Botched internal migration. Didn't update their own DNS records even though the domain is managed by them. Then the migrated site didn't load. Support took hours to reply whilst the site was offline. No emails received for ticket updates. No live chat, no phone support. Cpanel not accessible as the supplied login details were incorrect. Circus of errors.
I have used several internet providers over the years but have always found Heart Internet to be efficient and courteous. I had a minor issue with an email on one domain and raised a support ticket - the issue was resolved straight away and not impact on the operational effectiveness of the domain. Very impressive.
Customer service is non-existent! No access to our company mail accounts for soon 1 month. No phone support, no chat. I have opened tickets and every few days they send a question asking for some information that I already gave in my first message, then nothing again for several days, then a new person again asking the same thing. Unreal.

Reading other reviews I can see that times have been hard lately at Heart. Well, from what I can see they really are turning their situation around, with able techs who are going abouve-and-beyond. This Bank Holiday Weekend on two separate tickets I've dealt with two absolutely ace techs, Jason then Andrew. Detailed, thorough explanations, and totally hands-on. Couldn't ask for better. So much for my own recent entirely-good experience. I'd just like to mention this, in respect of some recent one-star I had become aware of a drop in service levels under previous ownership (pre 04/2024) but nothing I couldn't handle, and have subsequently learned that this was in the lead-up to their being "divested" (ouch!) by GoDaddy, The new owners are indeed turning it around. Recent negative reviews here seem to have come mainly from longer-standing users like me, and from what I can gather many of us have been compromised in all sorts of different ways by a handover issue, only recently uncovered, which has had a massive impact. Reading between the lines I think GoDaddy have been less than helpful with the resolution. But that's just a hunch. Okay, so perhaps instead of merely flagging that on the status page, Management could have emailed us old-schoolers to warn us, but on reflection that would just have escalated the panic. So no criticism intended. Management requires judgement. Anyways, with the present tech team ably fighting their war of attrition I believe we are once again in good hands.
I have been with Heart Internet for many years, but as soon as I can retrieve my account I will be leaving them. The Customer Service level is appalling. I run a business and I am without any access to my emails and I have received no response from my 'Ticket'. They offer a Live Chat and an Email request on their website, neither work! Customer loyalty seems to be zero. Really not sure what the award winning was for but it certainly wasn't CS!
I had an issue with managing the SSL certificate that I had purchased. Sent out a help message to HeartInternet and not only was my problem solved but the work was done for me by Andrew Welsby. Many thanks.

Bail out while you can. Like many other reviewers I am struggling with support. What's worse they are randomly bouncing emails. I have caught some - direct messages from my bank for example. I don't have a full picture of what's missing but I am aware that random emails go adrift with important things I need to attend to. I have raised it with support and they are slow and uninterested in getting to the bottom of the problem. They use a third-party mail filter called mailchannels which I have no visibility or control over. I suspect this snuck in when they were taken over.
Avoid. Having used Heart for a number of years it is disappointing that their standards have dropped significantly. I have been trying to change my hosting package since Jan 2025 unsuccessfully as they have been charging me for a product that I did not need. It is not possible to speak with anyone on the phone and despite advertising a 24hr response to support tickets, I often have to wait a number of days before getting any type of response. They make reference to online chat support but this is also not reliably available.
I've been with Heart Internet for a very long time and their customer support has always been great. If I've raised a ticket they've responded within hours. I also stayed with them because you could also call them if there was a major issue and get support that way. Since the takeover they seem to have lost the customer support all together. I have a major problem with my business emails and I've waited over 3 days for a reply on my ticket (supposed to be maximum 24 hours) and their 'live chat' function seems to have disappeared despite 'accepting cookies' as they suggest. Very disappointed indeed as they were a super company for many years and I feel powerless to address this problem without help. I will definitely change providers if the service doesn't improve soon!!
Not the first time I had to write a bad review for them, after they got took over it's been very poor company. They changed the server I was on and after that the upload times have made it impossible to operate, we have lost loads of business and they have done nothing to resolve the issue. I even clicked the emergency button to say site down and they still not offering any support. I am now in the process of moving to another provider.
Quick efficient and friendly. Heart always go the extra mile to help keep everything straight.
