It used to be the place to go. My husband and I have been members for nearly 10 years but now considering switching gyms. The facilities and equipment at Nuffield are no longer up to standard. Many of the machines are outdated or non-functional and clearly in need of replacement. Additionally, I encountered an issue with my personal training package recently, after my PT left unexpectedly without notice, I lost all of my remaining sessions. I was told this was due to them expiring within a certain timeframe, something my PT never mentioned, which feels quite unfair. Daylight robbery. Stay away.

Excellent from start to finish. Staff all attentive and knowledgeable from surgeons to jolly porters.

My husband has alzheimers and I stayed with him the whole time, given a room and meals. He was treated with care and respect. This helped make a difficult time a lot easier for us both. Thankyou.

Ridiculous experience at this gym, irene the manager is extremely rude, dont allow use of the studio even though it is completely free, when using the studio to record myself for technique purposes she said i was not allowed to as there will be people in the background even though it was just me? and members arent allowed apparently even though plenty of people record all the time. Extremely disappointing experience to get kicked out of the gym for recording a video! Will never be back and never reccomend the gym to anyone. Always heard bad things about the place but never believed them i.e prices going up, machines not working, rude staff. Disgusting behaviour from the manager.

I have had several proceedures carried out by Nuffield at the Vale hospital and Cardiff Bay hospital. I have always recieved accurate diagnosis, excellent treatment from the consultants I have seen and they have always rectified my conditions I had. All the staff from the consultants to the cleaners are always so friendly, helpful,and can never do enough for you. I can 100% recommend Nuffield Vale and Cardiff Bay hospitals .

When looking for a consultant I visited the Nuffield Health website to gain an insight into the various Consultants portfolios and charges. The charges quoted on the website were not accurate and what I was charged on the evening of the appointment. I raised my grievance as to why I was charged almost £100 more. The complaint was acknowledged and a refund agreed. This was two months ago and I still have not received the refund.

I wouldn't bother spending your money with the Nuffield Birmingham Central branch. I have invested in most activities on offer and the gossiping amongst some staff members is ridiculous and very unprofessional. I have paid for the swimming sessions, which I would never ever recommend to anyone, as the swimming manager Paula is an absolute joke and if you don't mind the maintenance man carrying out your swimming training, then go ahead!

I had informed the club of my intention to freeze my menbership on two occasions via email dated 13th and 15th May 2025.I also tried to call the club several times in between those dates but was unable to connect as the contact no provided had one digit missing in the email signature for the membership accounts team, I did mention this in my previous email but did not receive any response nor acknowledgement whatsoever. I opted for Pay as you go option because it gave me that flexibility inspite of it being costlier than normal membership. Where is the flexibility here Nuffield??? Stop penalising paying members, its so wrong. Inspite of my efforts to give advance notice to my surprise the membership fee was taken from my account by Nuffield Norbury. This action by Nuffield is not only unexpected but also totally unacceptable and breaches basic consumer rights and fair billing practises. Seeking a full refund and explanation from Nuffield

Review mainly related to East Didsbury, Manchester branch. Used to be good, now seriously declining. One star. I've been a member here for more than 2 years and have watched this place go downhill. They raise the prices every year, but the facility is falling apart. Hygiene is a major issue: The showers consistently smell bad, and the general cleanliness around the gym is poor (check my photos on Google reviews). Constant maintenance problems: The steam room is broken more often than it works (at least once a month). The men's changing room is also frequently closed for repairs. There's a noticeable leak in the roof that hasn't been fixed. Pool & Steam room have been closed for over 2 months! however no attempt to compensate the users! Recent Incidents: * December 22nd: The pool was closed in the morning because the lifeguard didn't come to work! Unacceptable. * December 23rd: The website says they're open regular hours today, but they just told me they're closing early at 8 pm. This is misleading and inconvenient. Bottom line: This gym is not worth the money anymore. Management needs to seriously address the hygiene, maintenance, and staffing issues. Cancelled my membership today.

I underwent a full knee replacement on the 14th of May 2025 at Woking Nutfield Hospital,Paul Trickher was my consultant. My two days stay was amazing. The staff were so polite courteous helpful. I was up walking on the same day.On the 17th 18th of May I was walking unaided without any crutches. This is thanks to the skill of my surgeon Mr Trickher and his team who visited me after my op and were so attentive and caring offering advice on how to go forward with my new knee. I cannot praise Nuffield Hospital enough for what they have done for me amazing staff and amazing people.

The hospital was really clean,you didn't feel like you were in 1 but the staff were amazing, made you feel special and confident and very relaxed about actually being there

If it wasn't for my little nephew keeps asking about the bags under my eyes (need fluid release) I'd give up with Nuffield Health. I've given up waiting for a call back that I was told I'd receive after a sales person who finally called me following a query, sorry, a repeated query, about the procedure had no information about it!!! like the range for costs and recovery period

On speaking to Dan the manager at Nuffield gym in Harrogate he was polite, very helpful and reassuring. I was hoping to encourage my daughter to attend the gym and swimming there. This was going to be a challenge after unpleasant experiences at other gyms in the area my daughter was apprehensive and nervous. We started to attend the Harrogate gym and gradually she has became more confident in herself and the gym. I would like to praise Dan and his team for their politeness and professionalism. Trevor on the cafe for the kindness he has shown to us both. Angela and her swimming team for their care and understanding. It is not often these days to find somewhere especially as women that is so well organised welcoming. Well done to all the staff at Harrogate.

This programme was really worthwhile. It is brilliant at getting you moving and feeling good about yourself. It should be offered to everyone as they get older to get them moving easier and increasing there confidence.

I went for an Outpatient Appointment today. The Consultant was very professional. However the atmosphere was unfriendly and the Sister who showed me to the Consultants room was unfriendly. She dashed done the corridor talking to someone else. She did not use my correct name Not The receptionist was was also rather unwelcoming to the point of being curt. Not a great experience.

I have just completed a 12 week JPP with Julia, Rehabilitation Specialist & can honestly say I feel so much better. I have less musculoskeletal pain, feel stronger, more motivated. With the benefit of the weekly class videos I would be more disciplined to continue to exercise. A knowledgeable instructor & a credit to NHJPP
