Edited from 1 star at the request of the company(!), because they later sent a replacement which didn't break. I do think it's dodgy to ask people to change their reviews though - the whole point of reviews is to let other customers know what they can expect. Only giving 2 stars still because a) I asked them to arrange collection of the broken one and they still haven't; b) the original broken mirror is still such an unnecessary waste of time and resources; c) although the actual mirror is quite attractive and a good price, the frame was coming apart slightly - I fixed it with superglue as I couldn't be bothered to faff with another potential breakage; d) I find it a bit audacious that they asked me to change the review before the replacement was delivered safely, and they've still not picked up the broken one. Original 1-star review: You sent a large mirror via Evri (notoriously aggressive with packages) with insufficient packaging - literally just the mirror’s own box which didn’t obviously say “fragile”. Obviously it completely shattered. I do believe you’ll fix the issue and resend, but you might want to rethink sending a request to review before you’ve rectified the issue - Of course I’ll review badly at this stage. And I want you to know that I think the way you chose to courier this was idiotic!

The product was good but polystyrene packing is not acceptable in this day and age. Your supplier needs to used something like moulded reused cardboard

Delivery was suppose to be between 3rd and14th October. Still not arrived had no dispatch note or tracking provided. Contacted company several times for them to fob me off saying or is their delivery partners who have my item now and promised to chase it up. But still no sofa
Awful communication of delivery times.
Absolutely shocking customer care. The price tag seemed perfect but what money you save, shows in lack of organisation and poor customer care. I was promised my sofa - over varying emails and phone calls - the back end of 2 different weeks. I booked time off work and rescheduled my Saturdays to organise. We sold our old sofa with the 2nd week promises, that it was confirmed it would be delivered the end of this week after id already been told it would be the week before. I had to chase up continously over the phone as they don't have the facility to call you directly. And as polite as they are they dance around answers over emails. I don't think I've ever had as much stress trying to get a piece of furniture in my life. Id rather there was no false promises and a realistic answer was given so I didn't lose so much money taking time off work and waste so much time waiting for a phone call that didn't come. I would suggest you pay the extra money with bigger companies. There is a real lack of communication and control between your customer service team and transport team.

I ordered an item from Home Done over two months ago, and it has been a complete disaster. Not only did I never receive my order, but I've also been completely ghosted when it comes to getting a refund. Customer service is non-existent; I've reached out multiple times, and all I get is silence. This has been the worst online shopping experience I've ever had. I feel scammed and frustrated. Save yourself the trouble and avoid Home Done at all costs!
Horrendous service! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Made my order, after a month I had a very informal text conversation with who purported to be the warehouse asking to make a delivery. I wasn’t in on the day offered so they said they would get back to me. This never happened so I tried to cancel my order. They are now saying they will charge me nearly £170 as they have to recall the sofa back to the warehouse. I’ve never known such a shoddy company. I’m going to Trading Standards and looking to take this further!
