    Very pleased with the service.

    Easy to arrange service, MOT and brake fluid change. No loan car was available but the dealership arranged a rental car for the day. Car was washed and hoovered before being returned to us. Very polite staff, as always.

    I turned up for the service only then…

    I turned up for the service only then to find out our service plan had lapsed, nothing telling us this prior form VW direct or the branch! I had to sort a new one before picking up the car that afternoon. A simple email to customers or a letter would really help in not only keeping customers paying for plans but also keep up good customer service. Our service lady said she'd get the car cleaned inside and out and on return to pick up right at the end of the day, our car was given back to us without any of this done. Really disappointed in this. Sent an email to let the service lady know this and she didnt reply.

    Requested the front and back wiper jets…

    Requested the front and back wiper jets were looked spoke to someone and logged it on a portal but was never done called every hour for 6 hours trying to speak to someone no answer even spoke with sales and they tried to put me through and that didn’t work. The day after I got my car a lady to know what my experience was like I told her and she said the manager would call me still no phone call. Shocking customer service

    Took some time to get through to book a…

    Took some time to get through to book a service. Had to cancel due to ill health which was not possible as no telephone option or online option available for cancellation. Rebooked but then it seems the messages with the booking centre don’t always go through to the VW centre the service is booked with. Then also found out the information about the service and the price quoted was different to that given when booking! Finally, the fuel cap falling off is not covered by the warranty? Ridiculous. Group 1 is not the best experience I’ve had!

    Toyota Corolla

    I recently purchased a used Toyota Corolla car from Derby Toyota branch. Kyle Greatrex made the process very easy and looked after me very well and kept me up to date throughout the process. Very impressed with his professional and friendly approach. The car was ready on the agreed date and time. I hope managment recognise Kyle's hard work and effort.

    Very poor after sales

    Overall, I wasn’t happy with my experience buying my Mercedes. All was good up till the point of be driving the car home. It experienced problems such as loose boot springs, navigation not working, drive assistance not working etc. I initially took the car to Mercedes of Northampton. However after chasing them for a week, the advisor informed me that they “forgot” to action anything so nothing had been done during this time. I then took it back to Mercedes of Cambridge, whilst in the end they did resolve all the issues. It was very frustrating as they would never update me, and I would constantly have to chase only to be told I would receive a call back and not ever receive one. All this is even more frustrating considering these issues were never picked up at any point prior to me driving the car away. The car was clearly not fit for sale at the time and this was not picked up at all.

    Promised a refund for a reservation fee, Having to go through small claims court and the FCA to get my money back. Do not deal with these people. Liars and fraud. Financial ombudsman is aware

    I have spent alot of money with vw…

    I have spent alot of money with vw dartford . I've brought 3 brand new vehicles the service with the first 2 was OK but the third one with cost alot more the service was diabolical the truck was scratched before we even picked it up they put a shutter on the back workmanship was so bad. I took a service plan out with it but I dont do alot of miles so by the time I had the last service the girls argue with me on the phone that I wasn't entitled to use it. Then because I didn't take no for a answer she said well your have to chase it up with the department. With I did the gentleman was very helpful and said yes you still have a service owning to you and put it on the system .told me to wait 24 hours the call dartford and book it in .which I did .....but I was had been waiting for Sophie to call me back but didn't so I called her ......and was told it wasn't on the system then said ill book you in and I'll get on to it .....so I turned up for my service and yes sussie and Sophie was on the front desks .Sophie said can I help you so I explained I'm booked in for a service a waiting one. She then said you haven't got a service plan .I explained I had spoken to her a week before she picked her phone up said ill have to get through to the service plan people which I said that's fine she didn't even use her phone and then just said take a seat which there was no spare seats so I had to sit on a chair at one of yhere desk . I was told hour wait it was more to hours very bad service department neither of the women have any people skills .it 4 days later and in still waiting for the quote for fluids and aircon to be done and also what they did .if your buying vw DONT use dartford

    My car has had issues since October 24

    My car has had issues since October 24, they had the car in and couldn’t fix it, then someone called Patrice messaged me to say they can now fix it. She never replies to messages. I call to book it in and collect the car, and it hasn’t even been checked or fixed. All they done was a recall. It completely has wasted my time and I’m so fed up with this dealership

    Work not done and fraudulent quotes for unnecessary work

    Booked an "Oil and Inspection Service" with Group 1 Skoda Norwich. All they did was an oil change and told me I needed to book a service!!! When I took the car back to them for the second time, it seems the reset the service light but they have given me a re-print of the paperwork from the Oil Change. I haven’t got the paperwork from the service checks. Still chasing nearly 2 months on. They also told me I had to have the timing belt replaced with the water pump which was wrong – so they were quoting £700 more for work than was necessary. Beware of Group 1 Skoda Norwich - they don’t perform work that has been booked, they do the bare minimum, you could be on the end of fraudulent quotes for additional work, and they are not responding to complaints. Have given up with this Group 1 main dealer – they really let the Skoda brand down Have started using "VAS Auto Specialist Centre, Norwich" and had a really good experience.

    Unfortunate Experience

    Unfortunately having already taken in my car to address an annoying rattling in the car - problem wasn’t resolved. Getting an appointment was worse than getting a doc appointment. Failed to tell me they would need more than one day to resolve the issue. When I went to pick-up my car they’d completed a service but not the rattling!! Ended up having to leave the car for 2 days. Do not feel the ‘service’ provide is even adequate, they have no regard for the time wasted. No option to have a courtesy car either.

    Awful experience from start to finish

    Awful experience from start to finish. My wife bought a used Yaris from Group 1 Toyota Nottingham - they lost the service book, said they would send it when it was located and a year later still waiting. They “forgot” to set up the years warranty which caused issues when it needed major repairs to its heater within that time. The car came back from its repair with front end damage and was off the road for a week at their body shop. It came back with the heater controls no longer working (they worked before) but claim that this is not their fault, even though they had taken all the heater and dashboard apart to replace major parts of the system, and want to charge £750 to fix it. Will now be seeking legal advice.
