Disappointing

Disappointing. Tried on two separate evenings to contact Room Service and, failing that, Reception from room phone. No answer on either occasion. The room was up a flight of 10 stairs. I was not made aware of possible accessibility issues before arrival and found this challenging which for a "superior" room is not good enough. I had difficulty finding help with my case and struggled with the stairs. Having said that the staff with whom I interacted were, on the whole, very nice and the food, when I finally got it, was fine. TV offerings very poor. Just not good enough for an allegedly highly rated hotel. (Edinburgh, Murrayfield)

Get shafted @ Leonardo Boutique hotels

Nothing like making a booking that the hotel gets wrong & when they kindly promise to re-imburse they actually change the facts so that they don’t have to re-imburse the customers. When you know you were at the hotel at 10am to check in & you’re told that you got the date wrong & then you see that they update Booking in the afternoon as a ‘no show’. I don’t know why Booking wants to list such hotels on their database when such bad service from the hotel reflects badly known them as well. SEAFOS DOES NOT OPERATE LIKE A 5 STAR HOTEL

While checking into my suite at the SEAFOS Luxury Resort & Spa Hotel in Nafplio, Greece the Security Guard/Reception Staff negligently directed my partner and I to park in an area incapable of safely accommodating our Van, resulting in substantial damage to the body panels of our vehicle. Following the damage to our vehicle I confronted the hotel Mgr. (Vasilis Keritis) who agreed that his staff was negligent and that he was willing to do what was necessary to restore our vehicle. Yet the following day, when I inquired how the SEAFOS Hotel was going to arrange payment for the repairs necessary to fix our van , Vasilis Keritis reversed his position claiming his staff was not at fault. Out of hundreds of hotels I've stayed, throughout 55+ different countries, this is BY FAR THE WORSE ONE YET!!!

I cancelled my stay with Royal Leonardo…

I cancelled my stay with Royal Leonardo Hotel in Brighton but they would not give a refund so I asked for the room to be re-instated giving them 3 weeks notice, but was then ignored and I am now £200 out of pocket.

Bad experience in Baden-Baden

Staying in the Leonardo Baden-Baden in Germany. Very poor experience. Hotel is being renovated but there was no mention of this when booking. Almost the entire ground floor area is a total building site. You have to tiptoe around workmen with buckets and trowels and drills. It's great to update but building work this extensive should be done when the hotel is closed. Pool was closed, which was very disappointing for my family. Just think it's very deceitful not to have at least a note in the website outlining that there is building work happening and that you might be inconvenienced. Very poor.

Leonardo advantage club

Leonardo advantage club, what a con, everytime I log in my points from previous bookings have dissappeared, and they expect me to remember booking ref numbers from those bookings in order too find them, what a let down great hotels , useless staff who dont care about loyal customers, have stayed 3 ties already at same hotel this year, cant afford to ring them, as it costs 12p a minute , CON is what I call it, as well as dont care about LOYALTY

The Leonardo Royal Edinburgh - Never Again

We have stayed at The Leonardo Royal Hotel Edinburgh before, but never again! We requested a front facing room but the hotel allocated us a room at the back. View of the beautiful city? NO. A brick wall a few feet from your window. Peaceful? NO. Unless you get up before 7.45am. There is a building/construction site outside the back facing rooms - a sort of built-in alarm clock of noise, So for old folk, no chance of an afternoon nap either, and during the night and on a Sunday the site's generator stays on. And just in case the workmen take a break, the hotel's garbage/bin area is right below the back windows, just a different noise to add to the cacophony! We did complain to the front desk that we had requested a front room but to no avail. Two bottles of red wine and a free breakfast were offered in compensation, the breakfast was excellent but red wine at 7.45am - no thanks. We visit Edinburgh every year - 2025 will see us stay at a different location!

Leonardo Hotel Swindon

Leonardo Hotel Swindon How do you justify £1.70 for a crunchie bar from your cold fridge by reception. Very poor and feel completely ripped off so all the goodness in the service and rooms are completely gone. Maybe revisit or not if you want to be like the premier inn is

Flexible rate is a scam

I was staying for work and booked flexible rate. Leonardo immediately charged my card despite the arrangement being to pay at the hotel. They did not provide a receipt or any acknowledgment that the payment was taken. I have to provide a receipt for everything I buy on the company card so this caused issues for me. I emailed to explain the error and with no written response or documentation the booking was cancelled, I was refunded and the reservation was re-booked as pay at hotel. I had to cancel (which was within my rights seen as I had booked at the higher rate) but it wouldn’t let me do it online because it ‘hadn’t been booked online’ (it had, but the booking was messed up because of the above). I therefore had to call them to cancel. The guy on the phone was taking a long time, ‘checking I am allowed to cancel’ then being ‘very pleased to inform me I can’ (I know. I booked that rate.) he was also asking irrelevant questions about whether I would like to change the date and why I had cancelled when I had already explained my work commitment in that location was cancelled. Drawing out the conversation, in other words. When I got my phone bill I realised why. Premium rate number charged at £1 per minute. I didn’t realise this and called from my personal phone, so my employer’s change of plans cost me personally £5.50.

Modern aber sehr schmuddelig.

Das Hotel macht einen modernen Eindruck. Das Bad und die Toiletten sind unterirdisch. Noch nie no ein smudeliges Hotel in Deutschland gesehen. Sehr schade das man da keinen Wert darauf legt.

Great service, and comfy rooms

I now stay at the Heathrow T5 Leonardo every week for work after trying numerous other hotels in the area and have to say, the overall level of service is of a really high standard compared to other hotels in the area of a comparable price. Check in is really efficient and friendly, the bar staff are very courteous, professional and helpful, special mention to Keenan who is an asset to the hotel in his level of service and professionalism. Rooms are comfy and quiet, gym is small but well equipped. Having breakfast start at 06:00 is a real positive to get a good start to the day before work, unlike the 06:30 of competitors. Would highly recommend if flying out from Heathrow or visiting the area on business.
