Long-Time Member, Deeply Let Down
Nuffield Health’s customer service is virtually non-existent. When you're ready to sign up and start paying, the staff at the gym are happy to help with everything. But the moment you want to cancel a membership, suddenly it’s not their job anymore — they just tell you to "visit the website." And what a website it is: deliberately designed to prevent you from reaching any actual support. You’re given the option to send a letter by post — seriously, in the 21st century, they expect you to send snail mail to cancel a gym membership. There’s also a phone number, but no one answers. I’ve been a member for over 10 years, and I recently signed up my daughter. Now, trying to cancel her membership has become a nightmare. I made it clear I was happy to pay all cancellation fees — I just wanted the process done. Instead, they started dragging me through unnecessary personal questions and pointless back-and-forth, clearly just trying to delay things so they can charge more weeks. It’s been weeks of trying to cancel, and the problem is still unresolved. It’s obvious they’re more interested in squeezing money from frustrated customers than offering any real support. As a long-standing member, I expected better. But Nuffield Health has made it clear that once you're in, they’ll make it as hard as possible to leave. Avoid this place unless you're 100% sure you'll never need to deal with their so-called customer service. What a disappointment.
