No even think of changing your provider to this

I port-in from 48 to this because I thought i the offer they had was better, the port-in never happened i called them approximately 20 times in 5 days, wrote emails and the never provided me a solution they just stated “they cannot do anything but follow up” AWFUL SERVICE, do not even think to change your provider to this. Highly not recommended it

Very Disappointed – No Service Abroad After Network Update

I'm very disappointed with Lycamobile Ireland. I'm currently on holiday abroad and my phone number has completely stopped working. I have no internet access, can’t make calls, and can’t send or receive texts. Before the recent network update, I never had any issues using my phone abroad – it always worked smoothly. Now I feel completely disconnected, and it’s frustrating and even unsafe not being able to contact anyone. There was no proper warning or help from Lyca, and I still don’t know what I need to do to fix this. I’m also unsure whether the service will automatically start working again once I return to Ireland. Poor service and lack of support. I expected better.

Extremely Disappointed After Recent Upgrade

After the recent upgrade, my mobile service has become almost unusable. I barely have internet access—around 90% of the time it's either extremely slow or completely unavailable. Before the upgrade, everything was working fine. On top of that, I sometimes don’t receive calls at all. Instead, I get a message saying I missed a call, even though my phone never rang. This is extremely frustrating, especially when expecting important calls. I emailed Lycamobile customer service two weeks ago, but haven’t received any response. The lack of support is unacceptable. Overall, the service has significantly declined since the upgrade, and it’s causing real inconvenience. I hope these issues are addressed urgently.

unreliable with little to no customer service

I have had recurring issues with Lyca for almost a year now. After the activation process didn´t work and I contacted them via phone (do expect to wait a solid 30min to get through to someone that may or may not be able to help you) they managed to at least get my plan up and running. However since then I have on multiple occasions lost complete connection (signal/internet etc.) for up to 48h in a row. My phone either shows "no sim" or "no signal" and no restart, turning the eSIM on/off or flight mode has helped. I have again tried to call to resolve this to no avail. This is my final straw and I will change provider now.

Was their customer for 8 years

Was their customer for 8 years, only to then be treated like dog shit, ignored, not answering customer service calls, emails and then also would not let me top up my card to use it! The service went worse and worse as they went on.

Still No Refund for Disconnected Service – Very Disappointed (Ticket #105843440)

I requested a refund after my Lycamobile connection failed and got disconnected without working properly. I raised a support ticket (#105843440) on March 10, 2025 and followed up several times, but I’ve received no proper response or resolution. It’s extremely frustrating trying to get a simple refund for a service that never worked. The customer support team either ignores the issue or gives copy-paste replies with no action taken. This experience has been a huge letdown. I expected at least basic accountability, but clearly Lycamobile doesn’t prioritize customer issues once they have your money. I won’t be using Lycamobile again unless they sort this out and take customer concerns seriously. I strongly urge new users to be cautious. Once Lycamobile has your money, don’t expect efficient support or any urgency in resolving issues. Based on my experience, they will stall as long as possible in the hope that you’ll give up. This behavior is not just bad customer service — it borders on unethical business practice. To Lycamobile: If you see this review, take some accountability. Look into ticket #105843440 and do the right thing. No one should have to chase a company for over a month just to get their own money back.

Totally scammed by this company and robbed out of 20 euro

So so angry bought a Pay as you go sim with 10 euro credit. 20 euro in total… Money taken from my account. I tried to get in contact with them through online chat and email to tell them that the eircode they put on my address was wrong and to correct it. No reply and the online robot chat function was useless and no help! I am beyond angry…will have to now go into my bank and try get the charge reversed as I never received what I payed for and was never contacted back so essentially money was taken off me fraudulently…I want a refund! Am going to go with Vodafone…sort yourselves out!!

I am very disappointed since last week

I am very disappointed since last week. The internet is very slow. I have called severally, they say I have spent 100 GB in 3 Days. I don't think I have used all that data since the renewal on Wed last week. So, I have no idea what's happening with Lycamobile. I have used it for the last 2 years and has been good until last week. I use Go unlimited plan, but is no longer unlimited.

I was scammed out of 40 euros

I was scammed out of 40 euros. I activated a 20 euro package that didn't work. Then I activated another 20 euro package, but it didn't work either. In the end, they scammed me out of 40 euros. But I couldn't go any longer without an internet connection, as no one answered me or helped me with the problem. It was a real scam.

Worst network I have experienced always catch you every time you need to renew your offer.cant top up your offer on your lycra account.i have lost money several times already.need to improve the network if they want new customers.i moving to a better network. Don’t waste your time

Don’t waste your time! It’s been 4 days now that I have been trying to port my number to Lyca. Customer Service is just useless! They only give general recommendations and all they want is clearly for you to turn off the call and deal with the next agent. Don’t care about customers at all. Most of the time they are even ironic showing their disregard to customers. If my problem is not resolved 24h I hope to receive a full refund.
