Very professional
Very professional in dealing with my late Parents Estate. Courteous and thoughtful. Would highly recommend. Obviously a big thanks to Alistair Powell who carried this out for me.

Terrible firm. Incompetent, rude and arrogant. Please avoid this law firm at all costs. No axe to grind here at all and I will be making a complaint to the law society.

Awful online solicitors that have been delaying our chain. If you're thinking of saving a penny and using online solicitors please don't! They have had local searches for 3 weeks and not reviewed/raised any queries despite chasing. They have had Management Pack (Leasehold flat) which has sat for 2 weeks with their Leasehold department for review. Nothing. 5 months into our chain and it's looking likely to cause people to pull out. No amount of chasing and emails from estate agents or solicitors prompts a response. I understand it's busy as everyone scrambles to complete before 31st March but they should be prioritising things better. We have a complete chain above, everyone is waiting to exchange. ** Update 25/03/25 - still delaying things! They are incapable of reviewing search results/queries and making decisions. They have raised a total of 28 enquiries so far and after each one is answered they raise ANOTHER!? Its taken 4 weeks so far and they are still at it. The entire chain have been ready to complete since February, we are due to complete on 28 March but we can't exchange until their endless queries are satisfied. Which means no one can now book removals due to stamp duty deadline. AVOID THESE PEOPLE, THEY ARE CLUELESS PARALEGALS WHO AS OTHER REVIEWS HAVE SAID CANNOT DEAL WITH LEASEHOLD.
Kelly made everything nice and simple and easy to understand. Her communication was excellent! She was so helpful. I thought doing everything online would be tricky but it was actually so much easier! Would definitely recommend.
I would like to say thank you to Chloe and her team at JS Law, as this was a new experience for me she always listened carefully to my concerns and act accordingly. She knew her stuff and that made this journey a stress free one for me. Thank you for your patience and making me feel heard every time I rang.
The company was great because even if they are online conveyancing only, the service I received 5 years ago and now is superb. I had no problems contacting them regarding my purchase. The employees are very courteous and respond promptly everytime I had a querry. All employees I have spoken to or corresponded with were very nice and helpful.
I Was contacted by Alison regarding a past purchase which there had been an overpayment, even though I was unsure about the Email & queried the overpayment as it had been such a long time Alison reassured me & supplied the paperwork to show it was genuine. Communication was great with quick responses & very honest & professional.
Have previously left a review, had a response saying it was being looked into and nothing has changed. Going into month 5 of a straightforward sale and purchase with no chain. Conveyancer is not contactable. Her line manager is not contactable. After I complained before I got an email apologising saying she had been off sick and was dealing with enquiries now. But then nothing again. I am leaving a 1 star review now every day until we get a different conveyancer or a date for exchange is agreed.
Narissa was very helpful and professional. I'm not very good with technology and so she adjusted things to my needs to help us complete this stressful time. Thank you Narissa for all your help and understanding.
I would like to thank you to Tavleen and her team. With Tavleen my purchase went smooth and really quick. Now finally we can enjoy our own house and everything becouse of Tavleen which took extra care of us during buying proces. 5 star is definitely not enough to say how good Tavleen and her team was. Please assume this review is 10 stars but anyway she deserves more. I would like to recommend JS Law and Tavleen to anyone who is buying the house. No stress at all, perfect communication and focus to details makes me delighted with the conveyancer choice. Thank You Js Law and special thanks to Tavleen and her team.
Narissa was amazing, fast and responsive, this is exactly what you want from a conveyancing firm. The portal allows you to keep an eye on things without having to chase your lawyer and you can upload documents fast and effective. I did my purchase and sale with JS Law at the same time and it was seamless. Shame not all conveyancers work with this ethics.
JS Law are not like other online Conveyancers... they are ACTUALLY brilliant. We have used them before and this second time was just as good as the first!! Our case handler, Chloe Bromley, is exceptional!! She is always available for calls and responds to emails promptly - but mostly, she is super lovely and helpful and 'knows her stuff'. She is very tenacious and gets the job done and will work to your timeline (which obviously is very dependent on the other side's swiftness in responses). Their online portal eWay is really easy to use and prompts actions which keeps the transaction moving. I will ALWAYS recommend Chloe at JS Law now and will only reach out the her/them as my chosen conveyancers should I decide to move again in the future. Thank you Chloe - you are FAB!! Ashley & Nick x
I have primarily been dealing with Kylie but also Darryl (who I have to say was very patient with me when I was pushing for an exchange and complete date). Kylie has definitely had some issues with my buyer and I think patience on my part has worn thin on occasion but her resilience has shone through and got me finally to EOC and hopefully completion now so I am grateful to her for her communication today. My apologies for being very tough to work with at times but you have to understand that house was my life for 21 years, that went sour and meant that I had to move on through no fault of my own. Thank you Kylie and I hope you passed my apologies to Darryl for my forceful attitude last week x
We used JS law when selling and buying a property. From the start to the exchange the service we received was exceptional. Joanne Maughan was excellent and extremely prompt in completing tasks, resolving issues (mainly caused by external parties) and communicating with us. This left us reassured and confident throughout the process. Joanne was very accessible to answer any of our queries and answered within a few hours. I’ve never experienced such excellent communication from solicitors. Even in her absence her colleague Lauren supported us through the exchange and dealt with a slight issue from the upper chain. The app eWay has a fantastic portal that allows you to visually see where you’re at in the process and alerts you on any tasks that need completing. We felt like valued clients and were treated in a polite and professional manner. It was worth every penny and I would recommend to anyone who’s looking for a stress free journey to buying or selling property.
Charlotte is the best solicitor to deal with my case and thank you very much for her help before and after sale of my property. If me or my families are going to sell anything in future I will definitely contact JS Law.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Excellent service. Kept up to date on progress and Irfaan was very quick to respond to queries.
I can’t express enough how grateful I am for helping me with my purchase and the sale of my property. Your support made a real difference and I am thrilled with the outcome. Sri has done a fantastic job!
Buying with PurpleBricks, JS Law was the conveyer they recommended. I quickly received emails with an urgent tone to fill in forms on a portal. The portal continues the notion of urgency and steers the user to complete the “starter form”. This form requires the user to open, read, and confirm two agreements; the same effort is not put into ensuring that the quote has been read and understood. The quote I received is over £2100. This does not include VAT or a mandatory “file opening” fee of £180. Once these are accounted JS Law’s services are approx £1000 more expensive than competitors. I believe that JS Law uses urgency as a tactic to get clients to pay a registration fee which will effectively lock them into using a conveyor that overcharges its clients an amount of money which cannot be reasonably justified. My experience has been thoroughly negative and my dissatisfaction with this company and its way of conducting business is beyond measure.
Awful service. Unresponsive, confused, not meeting their own commitments, delaying things and not doing their job
My dealings with JS Law have been as smooth as they could be considering the issues of perspective buyers and tenants being involved. The attention and patience that has been shown is of great professionalism. Thank you for everything and I would highly recommend. The online portal is a success and give the right information at your fingertips..great service
We received an exceptional service from Charlotte during our recent property purchase. We were in the middle of a very challenging chain, dealing with some particularly difficult solicitors on both sides (book ended by Spencer Lockwood who were shocking). Without Charlotte's determination, professionalism, and experience, the completion may not have gone through. From start to finish, Charlotte was fabulous. She was tenacious, always kept us informed with clear and timely updates, and remained incredibly patient despite the pressure from all sides. Her proactive approach made all the difference, and we’re so grateful for her efforts.

Customers appreciate the thoroughness and dedication shown by these individuals, often highlighting their prompt communication and willingness to address queries.
