Disappointing

Disappointing. Tried on two separate evenings to contact Room Service and, failing that, Reception from room phone. No answer on either occasion. The room was up a flight of 10 stairs. I was not made aware of possible accessibility issues before arrival and found this challenging which for a "superior" room is not good enough. I had difficulty finding help with my case and struggled with the stairs. Having said that the staff with whom I interacted were, on the whole, very nice and the food, when I finally got it, was fine. TV offerings very poor. Just not good enough for an allegedly highly rated hotel. (Edinburgh, Murrayfield)

Get shafted @ Leonardo Boutique hotels

Nothing like making a booking that the hotel gets wrong & when they kindly promise to re-imburse they actually change the facts so that they don’t have to re-imburse the customers. When you know you were at the hotel at 10am to check in & you’re told that you got the date wrong & then you see that they update Booking in the afternoon as a ‘no show’. I don’t know why Booking wants to list such hotels on their database when such bad service from the hotel reflects badly known them as well. Leonardo hotel - Tel Aviv This business customer ain’t coming back!

Have just booked my 4th visit this year. at Leonardo Hotel Gateshead Quays, fabulous, as always very friendly staff , Ann on reception so helpful, and always give us a welcome as we arrive, the furnishings in bar, and lounge have been renewed, plus an added touch of complementary cold drinks from the dispenser in reception rooms cleaned and all tea coffee and milk , plenty of it every day, the bar staff and resturant staff are fantastic, my next visit already booked

SEAFOS DOES NOT OPERATE LIKE A 5 STAR HOTEL

While checking into my suite at the SEAFOS Luxury Resort & Spa Hotel in Nafplio, Greece the Security Guard/Reception Staff negligently directed my partner and I to park in an area incapable of safely accommodating our Van, resulting in substantial damage to the body panels of our vehicle. Following the damage to our vehicle I confronted the hotel Mgr. (Vasilis Keritis) who agreed that his staff was negligent and that he was willing to do what was necessary to restore our vehicle. Yet the following day, when I inquired how the SEAFOS Hotel was going to arrange payment for the repairs necessary to fix our van , Vasilis Keritis reversed his position claiming his staff was not at fault. Out of hundreds of hotels I've stayed, throughout 55+ different countries, this is BY FAR THE WORSE ONE YET!!!

Leonardo Dortmund

Leonardo Dortmund, toll, an alles gedacht, Fön, Schminkspiegel, großer Spiegel, extra Wärme im Badezimmer, tolles Bett, umfangreiches Frühstück, Kaffeeautomat für Nachtschwärmer, Kaffee/Tee bereiter auf dem Zimmer, Kühlschrank, Platz im Zimmer. Es fehlte an gar nichts und nichts war mühsam. Toll, vielen Dank!

The hotel in Sheffield- no room service…

The hotel in Sheffield- no room service as was short staffed, food was cold and sub par and overpriced, my work laptop couldn't connect to their wifi and they were frankly unhelpful. Advertised pastries in their breakfast and when it finished at 9am (breakfast ends at 10), they refused to replenish and flatly told me they were out of pastries. slept very little as room was super hot and air conditioning wasn't working

Several issues unfortunately.

Several issues unfortunately. 1. Low doorway into the shower/toilet part of the bathroom. I stayed one night in room 252, and hit my head at least three times. 2. The Triumph bar is way too small for the capacity of the hotel. Went in there at 7.30pm for a meal and drink and struggled to find a free table. 3. Cooked breakfast was cold! The hot plates are not doing their job of keeping the food warm. Could be greatly improved by cooking to order

Leonardo Hotel Newcastle

Spent 4 nights at this hotel, booked through Just Go Holidays. The food was OK; however, the evening meal's service was unbelievable for a so called 4-star hotel. Only two waiters were available to serve over 50 diners. The service was so bad one night that we had to serve ourselves. Absolute chaos! The room service was also very poor. Needing a wake-up call, I reported at the service desk that our phone was not operating. Alas, nothing was done about it. After our first day's stay, my wife and I suspected that the tea cups in our room were not being washed. To test this, I pencilled crosses on the bottom of the cups before we went out for the day. Finding on our return that the crosses were still present, I took the cups to the service desk where I spoke to the "deputy manager." I got no satisfaction! He said that the cups looked clean enough to him, but that he would report the issue to the hotel manager. Regrettably, no one got back to me. Avoid this hotel if you expect good hygiene!

We had multiple complaints during a 5…

We had multiple complaints during a 5 day stay. Our room backed onto the back where all you could hear were bottles breaking from the recycling and a lot of truck delivery noises, There is no AC and we had a fan in our room that didn’t work and it took a day to get it replaced. On our last night we went down for dinner and we were told that the restaurant would be open at 6 and to sit in the lounge till then, At 6:00 o’clock we were told that there was only the lunch menus available at the bar as the restaurant was booked for a private event. There were parties going on out our room door in the early hours and McDonalds garbage left outside our room door, We complained and the front desk said a lot of people have mentioned that.We had 6 channels on our TV and told the front desk the first day and they were sending a service tech to fix and we left 4 days later with the same channels

They do not honour the price match guarantee. I found the same room same hotel same dates however they choose which websites they will honour the price match guarantee.

Hotel Leonardo…einmal und nie wieder

War für zwei Nächte im Hotel Leonardo in Hamburg bei den Elbbrücken einquartiert. Das war vom 12.-14. August. Bei der Ankunft wurde mir ein Zimmer nach Süden geheben. Grosse Fenster nach Süden, weder Vorhänge noch Jalousien waren gezogen. Das Zimmer war weit über dreissig Grad aufgeheizt. Klimaanlage gabs nicht. Ich habe an der Rezeption ein anderes Zimmer verlangt. Hatten sie nicht. Dann das beste, die bereits geleistete Zahlung wurde bis heute nicht gutgeschrieben.

Leonardo Hotel Brighton

This hotel is very sad. On the outside, the building looks neat. Lobby is also great. However, Hallways are old and carpets are smelly. Very poor room service, 5 nights in the hotel without changing beddings and towels even if I specifically requested it. Also the AC cannot be switched off and the control button on the wall is very old, too difficult to press. I do not recommend and will not come back.

Leonardo Derby

Reserved two adjoining rooms for my family including my 12-year (they counted would as an adult). I requested rooms next door (adjoining/opposite). On check-in receptionist Kristina said the rooms would be opposite in fact rooms were separate by a long corridor (video available). Returning to reception and said, it was important to have rooms together (safety of my child) she said well 'at least they are on the same floor', laughing and smirking and had no intention of trying to resolve. The deputy manager was no better and said my reservation did not specify my request which I had on several emails. When I asked to see my reservation she refused saying it was private! They took full payment on check-in and lied saying they took card details to hold my booking and payment would be on check-out. I received an alert from my bank saying money out of my account immediately. I asked for refund as we wanted to find a replacement hotel with rooms closer together. Shoddy customer service, coupled with lies and sharp practice. Avoid at all costs - worst check-in and experience, ever.

Leonardo hotel sheffield Terrible food cook can't cook stayed for five days the bed was hard as bullet even with extra pillows room was clean my coach driver was excellent and trips would good but I do not recommend the hotel and food raw yuk not cooked enough 😒
