Great Telehealth service
Quick service, was connected in minutes. The Doctor was good and very knowledgeable. The whole process was efficient with minimal delays and stress. Will use again.

This would have been a higher review if there weren't tech issues. The time in the waiting room was fine. I expected to wait around 20 minutes so no issue. The problem was the tech issues. I couldn't see or hear the Dr. We texted but then the system ended the call. I'm glad I was able to request assistance with the button and the dr called me back immediately which I greatly appreciated. The dr discussed my situation professionally and issued a script. It was made clear to me that this was a once off script and that I need to see my usual dr for repeats. I'll use Hola Health again.
The GP Vishnu Gopalan who is a cofounder gave me the wrong provider number AND didn't set up the mental health plan which I had to call medicare myself to find out. Zero support from service after following up for 3 weeks with same automated messages. Complete scam it seems. Avoid at all costs. Made an account just to write this review to warn anyone considering this service
Excellent and prompt service, able to get my script while my doctor was away on holidays. There are a few people here complaining about not getting scripts which are clearly mentioned on the website TOC as “what can not be prescribed.” This is a great service that fills a gap in service provision and I get the impression some people are treating it like shopping at the mall rather than a consult with a doctor who will make decisions based on their discretion. Excellent service if you treat it like what it is, a doctor’s consult.
Tele health call from the Doctor was excellent - prompt / helpful and friendly. E-Script to phone excellent. Referring the script to a pharmacy that was closed when we needed to go to the late night chemist (for my sick daughter) - poor. Paying $24 for the script to be delivered the next day was even more average. Need to do better than this Hola - great start , disappointing finish.
I had a terrible experience with Hola. Getting the appointment itself was fine despite the long wait time, however the GP I had never confirmed the medication I needed and prescribed the wrong one. When booking, you are asked to select the medication you need to see if it would be available via medicare. There are many psychiatric medications listed under the same name, resulting in an incorrect prescription being handed out. Upon being in touch with customer service 12 hours later I was told I had been sent a new script for the correct medication, only to find it was the same one again. So, twice I was prescribed the incorrect antidepressant for my needs. If I didn't check the active ingredients of this medication and took it for the month prescribed, I would be at serious risk to my health. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.
They put you in waiting room and expect you to stay there when it takes over 30 mins for a third world doctor to come on screen! Then you get a message saying no one available and the doctor will be with you soon.. Then a woman from which sounds like rural India rings you and you have no idea what she is saying! I doctor gives you a pathology referral, then a week later when you've sent a sample into pathology to be tested . You get another doctor who does not have and has no idea of your results.. You then have to get results yourself from pathology and self diagnose yourself! $39 bucks down drain for a useless service if you can call it that!
Edit: after I followed up many times, another dr called back and my appointment went through but only increased by 1 star. I wished I had read reviews before wasting my money. I needed a referral for a back scan asap as I cannot walk far and dr called, kept saying hello, hello, although I could clearly see we were connected and both our images visible with perfect sound and he hung up, called back again and hung up almost immediately. Great scam as every review here says almost the same and they take your money, don’t have a phone contact and no refund. The Hola Health should be shut down as it’s a huge liability when people are in desperate need to speak with a doctor and local hospitals & doctors just can’t see a patient for days. How is this still happening?
Asked for medical certificate for the day, not a telehealth, their service booked a telehealth anyway. I've already seen a doctor in person about the issue, but no, they want to do something that costs over double, and then send me texts and emails about conducting a telehealth with an app or with a link using webcam and mic. Never mind that I don't want their app or that I don't have a webcam, never mind that their telehealth link on the phone refuses to see my camera or microphone, never mind that they have my phone number to call, no, use those. Then they keep sending me texts about the doctor being ready to see me shortly, and they never show. Money gone and no med cert. Never using again.
Nothing but amazing service, the Dr I got was so beyond kind as I was having a panic attack and crying she helped me with my prescription and gave me nothing but reassurance. Best $19 I’ve ever spent
Waited about 45 minutes in the waiting room for the doctor to call, called the helpline and sent an email, no response. Finally, the doctor calls, as soon as I click the link, the call ends and the message ''this telehealth session is now complete''.... Thanks for basically stealing my money. Never again.
Cost was extremely high, and the doctor refused to assist. They should publish what they can and can't prescribe on their website before people pay money.
Ok I am about to go on an absolute effing tirade here. I'm currently sitting downstairs in my living room in a stiff chair because it's the only way I can sit comfortably with 2 fractured ribs.. In desperation I started googling telehealth appointments because the earliest I can see my regular GP is next Wednesday, I need to renew my scripts for pain killers because I will have well run out by then and I'm downing maxigesic tablets like they are tictacs.. I ended up pulling out my card and paid for a video consult thru Hola Health, online within 10 minutes guaranteed... I join the waiting room and I waited. For 2. That's 2!!! Hours. They called and said we are sorry we will have someone call you immediately, a minute after hanging up they send an email cancelling my appointment and that I will be refunded with in 5 business days. I need that refund immediately. So I can move onto a reliable service that charges once services have been delivered. If I don't receive that refund then we will see how far this is going to go. Don't take money from people who need help when you can't help them. Don't offer services you cannot provide? Don't. And I mean it to whoever is reading this.. DON'T trust this company.
Cost is extremely high and service is terrible. Doctor said hello, then hung up and told the support that there was a connection issue. Next link didn't work. Next link someone called but wasn't there. Please avoid. This is terrible. They're great at SEO obviously, wish I had never clicked on it.
Omg what a scam, received 3 text messages saying they were busy and the doctor would call. No call but the last text said doctor was waiting in the chat room. Immediately clicked the link and was told the consultation was finished. Thieves!!!! Will take your money for nothing.
Reading these comments show how entitled people are. When I see reviews like this, I usually assume patient wanted something NOT in their best interest and the doctor had the “audacity” to tell NO based on their expertise. Pays 19.90 for a repeat script but wants repeats. You pay more for a Macca’s meal or your ciggies. Why would you expect a doctor to work outside of their normal hours to give you a service at rock bottom prices? LOL. I’m just gonna casually get on to an online doctor whom I’ve never seen in person to request a schedule 4D or 8 which are highly addictive. Hell yeah. 👍🏾
The service was terrible. I booked a GP appointment, but it turned out to be with a nurse instead. I contacted customer service multiple times, and even after three hours, I still didn't receive my Mental Health Care Plan. I will never use this service again
What a scam! They advertise services but hide key conditions which are buried in their ‘terms & conditions’. Example: they have a $19:90’ service for prescriptions and have their main bullet points listed but they fail to advise you that there are no repeats available on this service. If you what you have to pay for the higher fee except by the time your consultation comes it’s too late. Used them several times and every time there is also some kind of issue. Never again!
Total scam the call wouldn’t even answer, just hung up and said we had missed it. Tried again three times with the same result.
The consultation itself was great! Quick, professional, and without any issues. However, I was very disappointed with the billing process. Hola Health is unable to provide an invoice that includes the doctor’s name and provider number, which are essential details required by most private health insurers, for processing claims. Despite my request, they could only offer to send this information separately via email, which doesn’t meet insurance requirements. If you’re planning to claim the cost through your health fund, I recommend considering another provider who can issue proper documentation.
