Buying with PurpleBricks
Buying with PurpleBricks, JS Law was the conveyer they recommended. I quickly received emails with an urgent tone to fill in forms on a portal. The portal continues the notion of urgency and steers the user to complete the “starter form”. This form requires the user to open, read, and confirm two agreements; the same effort is not put into ensuring that the quote has been read and understood. The quote I received is over £2100. This does not include VAT or a mandatory “file opening” fee of £180. Once these are accounted JS Law’s services are approx £1000 more expensive than competitors. I believe that JS Law uses urgency as a tactic to get clients to pay a registration fee which will effectively lock them into using a conveyor that overcharges its clients an amount of money which cannot be reasonably justified. My experience has been thoroughly negative and my dissatisfaction with this company and its way of conducting business is beyond measure.
