deplorable treatment by Fraud team

deplorable treatment by Fraud team, verifying a transaction asking me my mothers milk, at some point the woman on the phone says, may be you are a fraudster, unacceptable treatment of clients, I hang up after 25 min of nonsense, they blocked my account prior to a trip of mine abroad leaving me stranded, went to unblock it after my return, was told they were closing the account in a month, no explanation, never received a letter to that effect, they told me they would resend the letter, two weeks later still no letter!!!! wtf guys, are you a bank or what

0% balance transfer why would you do that

Offered me a 0% balance transfer, then suspended my account because I tried to do a balance transfer! I spent 30 minutes on the phone trying to find out what was happening and how to sort it. I now have to find a branch that hasn’t closed down to answer some questions about why I wanted to transfer a balance. I’ll have to take time off work and they just don’t give two sh**s.

Useless fraud department

Wouldnt help me after i got my money stolen and took 3-6 hours at a time to respond, so even though i started a conversation at 6am it still hadent been sorted by 9pm then they decided to cut me off. And left me on seen constantly for like an hour. Assholes

I've been a customer for 25 plus years the only time I've needed help from them with a fraud case and they gave the fraudsters their money! Avoid lloyds like the plague!

Fraud reporting by client but bank doesn’t want to listen and provide any help

The bank didn’t recognize my reported fraud transactions in 13-15 September through my app which is unauthorized by myself taken from my Lloyds bank account. Compliance and fraud team members seems didn’t want to help and investigate once they think it’s right. Still having suspicious transactions coming in and out, and I went to Preston branch last Friday afternoon to ask staff for assistance, but they said it’s nothing they can do as I have already asked them to replace my debit card since I recognised the fraud transactions in my account. They are not polite and not showing respect to clients which they claimed to client that if they are feeling not safe, they can switch bank anytime. Trustpilot once trying to remove my comments before without my consent and any prior investigation, sad to this website as well.

PIN muckabout

I took over a business account on 10 September. Here I am having to chase Lloyds for access to the online account and PIN and being told oh we had a problem with issuing a batch of those a few weeks back. Over 30 minutes on the phone chasing my tail today. Seriously unimpressed! Now here I am in November and having the same problems all over again!

5+ visits to local branch to open a bank account

Once I had to open a bank account. Applied online, was asked to visit the local branch to submit documents. It turns out the local branch is real hell. First you have to wait for over 30 minutes and then their employees mess up with the documents and it never reaches its destination. Multiple calls, 5+ visits and then they manage to sort everything out. Guess what! They shut down that local branch a few months later. Seriously? Do you even live in a developed country?

Really gone downhill recently

Really gone downhill recently. Have banked with Lloyds for over 30 years, not really had any problems until the last few years. All the branches around here have closed, nearest now is 14 miles away. Had problems transferring money, out of my account, to my other savings accounts with other banks. First one usually ok but if l try again, it is blocked. Each time l ring up it takes 1 hour to sort out, waiting, clearing security questions, there are so many now, it is not just a few. Agent was quite rude the last time. First time it took 3 different agents to resolve one transfer, said it was a system problem. I'm considering moving my account, to a different bank, as it is not fit for purpose. I don't need all this hassle and stupid questions by rude staff. Other banks get far better reviews, some pay interest as well. Lloyds instant access savings accounts pay next to nothing, some others pay almost 5%. Also all the benefits such travel insurance, you now need to pay over £20 pm, before it was free.

Market Harborough branch

Rude customer service from the male staff today (Market harborough branch). My suggestion to the guy: if you have a problem with working on Saturdays or for any other reason, look for another job. Your attitude is appalling and rude in your english way

Having recently been widowed and needing help and advice from Lloyds, Alison Riley from the Long Eaton Branch has been an absolute star, from sorting my account from joint into a single account and giving helpful advice it has been so wonderful to be able to sort this face to face. I would not hesitate in recommending the staff and service from this branch of Lloyds to anyone. Please keep these branches open as they are an absolute godsend.
