Disappointing. Tried on two separate evenings to contact Room Service and, failing that, Reception from room phone. No answer on either occasion. The room was up a flight of 10 stairs. I was not made aware of possible accessibility issues before arrival and found this challenging which for a "superior" room is not good enough. I had difficulty finding help with my case and struggled with the stairs. Having said that the staff with whom I interacted were, on the whole, very nice and the food, when I finally got it, was fine. TV offerings very poor. Just not good enough for an allegedly highly rated hotel. (Edinburgh, Murrayfield)
Nothing like making a booking that the hotel gets wrong & when they kindly promise to re-imburse they actually change the facts so that they don’t have to re-imburse the customers. When you know you were at the hotel at 10am to check in & you’re told that you got the date wrong & then you see that they update Booking in the afternoon as a ‘no show’. I don’t know why Booking wants to list such hotels on their database when such bad service from the hotel reflects badly known them as well.

Have just booked my 4th visit this year. at Leonardo Hotel Gateshead Quays, fabulous, as always very friendly staff , Ann on reception so helpful, and always give us a welcome as we arrive, the furnishings in bar, and lounge have been renewed, plus an added touch of complementary cold drinks from the dispenser in reception rooms cleaned and all tea coffee and milk , plenty of it every day, the bar staff and resturant staff are fantastic, my next visit already booked
While checking into my suite at the SEAFOS Luxury Resort & Spa Hotel in Nafplio, Greece the Security Guard/Reception Staff negligently directed my partner and I to park in an area incapable of safely accommodating our Van, resulting in substantial damage to the body panels of our vehicle. Following the damage to our vehicle I confronted the hotel Mgr. (Vasilis Keritis) who agreed that his staff was negligent and that he was willing to do what was necessary to restore our vehicle. Yet the following day, when I inquired how the SEAFOS Hotel was going to arrange payment for the repairs necessary to fix our van , Vasilis Keritis reversed his position claiming his staff was not at fault. Out of hundreds of hotels I've stayed, throughout 55+ different countries, this is BY FAR THE WORSE ONE YET!!!

Bitterly disappointed. Customer service is appalling.
While making a complaint to the duty manager (Adam) he did not ask what my room number was. When I challenged him on that, he told me "I know who you are; you are from room 205." That was not our room number!!!
At that point I just had to walk away. He followed us from reception past the restaurant/bar and beyond the conference rooms (circa 200 meters). It was intimidating and creepy.
I did not want to go up to our room whilst he was following.
My partner stopped to talk to him. Apparently he offered a discount. We did not want a discount. We wanted to share our concerns about the food, service and bad quality of sleep SO THEY COULD CORRECT THINGS MOVING FORWARDS.
The room was dirty. It was "cleaned" once during our three night stay despite putting out the "clean me" notice. On the last day the room maid was at the end of her shift (late afternoon) when she came to clean the room. My partner was in the bathroom - so I declined her offer to clean the room.
Mould on curtains, dust, hair and debris on feature wall around the headboard, dirty light fittings and dirty recesses. The mattress was too hard to get comfortable and resulted in three bad nights sleep. It was either too hot or too cold in the room.
Strong smell of drugs in the corridor. No sound proofing of rooms - walls are paper thin. You hear people using their bathrooms, having conversations, sneezing, everything...........
Breakfast was under par, not replenished to keep pace and chaotic. Leather bacon, dried out and hard potatoes, overcooked eggs swimming in oil. Asked for poached eggs, was told not available at weekends. No cereals, smoothies, sliced fruit, cheese, ham or pastries left. Saw child put items from the fruit salad in their mouth, then take it out and put it back into the bowl.
Queue for coffee machine was at least 10 minutes. Coffee machine did not stop at a full cup so spills everywhere. No table service.
This hotel does not offer help with luggage. Its star rating certainly should not be 4*.
If you want decent steak supper, head over to the Miller and Carter restaurant on the other side of the Island or to Barnicles Restaurant across the road; both are better value and have fantastic atmosphere. The Marco Pierre White restaurant at the Leonardos doubles up as the breakfast area, so has no charm about it.
My final memory of this stay, is having reception ring our room late that night to ask if we were the couple that made the complaint to the duty manager that evening. I gave the phone to my partner so he could deal with the call as it totally freaked me out.
We checked out the next morning. Appalled and intimidated by the entire experience. Reading the reviews - it is clear management do not care about a customers experience/value and all responses are along the lines of "thank you for drawing this to our attention .....and hope to see you soon".
Stayed at leonardo royal hotel in Birmingham in April 2023 and the room was dirty, the walls were paper thin and you could hear everything going on in the corridor and adjoining rooms. Wouldn’t stay here again, especially considering the amount this hotel charges

