I used Harris and Woods inhouse conveyancing solicitors Js law when I moved from my house to a flat. My solicitor Molly helped me by always sending me paperwork when I requested it , and i soon then used the online system more l when was confident with using it. She was very thorough and made sure everything was done on my behalf. There were several important odds and ends to tie up regarding my purchase, when the pressure was on due to being in a chain of several people and she made sure everything was covered and checked out. I would use them again in the future if I moved. I thought she did a good job for me and I found her very easy to talk to which reassured me.

Khush was great! She was very friendly and very informative. If something wasn't quite clear in a document or email, she would explain things concisely yet thoroughly and made sure that my best interests were kept when getting ready for exchange!

I would not recommend using JS Law they are incompetent to say the least, no updates on progress, you never know who your dealing with as the person you first speak to you wont hear from again or the person you spoke to last is on annual leave then another person who doesnt know any info takes over, your having to continually chase these guys, the contact numbers stop working, no response to emails and then mistakes being often made especially in the financial summary. Be sure to double check every amount as they will make mistakes and often blunders.

I was nervous about using a firm that was not based close to me geographically but the process has been very transparent due to the portal. Also my conveyancer, Chelsea Murphy, was easy to contact and very responsive if I needed reassurance about the process.

Laura was great to work with. We had a very long, drawn out process due to probate and Laura kept us informed, was patient with our questions and had everything ready for us when we could exchange and complete.
