I cannot believe this company and it's customers service !! Right , I start from the beginning. Because customers service was not sure what filter I mean !! Firstly regarding the interim service, I asked why my log book was not stamped and dated when they gave it the interim service in May. I was told that they do not require to put this on the log book !! By law, NO you don't , but you should !! It is the right thing to do,as just a word of mouth means nothing, that is proof that it was done , and secondly when I come to sell it it is proof that I gave it a service every year. That is what customers expect !! Although they will do it on request lol. If they told me it was not stamped in the first place I would have !! Maybe they expect me to post it back ?? This only takes a few minutes mind, it doesn't make sense to me. Now let me explain what happened from the start.This is a 3 year old car with just 10,000 miles by the way. After 9 months I had problems with changing gears, I was stuck in the roads twice, the first time I drove all the way back home on 1st gear, the second time I called recovery to take my car to my local garage. I was told by the driver that I must have an oil leak, which I did not. Apparently there must have have been a temporarily block in my oil filter, and it did it twice remember. But if they truly did give it an interim service in May as they said this would not have happened. That is why the log book should have been STAMPED !! That IS proof !! They also keep telling me that they tried to get in touch with the me by i phone and e mail in DECEMBER . Well I never got an e-mail , and a phone maybe, as I leave my i phone in the bedroom sometimes and I do miss calls. Now I understand why they were desperate for me to do the service as they knew what is going to happen If I didn't. The fact of the matter is I could not get the car for a full service on time as my local garage was full and had to make an appointment on Tuesday the 26th. But all of this doesn't make a difference, as it was not a mechanical problem but an oil and filter needed changing, So them saying they did a service in May does not make sense, and if it doesn't make sense it is not TRUE !! I was told by customers service they will investigate ??? lol This all boils down to that they are not man enough to put their hands up and admit they made a mistake, But it takes a bigger man to do that. What they should have said is what they can do to to make this right not petty talk !! Well since I have had enough of all of this, I shall wish them luck and wave them GOOD BYE ... and make sure I will never buy a car from JOHN GROSS again !!
