Opening day woes

I appreciate it was opening day at the new store in Plympton and there was going to be a lot of teething issues but this review is from the perspective of a visually impaired person. Firstly there were no disabled parking bays as they had been used by people who did not have blue badges, the trolleys were not free and didn't look new as I expected from a new store and the overall layout of the store was very confusing but maybe that's just because I'm visually impaired. As for the staff I only really spoke to one who I suspect was the manager who was quizzing customers as they went through the till but not only did he seem shocked that my friend and I had only bought 10 small items but also did not believe me when I said I was visually impaired. As for the customer toilets I had mixed feelings as the disabled toilet could be used by anyone and did not have a radar key lock on the door so I had to wait quite a while. I did not sample the offerings at the cafe as by the time my friend and I had queued up for our small basket of goods (roughly 20-25 mins) we just wanted to get out of there. Oh this store also has a garden section which was as you'd expect from a garden section although places like Chaplins which is also in Plympton has a much better selection. Overall a mixture of good and not so good with my final musing being that with it's narrow aisles and confusing layout it's probably not the best place for anyone in a wheelchair or someone on the autistic spectrum with social anxiety issues as its a very overwhelming place but then it was opening day as I said at the start.
