Our guide Monika was incredible she was a wealth of knowledge and made sure our group was safe and informed through the entire trip. I learned so much on this trip and was able to see so many fantastic places. This is my second trip with Intripid and cannot wait to plan for the next one!

Honestly one of the best holidays I’ve been on ! Over tour guide, Sergio, couldn’t have been more helpful and kind over the course of the 17 days and we were sad to leave at the end. We had no issues at all and if there was Sergio took care of it before any of us knew there was even a problem. Range and choice of activities were great and everyone was happy at all times with that !

All stages of the process went well. Booking, transfers, travel experience, trip leadership were top notch. I've traveled on other group organized trips & thoroughly enjoyed this one the most. Just a good positive environment & great co-travelers to share the time with.

My family took the Morocco Family Tour and really enjoyed it. Our guide was excellent and shared his knowledge with us well. The itinerary was well planned and we saw a range of places. I found Intrepid easy to contact through their chat prior to departure and they sent relevant information in a timely manner. I do feel intrepid should advertise it at a 7 day tour not 8 as the 8th was only checking out if the hotel. The 1st was also meeting at 5pm so it’s really a six day tour and 7 nights accommodation.

Wonderful holiday in Egypt from 3rd October to 15th, wonderful guide his knowledge of the history was amazing, he took every care to make sure everything was good , only eight of us on trip, we all got on very well and became friends, thank you Intrepid ,would certainly use you again and recommend you to friends. Just returned from my 6th tour with this company and once again blown away by the sights we saw (this time Vietnam) the history we learned and the wonderful people we met. Our guide Duy was a fount of knowledge and often went above and beyond to make sure we had the best of experiences. Intrepid are an ethical company supporting many initiatives in countries all over the world, also their customer service in my experience has been outstanding. Can't wait to travel with Intrepid again but with 8 trips presently on my wish list the hardest decision is where to!

We just completed the Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Lakes trek with a spectacularly good team of Intrepid guides (standing ovation for our beloved guides Sancha Tamang, Ramesh Tamang, and Indra Jimme). Our team of porters - “our heroes” - were incredible! Trip of a lifetime! Intrepid was wonderful every step of the way.

Accomodation provided were very comfortable, in central locations walking distance to major attractions and restaurants. Our Tour Leader Vera bonded all those on our tour, giving us the option of free time to do our own thing for evening meal or if we wished would organise something to dine together. We always opted to dine together which very much added to our experience. Vera had wonderful knowledge of Lisbon Coimbra, Douro Valley and Porto. The small group enjoyed the comfort of a suitable size air conditioned Mercedes Van. A wonderful informative experience. We recommend Intrepid Tours where available

The intrepid team was amazing 😍, this was my first trip using them ,and I couldn't have asked for any more, they made the trip so worth while.

The tour itself was fantastic (Central America Journey) and our guide (Juan) was amazing, I would thoroughly recommend going to all the countries for the culture, food, wildlife, etc... However the pre-departure communication with Intrepid was pretty awful which led to us (and all the other UK passengers) incurring quite a lot of additional costs during the trip, due to the wrong visa being granted prior to our leaving the UK. On this basis, I cannot rate Intrepid more than one star and would not choose to travel with them again.

Morocco is a land of contrast and the Intrepid Morocco Uncovered tour allowed me to experience modern cities, ancient Medinas and the stunning landscapes that define this country. The accommodation was varied and fitting for such an adventure: riads, local hotels, Gîtes and even a tent! Local knowledge is the key to learning about a country and our tour leader combined his personal experiences with that of expert local guides. An all round amazing experience!

Awful company if you need post booking customer service. Intrepid failed to tell our agent that the itinerary had changed completely, so we weren't offered the chance to back out. we didn't find out until we arrived at the start of the trip (in Japan) and it was too late to do anything else. Intrepid acknowledged they were at fault, but refused to provide any compensation, only an insulting 15% voucher. From speaking to others, they've had similar customer service issues. would never use this company in case you need any recourse.

We had THE BEST experience ever in Japan. Our group of nine from all over the world were like minded travel and food lovers, led by Yuki, our lovely Japanese guide. We learnt so much, ate so much and laughed so much. Thank you to Intrepid for such a great itinerary.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars for the wonderful tour of Vietnam I did with Intrepid. Highlights included an overnight stay on a beautifully appointed junk, complete with an amazing meal and karaoke! We had THE BEST English speaking tour guide...Tri Nguyen...who made everyone feel so welcome and part of his 'family'. He made sure we all thoroughly enjoyed our kayaking in Halong Bay, our motor bike rides through the outskirts of Hanoi, our visits to beautiful temples and palaces, our street food experiences and our tours of Hoi An, Hue and Ho Chi Min City. Fantastic fun with a group of like-minded adventurous travellers and a wonderful tour guide! Thanks Intrepid!

This was my second 8-day yacht trip arranged by Intrepid. Last year was Santorini to Mykonos and this time to the Ionian islands on the western side of Greece. I love all the Greek Islands and the Ionian islands are truly beautiful. They are not thought of by many tourists, but they absolutely should be. Our skipper, Lukas, was brilliant. He took all of the logistical thinking from us and made our holiday so memorable. There are many mountainous islands in the Ionian group. This trip takes you to some of the smaller islands whilst it begins on Kefalonia and finishes on Corfu. Add at least a couple of full days to both islands as there is so much to see and do. I added 4 and 5 days respectively and that was about right. As an added bonus, I watched turtles from the shore at the port of Argostolion and saw a couple on snorkelling days. The Adriatic Sea is crystal clear and there are many snorkelling and swimming stops each day.

In October 2024 I joined an Intrepid Premium tour of the Golden Triangle and Varanasi. All I can say is that the trip was fantastic and met all my expectations. Great people on the tour, Lead by an outstanding Tour Leader. We were well supported without being controlled and treated as adults at all times. The hotels we stayed in were very comfortable and interesting and food always excellent. I was also particularly impressed at the information we were provided with, both by the tour leader and the guest experts and some of key sites.

An excellent itinerary and a wonderful guide and driver. A thoroughly enjoyable experience. We felt safe the whole time.

Gokyo Lakes and Everest Base Camp. It has been one of the most beautiful experiences of my life: Gyaljen with Bipin and Nimu were delightful, super prepared and able to guide through difficulties and harsh situations (storm of snow, sickness of some members). I had a fantastic time, we laughed so much and we all had a great time. Plus on the way back from Lukla me and another guy had a problem with the helicopter company, and Intrepid was there to back us up, taking care of the problem and helping us. From my experience, they are truly recommend.

This was my first Intrepid tour and was thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish. Great group, and Mariana, our fearless leader was terrific. She kept the group interested and motivated, and was always available with interesting background stories and history to enrich the trip.
