This review relates to group 1 bmw chelmsford, i have had dealings with group 1 southend who have been quality throughout Utter lack of aftersales care Un-replied to phone calls and emails Said the MOT have been done at point of collection, which was a lie, sorry an "over sight by their service team" Sent the initial contract containing all of my personal details and the vin number etc of the car to the wrong email address, thankfully it wasnt an active address. Even when you email their main company, inchcape who say they will look into the situation and get back to you this doesnt happen, its been 4.5 months since my initial contact. To date i have no evidence of the warranty, the mot cover, the warranty for the gardx i paid for, details of the 12months breakdown cover they provide. I have emailer and phone'd on multiple occasions. In conclusion once they have your money and hand the car over thats it forget about any follow up service AT ALL. 2 months after the purchase the DPF needed replacing which cost me another £250 for excess on the warranty. I would avoid them at all costs!
