I’ve had a very poor experience

I’ve had a very poor experience with Newton Property Services overall. From the outset, there has been consistent miscommunication, and their limited opening hours have only made things more frustrating. Multiple emails have gone unanswered, which is incredibly disappointing when you’re trying to get support or clarity on an issue. On top of that, I find their pricing to be significantly overpriced for the quality of service they provide. Aside from one standout – Lewis Gardiner, who has been excellent to deal with and is a real credit to the company – my interactions with other staff have unfortunately been quite rude and unhelpful. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Newton Property Services.

ABERDEEN - AVOID!!

AVOID this terrible company. Happy to take money from customers but not provide a basic service. We are meant to have monthly communal cleaning (which we pay for) and it stopped without any information over 6/7 months ago. We have been chasing this up with them for almost 4 months with no luck, no urgency and no care. Waste of time and energy. Aberdeen - take your business elsewhere.

Robert Gilfillan sorted a long an…

Robert Gilfillan sorted a long an ongoing issue for over a year, several account managers failed to sort this, Robert went above and beyond to sort this even when trying to get the managers to respond, he effectively done their job for them as the failed to sort even after his intervention to them, whom are not worth the wages they are paid, giving that it has taken 3 different managers to try sort none of them where up to the task which just aggravated the whole issue because charges where building up. Robert ended up sorting the whole issue out on his own and put correct the right charges that was supposed to be charged. Managers where useless, empty promises, no reply, no return phone calls. But Robert sorted and putting them all to shame.

Kate feedback

Since Kate has taken on responsibility for our block I have found her very friendly and approachable. She has responded to my emails I’ve sent, both through the common email address and her direct email, in a very timely fashion. Recently following up one of my emails with a phone call and then by email when the phone call failed due to a poor signal at my phone. She’s also made a point of encouraging use of her direct email. I am very keen on keeping my block to its highest standard and ensuring we get best value for any work being carried out on the building. So some of my questions are related to the background on how decisions are made. These questions are always answered swiftly and support the decisions being made. In these answers I’ve noted that Kate is not afraid to follow up and sensibly increase the scope of works when it is efficient to do so. I am very reassured that safety and security issues in the block are always treated with a high priority by Kate, by ensuring contractors attend or are booked to repair damage or failures as soon as they’re reported.
