deplorable treatment by Fraud team, verifying a transaction asking me my mothers milk, at some point the woman on the phone says, may be you are a fraudster, unacceptable treatment of clients, I hang up after 25 min of nonsense, they blocked my account prior to a trip of mine abroad leaving me stranded, went to unblock it after my return, was told they were closing the account in a month, no explanation, never received a letter to that effect, they told me they would resend the letter, two weeks later still no letter!!!! wtf guys, are you a bank or what

0% balance transfer why would you do that

Offered me a 0% balance transfer, then suspended my account because I tried to do a balance transfer! I spent 30 minutes on the phone trying to find out what was happening and how to sort it. I now have to find a branch that hasn’t closed down to answer some questions about why I wanted to transfer a balance. I’ll have to take time off work and they just don’t give two sh**s.

Useless fraud department

Wouldnt help me after i got my money stolen and took 3-6 hours at a time to respond, so even though i started a conversation at 6am it still hadent been sorted by 9pm then they decided to cut me off. And left me on seen constantly for like an hour. Assholes

I've been a customer for 25 plus years the only time I've needed help from them with a fraud case and they gave the fraudsters their money! Avoid lloyds like the plague!

I thought banks were there to SERVE- not to make life impossible!

Not worth the one star. Condescending patronising arrogant staff. I wanted to transfer some of My money to another account. They accused me of fraud, eventually told sorted at least 3 times. Each time I tried again it froze my account . Now told to go to my local branch which I cannot for 2 months which has closed down anyway which is going to cause considerably hardship as I cannot access funds. Date of experience the whole week up to 21/9 and several Hours on phone from there they could not be bothered and told to go to branch

do NOT bank with Lloyds

1st - why have an automated telephone menu system that forces you answer a lot of questions only to say that customer service is only available 8am-6pm = start with that instead so the customer can hang up immediately 2nd - why close branches and have everyone do internet when you don't support internet banking 24/7 3rd - the automate systems/internet banking absolutely sucks as it does NOT fully support international mobile numbers or international trnsactions

I dread any contact with lloyds

I dread any contact with lloyds. It's depressing dealing with their phone handlers. Hopeless useless customer service. It's like hitting a dead end and finding your only exit has been blocked by the AI bot ticking boxes who is totally oblivious to what you have requested. Grrrrrrrrr!

I was a victim of a scam and told…

I was a victim of a scam and told llyods about this. The person who dealt with this was very abrupt and had no sympathy at all. I lost around 2000 pounds of my money due to fhis scam. I complained again and said they would get back to me by the weekend and no one has. I received 50 pounds in my bank. I beleive that thats a goodwill gesture and i will not receive any help. My bank is meant to help me in situations like this, i felt like i was just another number that they deal with on a daily basis. I have had no communication by email, letter or phone to let me know what the outcome was. It has now been 3 months since it happened. This has made my mental health worse because of all the money worries. Now i have to pay all the money back from scammers that prayed on me when i was vulnerable and put me in a bad place, now also my own bank. Very unhappy.

Get away from Lloyds

Get away from Lloyds, they will frequently block your payments out of blue and ask you to go branch, and the customer service is unbelievably unprofessional, having a temper while no clue how to solve the problem.

Absolutely awful

Absolutely awful. Spent 3 hours trying to login to online banking. My password and user ID were saved in Samsung pass yet it would not allow access. After trying to contact them on phone the adviser cut the call off after waiting 45 mins to get through. Exhausted all the online Lloyds advise. Stored contact numbers on account didnot belong to me. Kept requesting I call. Still calling Day 2 and still not resolved. I will be closing my account with them. Appalling

Appalling customer service at your…

Appalling customer service at your bradford branch. Came in with required I'd to open a account only to be refused it because although your website says blue badge... they wouldn't accept it. Also wouldn't accept a digital copy of a tenancy agreement. Or were willing to download this either. Its 2024 digital is what most things are now 😤
