Another falsehood. They tell me I will save gbp250 per year by paying the cheapest available price for an electricity only deal they offer me but the unit kwh rate and the daily charge are both higher than I currently pay so how will this deal save me money? Answer IT WONT. so don't believe anything they tell you is my advice. Got this via Money Saving Expert, so same applies to them! Useless both of them!
Speedy & helpful email response to a problem submitting metre readings on line. Only loses a star because of the problem with the website making the enquiry necessary in the first place.

I spoke with the staff member called Dawn this afternoon regarding my bills. Speaking to Dawn made me feel valued, as she was very professional, listened to my concerns carefully, and reassured me with compassion, noticing that I was very worried about the situation. I can say that a company like Home Energy deserves staff like Dawn. She truly deserves credit.

HomeEnergy on the whole are a very good company to deal with. They are very good at answering the phone and handling your problems. Good energy prices also. However I have had a six month long drama getting my newly installed smart meters working. But as soon as Dawn got on the case, my problem was solved in a matter of days.

My worst ever experience with any company, let alone an energy one. I planned to switch to Home Energy and was required to set up a Direct Debit. After a couple of days I decided that they were incompetent as they had already lost my Priority Services Register details and so cancelled the switch. This was confirmed by email to me. Today I was charged almost Β£50 by them despite not being a customer and so not having used their services. And guess what? They blamed me for not having cancelled the Direct Debit and not themselves for having charged me for not being their customer. Astonishingly dreadful.
