I'm a brittish geezer and I love my greggs sausage rolls 😋
Greggs in the bridges at Sunderland. Dirty tables, floor not swept and pigeons walking around. Disgusted at the state of the place.
I’ve been in 3 Gregg’s recently - each of places have been filthy with litter, and dirty toilets where the waste bins are overflowing. I’ve just left the Greg’s in Buchanan Galleries Glasgow and that was the worst so far - no one bothering to clean up. Is this standard applied in the cooking facilities I wonder? I won’t be back. Get your act together.
Bought two Yum Yums today and they were definitely not yummy. How long do you keep these on the shelf, days? Tasted stale and dry. Yuck yuck.
Picked up a free sweet treat from a local Greggs store and was met with a rude young lady who seemed to have a problem passing me my click and collect order. She then said something under her breath and gave me a dirty look. I just said thanks and left.
Quality food at a decent price.
I ordered food via Just eat to be delivered. Pizza box (6 slices) Amongst other things. When it arrived it was absolutely missing all it's toppings and slices sandwiched together. Now this is probably more fault with crappy delivery service but you are responsible for my food until it arrives with me. It definitely was edible. I selected for a refund through Just Eat but it looks like that didn't go through either. Not good enough. Looking at your reviews and super poor by the way you'd think you'd want more from your business. Just be better.
The quality of the food has reduced, baguettes are smaller and poor finished quality, no meat and potato pasty anymore is a big shame and the sausage roll pastry is powdery which it never used to be. All in all very disappointed with greggs now and won’t be going there again sadly!
Went to Gregg's at hessle road and was really disappointed got steak bakes that were full of gristle. Then the toilet is absolutely filthy how off putting is that. Don't think I'll ever go to Gregg's again.
Greggs was always known as value for your money...which is why they were popular. However the drinks prices have soared I must have be going there for a number of years, and it seems the prices just kept going up and up over a short space of time and not by a few pence example by 25 pence!!! And the sausage rolls went up, also cakes and rest of bakery items by a considerable amount and quite honestly they are not great to be putting prices up that high and so often. I wont be going there again to greggs ( pound bakery is just as nice and lots cheaper) Greggs you have let loyal customers down so badly people have had enough of greggs thinking people are stupid and will pay their prices (greggs you lose) for being greedy
Greggs is to busy opening 100’s of new stores and thinks hard working honest people will pay for it for them by increasing its prices for greasy, sloppy poor quality slop. £3:45 for 4 cookies is an absolute joke!! Sooner people stop buying this slop, sooner they’ll collapse. They say price increases are to pay staff, that obviously doesn’t include training any of them! Nothing is even warm, let alone hot. Don’t understand why people even go there anymore, a sausage roll costs 6 times more than they used too, why?? Absolute rip off company!!
I use Greggs every morning for my breakfast. To be honest sometimes I look at the sausage egg and bacon roll and think that it has been thrown together by a 6 year old child ! How ever at Gregg's Carlton hill Nottingham I was served by a chap called Gary and not for the 1st time , and the roll looked like it had just jumped off of the advert! It was absolutely perfect. Looked great and tasted great ! So credit where credit is due keep up the good work Gary , you are a credit to Greggs and your profession!
Just a amazing breakfast!
Greggs do the best pan au chocolate I always go to greggs they are delicious and the prices are the same as everywhere else
Popped into Gregg’s west wickham today and I want to say…. Wow! Great customer service from a lovely young girl named Emily, she was very knowledgeable and helpful, you don’t find that kind of professionalism in every shop, she is an absolute credit to the store. Great choice of food and drink and a lovely seating area which was very clean and tidy. Great experience for my first visit. Will definitely be back again. 5 stars.
Greggs Uxbridge Stockley Park We recently visited this location during lunchtime and experienced a wait time of over 10 minutes, which seemed excessive for purchasing a few items. When contacting headquarters to understand their service benchmarks, they were unable to provide clear expectations or targets, leaving customers unsure of what is considered reasonable. The service was disorganised and unfriendly, with long queues likely due to insufficient staff training and poor peak-time management. Despite providing similar feedback a year ago, no improvements have been made by the area manager or headquarters. Greggs should consider implementing clear service time goals, enhancing staff training, and improving queue management during busy hours to provide a more efficient and pleasant customer experience.
Had the app 6 months now. Greggs is Greggs but the app is easy to use for what I need.
Greggs just out control increases prices for all foods but it's clear customers are getting a less smaller cakes. £1.40 apple danish no apple. Sausage roll cost for water juice alone with other foods. Customer are being taken for idiots am never going back to Gregg's staff need training Greggs are not worth it.
I’m lucky I think but I understand everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Central London Leicester square , Kentish town , wood green , epsom , haringey green lanes and many other branches I’ve had no issues with and happy with their service. I am patient unlike some I understand need to rush to get to work . I am patient so I wait for something to come out hot. Although many complain about staff, remember some are young recruits who need time to learn at greggs. I notice everyone turns up about same time so more pressure on staff . Anyway I’m happy with the service and I occasionally buy from Iceland Gregg’s for home baking . Thanks at the branches I mentioned, sorry if I missed some. In all thanks to Gregg’s as a whole and again even If I wait 5 to 10 minutes for something hot coming from the oven I’m happy to wait
Now I'm not a great fan of this chain of shops ie pie's pasties sausage rolls not hot just warm and on the verge of cold also some of the shop staff in the ones i have been in ,well need consumer service training. But the only reason I shop in this branch,Wythenshawe is that the customer service is amazing. The branch manager is brilliant the staff are brilliant. I start work early morning about 7.30 but I like to chill before I go in. So I order a vegetarian sausage barm and a tea. If there not ready the manager always says how long it would be if its to long to wait I say its ok I'll just have a tea. She apologise, and means it. Even the staff don't fob you off by saying we haven't gott any. They actually ask. Brilliant. Now ever time I go in the food warmer, there's a shelf with vegetarian sausage barms 😃 ready and if not the manager sees me and looks in the oven and if there ready she gets it ready, obviously after asking what I'm having. BRILLIANT SERVICE. It shows that this manager knows her customer's. It makes you not just be a customer but sort of a friend? Overall still won't waste my money on there pastries. But vegetarian sausage barms all day long, but only from here. Haven't tried any other branch, yet. The manager should be given a pat on the back and also all the staff. We'll done 😃 😊 The Hub, UA, 4 Ledson Rd, Wythenshawe M23 9GB

Greggs receives a mixed reception from customers, with a significant number expressing dissatisfaction. While some reviewers appreciate the friendly staff and good service at specific locations, such as the Kilmarnock and Bath Road stores, many others report serious issues. Common complaints include cold food being served, with multiple customers noting that items they purchased were not hot despite being assured otherwise. Additionally, there are concerns about food quality, with reports of unsanitary conditions and a decline in the traditional recipes that once defined the brand. Customers also mention poor management, such as running out of popular items early in the day. Overall, while there are pockets of positive experiences, the overwhelming sentiment leans towards disappointment.