So abgehoben sind dieMitarbeiter und haben keine Ahnung von Diensleistung.
Het ziet er allemaal prachtig uit dat vooropgesteld. Bij aankomst vroeg de dame achter de receptie of ik gebruik wilde maken van de parkeergarage ik gaf aan dat ik in de wijk geparkeerd had. Zij attendeerde mij erop dat je op straat betaald moest parkeren tussen 10 en 18 uur, maar omdat het op dat moment net na 18 uur was er geen probleem was.
De volgende dag kwam ik om 17.30 aan en besloot op advies van de dame mijn auto in de garage te parkeren om zo het laatste half uurtje niet te hoeven betalen. Echter toen ik de dag erna wilde weggaan gaf ze aan dat ik nog even 9 euro voor de parkeergarage moest betalen.
Kort samengevat had ik dus beter op straat kunnen parkeren ipv nu even 9 euro extra te moeten afrekenen. Niet echt netjes zeker niet als je 3 nacht verblijft lijkt het mij wel zo logies dat je gewoon gratis kun parkeren of dat men het aangeeft dat je ook in de garage van het hotel moet betalen (en fors ook).
Domper op mooi verblijf.
Fuyez cette chaine d’hôtel - contact commercial catastrophique
Fuyez cette chaîne d’hôtel qui depuis 2 mois, suite à un but sur leur site internet de réservation, ne répond pas à mes appels téléphoniques, mes courriels ou mes contacts par leur site dédié….
Cela fait deux mois que j`essaie de récupérer des sommes importantes de réservations qu’ils ont encaissés sans envoie de justificatifs, mais visiblement personne ne s’y intéresse.
Aucune possibilité d’avoir un contact pour discuter du sujet et le traiter.
Le Groupe Leonardo hôtels est très opaque sans aucune adresse ni contact téléphonique.
A fuir et éviter de réserver si vous ne voulez pas avoir de soucis !
Do Not Book Leonardo Royal Edinburgh Unless you Want to Stay on a Building Site. We have stayed at numerous Leonardo…
We have stayed at numerous Leonardo Hotels and have always been pleased with our stay.
Unfortunately this was not the case at Leonardo Royal Edinburgh Jeffrey Street. The only saving grace were the staff whom could not do enough to try and salvage our stay.
We were celebrating our Grandsons 13th Birthday and were left a few treats in our room which were greatly appreciated.
Unfortunately less could be said of our room which backed onto a Building Site, just feet from our window. We requested a room at the front of the property but was advised non available. There was constant noise throughout the day, starting at 7am in the morning. Building work was also being carried out inside the hotel, so additional noise and dust throughout our stay.
The bar area was not very inviting, although staff very friendly. Also our breakfast experience not the best. Quality and selection of food only average. Again front of house restaurant staff excellent.
Although we did have a lovely weekend, it was spoilt by our hotel stay. We paid a lot of money to stay on a building site and was very angry we had not been advised beforehand that there would be disruption throughout the hotel.
The works are due to continue for another year, so unless you are desperate for somewhere to stay we would advise you book elsewhere
Leonardo hotel NYX Hotel Prague deserves a good review! Very clean and great facilities, the room size a bit small but the cleaniest I've ever been to! The hotel staffs were very nice so they deserve a good review!
No dogs are allowed in nyx hotel leonardo bilbao, although the nyx website says that dogs are always welcome! Very bad surprise when we came to the hotel.
