I recently purchased a car through Audi and had the absolute pleasure of working with Christopher Galvin. From the very beginning, Christopher was attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. He took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for and managed to find the perfect car that fit both my needs and my budget. The entire process was smooth and stress-free — a true testament to Christopher’s professionalism and dedication to customer satisfaction. Customer service is shocking. Car booked in for service. I live an hour away. Wait appointments and curtesy car booked months in advance. Called to see if options were available - told I would be called back after spending 2 hours trying to get through. Never got the callback to discuss. When arrived and explained just told those are your options though clearly none offered were suitable. Basically told I apologised for not getting back to you - so you will just have to wait! Once car bought the care disappears.
Very long story short is that my car went in to limp mode in March 2024 and was in the garage for 3 months. Group 1 JLR couldn't find what is wrong with it. Finally I got the car back and was advised that it was the injectors that were replaced. 3 times after this the engine light came on and I needed to call the RAC on a car that was 18 months old at the time. The RAC man advised it was DPF faults he was clearing. Knowing they had a bit of an issue, I left it at that. Since then I have been in touch with them telling them that the car just doesnt feel right and a loss of power sometimes when you go to pull away or gear change )on an auto). The engine light came on last week and it is in again. We have been authorised an enterprise replacement car but not to the same as what we already have. I have now been told that if I want a premium SUV, I need to insure it which is me being burdened with more cost. I have discussed giving the vehicle back as its been made substandard but to no avail. I think Martin Lewis or Citizens advice is my only port of call now.

Group 1 Land Rover Norwich have now had my car since 13 March ... 10 weeks for a repair after a breakdown. I bought this Evoque from the previous owners of this dealership and have only had it serviced at this dealership. I wrote a review on 12 May, heard from Group 1 the next day asking me to contact them via email, which I did, but have heard nothing from them since! Was told by dealership on 8 May that my car was now in the workshop and would only leave when it was fixed ... no other car would enter that workshop. Other than giving the go ahead for a £5000 repair, which I was told wouldn't take more than a day or two, I have heard nothing from them ... 12 days later and 76 days since they first recieved the car.
I’ve previously purchased from Group1 and I was looking at getting another vehicle, after the previous good experience I returned and went to my local Group1 retailer in Norwich. I saw Conor who, as last time, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable.
Car flagged up with mileage discrepancies online hpi check manager just brushed it off not interested in trying to sort it, said didn’t show up on there hpi but they don’t check national mileage register
Visited on the monday and had new car 2 days later.

Hi there our experience at Land Rover Derby was out of this world just like on a film set we couldn’t believe what we saw driving in was something never imagined we got introduced to Chloe cooper first rate very experienced put us at ease kept updating us all throughout the process very professional. Communication from start to finish was more than excellent complementary drinks and cakes , biscuits were on hand always helps too please inform your staff a big thank for making our experience enjoyable day and massive thank you to Chloe cooper she’s a credit to Land Rover Derby
Really good all round, very personable service and seemed to genuinely care about looking after me and the car, all was well organised and clear. I'm assuming they did a great job with the car too, but I'll mostly have to trust them on that one!

Well, I turned up a perusing visitor off the street.. I left a member of the family. From the get-go Mr. Oliver Fox was on hand to take care of everything; why that lad isn't running the sales department I don't know, I thought his last name was " Lurpak " the whole process seemed so smooth. He took us from ' debating about a family car ' to ' driving away in a lovely Q4 ' in less than a week, I think if it hadn't been for the weekend (and it being a Sunday!) he would have had us in there the same day. Couldn't thank him enough. Also, the way he was able to put us at ease throughout the transaction with any concerns about finance, practicality, charging expenses etc.. He even assured me he would handle the ' key handover ' personally whilst I was at work and my pregnant partner looked after our newborn. You would have thought we'd known him for years.

Went in for a new subframe was told it would take 3/4 days so i hired a car for a week as no car was offered. After 3 days was told they were not going to get on my car for another week even though it was booked in on the 12th of may they did the work on the 22nd of may. So had to book the hire car for 2 weeks instead. Then went to collect the car and it was filthy even though i asked for it to be washed. Will not be going back again.
