No school cakes or giant monster munch. Absolutely raging. Not acceptable. This place is terrible.
All credit to the staff at Home Bargains in Waterloo Liverpool. Nice atmosphere, efficient, friendly, helpful.
I would like to praise the helpfulness of staff, especially Zoe, at Home Bargains, Picton Court Bridgend. I needed assistance to lift a purchase and Zoe insisted on carrying it out to my car. This store is always clean and well stocked, staff are helpful and friendly even when it’s extremely busy. Thank you
I got this headphones Bluetooth called 19437 and they are slipping out my ear and not connecting right and the sound is not good and I paid £7 for them what a waste of money and my time
My Husband and I popped into Home Bargains, Durham retail Park. 14/11/2024. I just had to write this review, our server was called Christopher, what a fantastic man he was, so happy, I can't speak more highly of him. he made our day. He will definitely be a credit to this company. I hope to see him again when we return.
Visited the St Rollox Glasgow store today, great choice of items and a spotless clean store 👍Will definitely be returning. Big thanks to Ryan G good lad made our day
Good range of things but to save Christmas last minute shopping needs. Good car parking and efficient knowledgeable staff that know their store.
Rudest staff ever! Popped into HB at Gillingham, Dorset today. Just needed a few things. Asked for some help as couldn’t find a few items, and asked if someone could help get something down from a higher shelf, and on both occasions the answer was sorry, I’m really busy. Just wish I got a staff members name. Strawberry blonde/Ginger hair lad in his 20s I’d say. Just so rude.
love home bargains and i ordered online for the first time never again!!!! the order come in a ripped open box their was itamd missing yous did nothing about this so there for id say dont i mean dont order offline what a load of c r a p
Regular shopper at Deepdale Pavillion, Preston branch. Experienced rude staff members, including the manager. Who kept on repeating "talking to me", either a chip on his shoulder, or power trip as a manager. Never shop again at this place!
It’s got to be another 5 star review. My wishes are for everyone who works so hard for Home Bargains in Blandford Street. A special note is for Claire who was brilliant last Friday. All the staff are lovely, kind and so helpful.
Placed an order online 9VQ4MBSH6845M Failed to arrive and Homebargains have failed to refund. Will be reporting to trading standards.
Went shopping at York monks cross home bargains yesterday around 4pm. What I witnessed as a customer was disgusting . There were 3 managers 2 males & 1 female) on the shop floor chatting deciding what should be done . 1 male said to the female why don’t u as your mate to do that . Then they all laughed. An assistant that was literally on the isle behind who would of heard the conversation and laughter was called ‘eh Will can you do this “ at this point I was on the isle with the worker and could hear the female laughing uncontrollably. The other male manager was laughing and when Will went off to do the task he had been sent on the 3 of them all giggled with each other . I felt really sorry for Will as he was obviously being bullied by these 3 managers . He would have heard all the conversations and looked so down beaten. These managers are obviously bullies and they certainly didn’t represent home bargains in a good light .
Excellent prices and offer products I can't get in british supermarkets
UPDATE: Delivery arrived quickly and safely by Evri. PREVIOUS REVIEW: I used to shop in store, but since moving away from the area and sadly not having a Home Bargains nearby, I was delighted to find that they have an online shop and offer home delivery. Their products are great value and they offer a good selection of items. I have had to contact customer services by email a couple of times and both times they have been polite and very helpful. I realised they only use Evri as couriers and because of this I tried to cancel the order, but unfortunately it was too late, however they offered a solution, that other companies haven't and said I could get the order returned to them and once received they will issue a refund. I will wait to see if Evri do deliver first. I have suggested that they offer their customers a choice of couriers in future, that they've passed on to management, hopefully they will offer a courier choice in the future, as I would like to continue to shop with them. By the way, I see on some reviews that people have had trouble in store with customer services, if you do, I would say email them instead, hopefully you'll get a better service.
I visited this store on Monday (4th November 2024), with my parents and my infant baby. When being served at the till, my mother had gone ahead and paid for her goods as I had more items. I was unpacking, whilst at this time, my infant child was in distress so I was trying to check out as quickly as possible. However, your employee, Ryan F, who was serving us, asked the customer behind me if they wanted to go ahead of me because they only had a few items. He could see that my infant child was in distress at this time. I did make reference that this wasnt okay, however he appeared to ignore this. My mother then challenged him and mentioned about the baby being in distress, to which firstly he ignored, therefore my mother had to repeat what she had said to him, to which he then replied “Okay, well I just thought she might have been on her break”. This did not sit well with myself nor my mother, who responded disgusted to his excuse, and again he just replied “okay”. I was appalled by this treatment, especially given that I had a young baby in distress. I dont believe it is the discretion of the employee to decide if a customer should jump the queue and especially in these circumstances. I feel very discriminated against, as a customer and a new mother for this kind of treatment. I reported this via the complaints section on the website. The response I received was that this would be investigated, though I would not be informed of an outcome. I wanted to share my experience as I feel nobody should have to experience this.
the home bargain staff where to nonchalant and interupted lloyd simon eynon watching dylan jones on the hawk tuah podcast. lots of love - joey bell
They sell some nice items at good prices however I paid for an item I don't have... I bought multiple protein bars and upon getting home and looking at the receipt I have been charged for 1 additional bar. I had 20 bars so a nice round figure and they were in 4 rows of 5 in the box but I was charged for 21. The Item only cost ₤1 so it's not worth the petrol to return/complain in store and I evidently can't prove it now. The store was very busy and I was already held up due to one of my items not having a tag so the cashier had to call another worker who went and got another to scan so I failed to check the receipt immediately. I go in every couple of months for some bars and other bits but don't usually get a receipt so I wonder if this has happened before. Genuine mistake or scamming customers... I guess I'll have to be more vigilant in the future.
I do love Home Bargains Excellent shop, so many goodies at Great prices. Whenever I visit I always fill my trolley. Excellent items at excellent prices. 5 Star ☆☆☆☆☆
Cafe at Sunderland home bargains Staff very nice Lovely food Well priced Always very clean
You sent me a faulty item which I can’t use!! I am disabled and do not have transport hense why I had to order the item online and have it delivered your solution to sending me a faulty item is I return it to store!! NOT AN OPTION FOR ME or I return it by Evri also not an option why would I pay excess money on a taxi to take the item to the post office then money on a taxi getting home returning your faulty item back to you so I can get my money refunded for your faulty item I would pay more money for the taxi fare than the item cost!!!! How is that fair!!! 😡 then I have to pay ANOTHER delivery fee to order a new item again!! I think NOT!! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!! DO NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS OR SENDING OUT FAULTY ITEMS!! SHODDY AFTER OR SHOULD I SAY LACK OF AFTER CARE!! VERY LAST TIME I SHOP ONLINE WITH YOU!! LESSON VERY WELL LEARNED!!!!
