Avoid this company at all costs! It was the most stressful and miserable experience of my life. The communication was terrible, it’s impossible to get hold of anyone on the phone and takes 5 to 7 working days to get a reply to an email, and when they do eventually reply, the response is brief and not always informative. Documents were often lost and had to be repeatedly sent. Documents unrelated to our property uploaded to their eWay online system, which is only as helpful as the person who updates this and again, not informative, as it will say email sent or received but contain no details. Due to their incompetence It took 7 months to complete and we were not even in a chain! They act like they are doing you a favour rather than proving you a service you are paying for.

I used JS Law for both the sale of my existing property and also the purchase of my new property. I have to say the service I received from my Solicitor Kenny Crowther was exemplary. We were referred by our mortgage advisor and the conveyancer assigned was Chloe Bromley. From start to finish she’s been helpful and extremely prompt with actioning things. There’s been a few occasions where we’ve not understood something well and she’s taken the time to explain clearly. She’s also gone above and beyond with support/dealing with the sellers side where issues have risen. If Chloe was on leave her colleagues were also quick to pick up things on her behalf. Thanks for replying, how can we send you the reference number as it would be great to understand why paperwork hasn't been sorted out. We were also not informed regarding how to obtain Title deeds after completion. They worked everything out at the end however during the entire process we had to email n call many times to get replies. Also not happy that we didn't get a response before of after about obtaining a Gas safety certificate from the sellers of the property. Would've expected this task to be completed as it's standard while selling and buying property so now stuck without one at all and incurring further expense doing it. Ideally, it's expected that the solicitors put everything and your best interests first being the client. .

Molly Davies helped us with our move from Essex to Scotland and was very helpful and quick to respond with any queries or questions we had. Very stressful being a long distance move for us but we were kept well informed with every step. Many thanks again. Lisa and Dale Cooper.

Working with Laura Maycock has been a pleasure, and that's not something you can normally say for any kind of legal dealings! Laura has been responsive, knowledgeable, timely and practical in every interaction; while third parties were throwing roadblocks, Laura's pragmatic approach allowed things to progress. This made a long and complicated sale much more manageable. Additionally, in a very unusual set of circumstances, with one party being outside of the UK, and the other uncontactable for the majority of the time, Laura was undeterred, again using a pragmatic approach she assisted with other parties to ensure milestones were achieved. I cannot rate the service we received enough, and would, absolutely use Laura again in any future transactions. Thank you, for helping our family conclude the sale of our house.
