friendly in my local gym. However some of the equipment there is quite dated when it comes to cable machines, and so is often out of order. Free weights though, there is a lot of racks and a lot of choices. The pool is also good, but the roof tiles in the changing room showers are brown and need replacing. Yeovil Branch.
I was given a guide price of £4800 for upper And lower eye blepharoplasty which INCLUDED SURGEONS FEE. After I had the initial consultation with surgeon I was then given a quote of £6100 for upper eyes only ,I complained about the disparency in pricing structure only to be advised the guide price did not include surgeons fee,but it is clearly written on my original guide price that it does. I have complained to no avail and on deaf ears, the hospital refuse to accept my original quote includes surgeons fee even though it clearly states this, plus the fact that it's half the original amount of work. I have refused to pay the surgeons consultation fee of £260 as I would not have proceeded with that if I had been correctly informed initially,I have insisted the hospital pay otherwise take me to court. I went to signature clinic for procedure that was three times cheaper and a top level of service and care. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
I recently visited Nuffield Health Hospital and was very impressed with the overall experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, professional, and attentive. The hospital environment was clean, calm, and well-organized, which helped ease any anxiety I had. Appointments ran on time, and the administrative staff were efficient and helpful, making the whole experience smooth and stress-free. The aftercare and follow-up support were also excellent, showing a real commitment to patient wellbeing. Overall, I would highly recommend Nuffield Health Hospital to anyone seeking high-quality private healthcare. Their professionalism and patient-centred approach really stood out. Would like thank all nurseries and team who looked after me.
I as new to the area and it was recommended by a friend. Fantastic service from walking in to a warm welcome . Explained thoroughly and was even offered a tour. I think the lady was called Lisa. I will definitely be back as a member.
The joint pain experience with Harry Metcalfe and Lilly Fenner is excellent both going above and beyond for each of us individually and helping me to get my life back on track and my body into optimal condition so incredibly grateful to them both individually and as a team Thankyou guys 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Nuffield Health’s customer service is virtually non-existent. When you're ready to sign up and start paying, the staff at the gym are happy to help with everything. But the moment you want to cancel a membership, suddenly it’s not their job anymore — they just tell you to "visit the website." And what a website it is: deliberately designed to prevent you from reaching any actual support. You’re given the option to send a letter by post — seriously, in the 21st century, they expect you to send snail mail to cancel a gym membership. There’s also a phone number, but no one answers. I’ve been a member for over 10 years, and I recently signed up my daughter. Now, trying to cancel her membership has become a nightmare. I made it clear I was happy to pay all cancellation fees — I just wanted the process done. Instead, they started dragging me through unnecessary personal questions and pointless back-and-forth, clearly just trying to delay things so they can charge more weeks. It’s been weeks of trying to cancel, and the problem is still unresolved. It’s obvious they’re more interested in squeezing money from frustrated customers than offering any real support. As a long-standing member, I expected better. But Nuffield Health has made it clear that once you're in, they’ll make it as hard as possible to leave. Avoid this place unless you're 100% sure you'll never need to deal with their so-called customer service. What a disappointment.
I’ve been a member at Nuffield Chigwell, but today’s experience was absolutely unacceptable. The reception staff — and shockingly, the manager — were openly rude and dismissive to me in front of my child. As a paying member, I expected a minimum level of respect and professionalism, but instead was met with hostility and condescension for no valid reason. This kind of behavior is disgraceful, especially from management, and reflects extremely poorly on the gym’s values and customer service standards. If you value being treated with basic human decency, especially around your family, I strongly advise reconsidering this location. Completely unprofessional.
I lived the routine of going to the gym. All the classes were relevant and enjoyable. I also liked the sessions discussing healthy living. one of the best parts was exercising with others in the same situation.
I was greeted by a beautiful staff called Emily she welcomed me and showed me the facility and was very kind and helpful and responded to every question I had, I really enjoyed the gym and the swimming I will definitely be going back and I recommend this experience to everyone looking for a gym that has a swimming people with great staff.
Friendly staff, welcoming, well equipped gym. Love the pool and steam/sauna room. Local to me with extensive parking.
The joint care programme run by Joe Newton at the Rugby branch has been outstanding. A real life changing experience Such expertise and professionalism 100% recommend I will defiantly join full time at the end of the programme Thank you
Medical treatment was very good and the medical staff gave good support and communication. Admin is not up to a standard that would be acceptable from any business, in particular: I am angry that I was only told the full cost of my treatment at a late stage, in the admisson letter. I was incorrectly told that I needed a GP referral letter. Waste of my time and GP time. I was initially offered an assessment with a consultant who no longer carries out the necessary procedure. Fortunately, I knew this so asked to see a different consultant to avoid wasting 1/2 day on a visit to your hospital. Communication issues may be due to separation of Nuffield Health and The Eye Unit but that should not be my problem.
Leah on reception is absolutely lovely. So friendly and helpful!!
Whilst the gym itself is fantastic and worthy of a 5* rating, the physio service is poor. Having tried to book appointments on two separate occasions as a first time user of the physio service, both times my appointments have been cancelled on the day itself both due to sickness. Whilst I appreciate that everyone gets ill, the fact that this has happened twice, no alternative physio being available and the next available appointment isn't soon, is the problem. I will get another refund and find an alternative.
I love going to Nuffield I go to swim from Monday to Thursday. I don't do the classes as I get enough out of swimming & I have enjoyed going for the last 11yrs I was really disappointed when the jacuzzi closed. The staff are wonderful everyone of them. Vee has done an amazing job bringing the Cafe back how it used to be nearly. She has great idea's for the Cafe trying different ideas. She has been like a breathe of fresh air, having said that, Alison, Abbey, Liz and the others are so helpful and really friendly. Now the club is on with new showers in the men's & ladies.
I love the classes at Nuffield Fulham, although you need to book as they're very popular and can be busy. There's a good mix of classes including yoga, body-pump and fun aerobic classes. The instructors are high quality and there's a really lovely community of people who frequent the gym, some like me - for many many years!
Asked for a high-level quote for treatment. I made three separate enquiries via their website over five days, but nobody from Nuffield Health has contacted me about pricing or the process. Meanwhile, I received four marketing emails, so clearly they’re able to reach out when they want to. This experience gives a clear impression of how much Nuffield Health values prospective patients—not just their money. If you expect responsive customer service from a private healthcare provider, be aware that you may be disappointed.
From my first consultation with my surgeon through to discharge post surgery, my care has been exemplary. I have a severe allergy, and the research, time and effort that was put into accommodating me and making everything safe whilst I was a patient was second to none. My care was phenomenal, attention to detail first class and not a grumpy face anywhere in the hospital. My entire patient journey made me feel very privileged to have experienced care of such a high standard. I felt totally secure in the hands of the Nuffield Hospital, Taunton and could not recommend it highly enough, for peace of mind at every level. Well done Nuffield!
