Another falsehood. They tell me I will save gbp250 per year by paying the cheapest available price for an electricity only deal they offer me but the unit kwh rate and the daily charge are both higher than I currently pay so how will this deal save me money? Answer IT WONT. so don't believe anything they tell you is my advice. Got this via Money Saving Expert, so same applies to them! Useless both of them!
Speedy & helpful email response to a problem submitting metre readings on line. Only loses a star because of the problem with the website making the enquiry necessary in the first place.

Had an email saying I'd submitted a wrong meter reading and to get in touch. I did so the next day (after a sleepless night due to my account showing I owed thousands of pounds) and spoke with Kadar who was calm, knowledgable and put me at ease. He identified my issue straight away and talked me through what I needed to do in order to get the correct reading (I was pressing the wrong button on the smart meter). My issue was dealt with it in a fast yet professional manner and resolved then and there. Really pleased with the customer service from Home Energy - definitely recommend!

I got stuck on a page on the website, contacted botchat and quickly got through to Sabrina who realised I was getting frustrated with the webchat and asked if I'd like her to call me. Definitely! She patiently explained what I needed to do, waited while I did it and was happy to answer the many questions I had. Sabrina offered to add me to the priority services register as well. I had assumed that registration would transfer with my account from British Gas. Sabrina is a very helpful, thoughtful adviser and it was a real treat to talk to a person without having to wait a long time listening to musak while I moved up the queue. A wonderful customer experience!

If you want a utility supplier who still provides excellent customer service and the ability to speak to a person (rather than a robot or online chat) then I can highly recommend Home Energy. I had a query about my account being in credit and after speaking with Kadar, he very quickly arranged for the credit to be refunded to me.

Still early days. But moved as Comparison website said they had the best rates. Moved a couple of properties across to them, needed to chat to someone today to link accounts online. Someone asnwered my call straight away, made the link which they implemented immediately. Brilliant service so far.

It was cheap before, but then it got expensive and I left them, and they took another extra month after the leaving date, leaving a big credit of 3 months of payments, totalling Β£350 plus and they promised a refund withing 10 wd but it has been over 20wd. Very dishonest, bad and unprofessional company. They do not supply utility, but just to account for it, and they do a bad job of it and keeping my money as punishment for leaving them. BEWARE OF USING THEM
