Greggs have no interest in British Foods or Culture. Greggs Sausage Rolls in 2025 only contain 18 percent Pork! They used to be made with 72 percent Pork but Greggs chosen to scrap British Culture and... See more

VISITED GREGGS TODAY IN PEACEHAVEN EAST SUSSEX SAUSAGE ROLL WAS OVERCOOKED,STEAK SLICE WAS COLD,THIS WAS MY FIRST VISIT AND LAST!
Today I was charged for an additional sandwich, which I never took, was never on the counter, and even told the lady at the till, when going though the list again, that it's not there. She still put it on the bill and I only saw that long after leaving. A couple of weeks ago, before ordering, I specifically asked for the receipt, but they forgot to print it and afterwards they did not manage to print it out at all. That was a reimbursable order, for which I am stil trying to find a way to be reimbursed. Both cases happened in their store on New Road, Gravesend.
its the most beautiful thing in the world enough to make me cry
John Lennon airport Greggs is a joke get there 10:30 to order breakfast lady we sold out the breakfast….. wow not finish at 11? Disgusting customer service
The location at one stop shopping center in birmingham was actually quite rude to someone whos eaten at Gregg’s almost everyday for years. They lie at their job interview just to get the job and then get tired of having to show up and end up taking out their personal life problems on customers. No matter how many customers they lose Gregg’s they’ll still demand their paycheck though. Well good job because 1 more customer will avoid the company and youll continue to pay the employees who dont care and are only there for a paycheck as they embarrass your company and lose you customers which means you lose income wnd revenue.
Toilets were dirty. Felt very tired and neglected. Not just in expected areas like the toiket itself but hand dryer was covered in marks sink basin was grubby. Customers need to take some responsibility though, no need to drop toilet roll on floors people!@ The Floors of shop were dirty with food and drink spills and crumbs etc and dusty. Clearly not cleaned for a while as dust doesn't gather in minutes!! Staff were professional and polite but shop needed better hygiene
Glebe road - Scunthorpe - Absolutely shocking service but not from the staff from the higher management, the region manger Dave does not know how to run a shop , he lets the staff get away with calling up sick all the time resulting in the shop being closed due to staff shortages, he lets certain staff decide when they want to work when their contact states weekends are included meaning the same people are having to work all weekends, most of the loyal staff are leaving due to bad treatment from Dave , they need a new region manager who is going to listen to his team. The Glebe road store use to be one of the best but now due to poor management it is now terrible. I hope the head office takes note of this and take action. Listen to the public for once
I visit the Lincoln St Peter’s store often, and I’ll be honest - there’s a reason I stopped using one closer to me in favour of this one. The team are helpful and friendly, and while I’m embarrassed that I’m enough of a regular that they can put a face to a name; they always ensure my order is ready to go. Special shoutout to Toni, who packed my order today - immaculate presentation (which I definitely wouldn’t expect from a Greggs) and a super friendly hand off. Thank you for making my day a little bit better!
I would like to thank all the staff at Greggs high street Epsom. I regularly place a large order for my team of 40 from a local business and they always helpful and polite. The order is always freshly cooked and no complaints from my team. The shop is always busy with customers and deliveries. I would say that customer’s just need to be a little more mindful and patient sometimes as they can only serve one customer at a time and they are always under pressure. Great experience from me and will return soon for more..
Very poor quality. Shame on Greggs marketing team for bigging up what is absolute junk.
the customer service was very good and they employees were very nice when i was buying my stuff before i went to college
The shop opens at 07:00. I entered the shop at 07:05. On display were a several sausage rolls, Steak bakes, chicken bakes, and katsu bakes. I said to to young girl " I assume everything is warm?" " No, everything is cold" was the reply. I said "you only opened 5 minutes ago, why aren't they warm?" And was told that they were cooked before opening. Why is it when the shop opens at 07:00 that freshly cooked items are cold 5 minutes after opening? Surely as a business, you time this to ensure hot food on opening. Poorly managed shop and business overall.
Popped into Wells Greggs near closing time to collect my items, two young gentlemen (Ben and Mike) behind the counter had done a wonderful job of separating and labeling all my food. In addition to that, I took notice of a very clean, kitchen floor and dining area which must have recently been done. They both were professional and friendly and I complimented them on everything before leaving. Well done fellas!
Just been to Waverley market shop. The girl that served me was really nice. I’m afraid I can’t say the same for the tall gentleman who works in the back possibly manager I’m not sure. On entering the shop he said excuse me and waited till I moved myself and suitcase out of his way although he could have easily gone round me. He also approached the counter from the back with a colleague and completely ignoring the girl served their selves. This may not mean much to some people but I believe you are representing Greggs at all times when on the premises and be aware you are judged on your behaviour.
Greggs in Halstead continues to offer hard, cool hash browns, and by 9.30 am the sausages and bacon are getting solid too. It's a pity to let the brand down, as pastries are as nice as ever. Also in Halstead, the staff are dispirited and terribly slow.
Queue a mile long every morning with one person serving.
A quiet and relaxing atmosphere with friendly staff and all the tasty treats that you know and love from sausage rolls to bakes and doughnuts and eclairs. However I can't give it full marks due to the toilet being closed and the coffee tasting so bitter that I ended up throwing it away. Also the ceiling lights are so low I hit my head on them when sitting at a table.
Awful experience, staff very rude and offhand. Male member of staff had long greasy hair, very off putting and foreign woman who didn’t understand English. Purchased drinks and biscuits, asked to use their toilet, I have a medical card stating that due to a medical condition I need the toilet. Staff denied they had a toilet. I definitely don’t advise a visit. Where do they use the toilet and wash their hands? There were more than 10 seats in the cafe, legally they are obliged to have a toilet.
Normally I have a very good experience at Greggs , but this time not so much . Was in Leeds and wanted a bacon sandwich for myself and husband .. the woman at the Merrion centre store was absolutely horrid .. Instead of stating politely that they didn’t have bacon / sausage , bread left she snapped at we haven’t got that at everything we asked for after , making us feel like we’d asked her to hand over £1000 .. so much so we decided to take our custom elsewhere , there’s simply no need for that kind of attitude when we’d simply asked for a bacon sandwich at breakfast time . I suggest she needs retraining on how to deal with customers or leaves customer facing jobs entirely as it’s obvious she wasn’t happy been there . I don’t like complaining but I also don’t like been spoken to like cxx either .

Greggs receives a mixed reception from customers, with a significant number expressing dissatisfaction. While some reviewers appreciate the friendly staff and good service at specific locations, such as the Kilmarnock and Bath Road stores, many others report serious issues. Common complaints include cold food being served, with multiple customers noting that items they purchased were not hot despite being assured otherwise. Additionally, there are concerns about food quality, with reports of unsanitary conditions and a decline in the traditional recipes that once defined the brand. Customers also mention poor management, such as running out of popular items early in the day. Overall, while there are pockets of positive experiences, the overwhelming sentiment leans towards disappointment.
