No even think of changing your provider to this

I port-in from 48 to this because I thought i the offer they had was better, the port-in never happened i called them approximately 20 times in 5 days, wrote emails and the never provided me a solution they just stated “they cannot do anything but follow up” AWFUL SERVICE, do not even think to change your provider to this. Highly not recommended it

Very Disappointed – No Service Abroad After Network Update

I'm very disappointed with Lycamobile Ireland. I'm currently on holiday abroad and my phone number has completely stopped working. I have no internet access, can’t make calls, and can’t send or receive texts. Before the recent network update, I never had any issues using my phone abroad – it always worked smoothly. Now I feel completely disconnected, and it’s frustrating and even unsafe not being able to contact anyone. There was no proper warning or help from Lyca, and I still don’t know what I need to do to fix this. I’m also unsure whether the service will automatically start working again once I return to Ireland. Poor service and lack of support. I expected better.

Extremely Disappointed After Recent Upgrade

After the recent upgrade, my mobile service has become almost unusable. I barely have internet access—around 90% of the time it's either extremely slow or completely unavailable. Before the upgrade, everything was working fine. On top of that, I sometimes don’t receive calls at all. Instead, I get a message saying I missed a call, even though my phone never rang. This is extremely frustrating, especially when expecting important calls. I emailed Lycamobile customer service two weeks ago, but haven’t received any response. The lack of support is unacceptable. Overall, the service has significantly declined since the upgrade, and it’s causing real inconvenience. I hope these issues are addressed urgently.

unreliable with little to no customer service

I have had recurring issues with Lyca for almost a year now. After the activation process didn´t work and I contacted them via phone (do expect to wait a solid 30min to get through to someone that may or may not be able to help you) they managed to at least get my plan up and running. However since then I have on multiple occasions lost complete connection (signal/internet etc.) for up to 48h in a row. My phone either shows "no sim" or "no signal" and no restart, turning the eSIM on/off or flight mode has helped. I have again tried to call to resolve this to no avail. This is my final straw and I will change provider now.

Blood boiling hold music

They will leave you on hold for hours. Some bloke on the train blasted your maddening blood boiling hold music for over an hour while waiting for your service

Wonderful Customer Call centre experience

I have had lyca mobile for a lot of years. I was even a user of this product back right from Italy and I cannot say that I have had a more pleasant and delightful experience than today. I called the customer call centre over an issue with my top up bundle and the caller John was very nice and happy to help and assist me. He kindly directed me and explained to me with ease the problem I was facing as well as speedily provided a solution that satisfied my needs. This was my first ever good call experience contacting lyca mobile IE. Thanks John for your service.

I have been a loyal customer of Lyca mobile ie, even when I move to the uk I still kept my Lyca mobile ie and still use Lyca mobile U.K. i use the both sim to still keep me using Lyca mobile, today I called to get my old phone number on my Irish number cos I could not find my Irish SIM card, agent went through verification and said my information is false mind you even online information is thesame with what I provided the agent I made them understand I’m using thesame email address they have verified me and agent called Carl said he cannot help and Lyca mobile staff don’t give their surname. Well Lyca this may be the last with you guys, if I don’t get this resolved and your agent looked into I’m leaving you guys this week.. I have had enough of you.

Mobile Top Up Issues

Let's start with what I liked. The rep that I had helping me, Anna C., was very helpful and patient with my constant emails when going through this issue, and I was truly grateful for the help she provided, as eventually she was able to help me top up my credit. Now onto what I disliked. I find that whether I top up my phone with a physical voucher or online using the LycaMobile website, I am having constant and consistent issues with the top-up not working. I'm not sure if this is due to my SIM being old or if the top-up system itself is defective, but I find that it is quite tiresome to constantly have to contact customer service every time this sort of thing happens. Until a sound solution can be found, I see myself remaining unhappy with this network service provider.

Terrible terrible service

Terrible terrible service! Whatever you do, do not buy lycamobile sim. They have terrible service. They keep taking money out of my account. I tried removing my card and cancelling it but it won’t successfully do it. I have called and emailed multiple times and still I have been charged again 2nd month in a row. They keep telling me I will be refunded but I still haven’t been. HORRIBLE COMPANY! More details: I have provided my number and email so you can check on the system. I have emailed you a couple times regarding this issue and still it hasn’t been resolved. I attempted to delete my card details on the system twice and it kept showing an error message. Then I tried to cancel the auto renewal too and it just won’t cancel. I want my refund back for 2 months asap please !!!!
