Dont listen to sales man he lies!!!!

I had my boiler fitted 2 years ago and all been fine up until recently. It was only when my thermostat stopped working and telling the boiler what to do i realised what an error i had made. I had been informed by the sales man that warranty was 10 years, that it was interest free loan and service was included. I also had issue with leaking radiator which i was told would be fixed too. When they ring you to confirm details of installation and warranty etc listen carefully and walk away. It was a hard sell and i wish i had cancelled then. Overpriced and hard sell techniques used. Yes i should of walked away then and kick myself for not doing. PLEASE BE WARNED AND DONT TAKE THE SALES MAN AS SPEAKING THE TRUTH AS HE REALLY DOESNT!!!

avoid at all costs!

In July 2022 I recieved a leaflet through the post where this company offered a boiler on a government backed scheme, when they came to discuss it, right at the end told me I’m not eligible for the government scheme and gave me a quote, as I needed the boiler (old one was condemned) I reluctantly agreed to pay, I wasn’t made aware that the agreement was an interest first agreement! Then when the engineer installed it I started having issues, we had very heavy rainfall and water was coming in through the flue and in flooding the boiler and kitchen, the same engineer came back out and “fixed” the issue only for it to happen again, we requested a different engineer to come and have a look, when they looked into it we found that the original guy had filled the gap with loose pieces of brick then a thin layer of cement, and the cement hadn’t dried before the rainfall, the new guy did a much better job of it, the inside of the kitchen wall was left in a bad state but at that point we just wanted nothing more to do with the company! I asked for compensation at the time and was refused as they felt the service provided was sufficient! Now 2 years later I discovered the amount I owe is WAY more than what the retail value of the boiler and labour and to avoid nearly £1500 in interest I would need to pay £4100 to clear the finance! AVOID at all costs, rip off merchants!

Fantastic service from Fastgas

Had our new 30 Ideal combi boiler installed just over a month ago, I can say that Mike & I are simply over the moon with everything, A sales agent called James came to our home and we both have to say what a lovely, friendly, helpful chap he was, (likes his coffee) he really put our doubts at ease & gave us the confidence to go ahead. We signed up & got our new ideal standard boiler installed two days later, the Hive controller thing takes some getting used to but we put that down to our ages…. The plumbers were both excellent & also very friendly, The whole job was completed within 3 hours, they explained everything to us both, We are two very happy customers. Well done fastgas! We will certainly be recommending this company to our friends.

Gas Fast a fantastic boiler installation from start to finish. The installation team Joe Chris & Kieron did a professional and fantastic job . Well done lads you’re a credit to Gas Fast . One very very very pleased customer. Most definitely would recommend Gas Fast to anyone who needs a new Gas boiler fitting , Excellent Customer service before & after installation day from Toni at Gas Fast Dave & Chele .

Excellent service

Had a call from Gas Fast and was a bit dubious. A salesman called James came round and he was extremely friendly and very helpful explaining everything. The Boiler was fitted quick and no mess. Excellent service and would deffo recommend using them as I’m really pleased with the end results.well done Gasfast & James

Chris was very helpful in explaining all the details about the new boiler and the next day Rick who was very friendly came round and got it fitted very quickly and professionally. Highly recommended to anyone with an old boiler

DO NOT USE GAS FAST

Received an unsolicited call from Gas Fast. Salesman (David) attended seemed very nice convinced us to purchase. New central heating and boiler. Contractors arrived (not employed by Gas Fast nothing good to say about them)an hour later equipment to be fitted delivered incorrect radiator sizes agreed on price. Several conversations later agreed to honour 2 ordered. Fitted. Left with 3 holes at front of house, squealing boiler unable to use and not all radiators working. Contacted salesman as no contact, terms or details left after installation rude and unhelpful. Now blocked my calls. Gas Fast contact advise to ring IDEAL myself as 10 year guarantee! Boiler not worked since this install? Been trying to sort this since!They do not care, no customer service disgusting. Left no boiler working and expected to pay over 10 years. Now will need to have independent gas survey carried out as no faith been fitted correctly or even new. I have worked constantly through Covid Pandemic for NHS and this is how people are treated! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY this stress I really did not need. I cannot believe this company is allowed to continue to trade they are a joke. Update just contacted IDEAL myself to find Gas Fast have not even registered my boiler for the Warranty! Why does that not surprise me. I have no words …

STAY AWAY FROM GAS FAST AT ALL COST, OUR BOILER WAS FITTED JUST OVER A YEAR, THE FIRST PROBLEM WE HAVE THE HOT WATER CONSTANTLY ON FOR MORE THAN A WEEK BEFORE THE COWBOY WORKMEN COULD FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET THE HIVE TO WORK,THE FIRST ELECTRICIAN WIRED IT UP WRONG .IF YOU THINK THAT WAS BAD BRITISH GAS CAME TO SERVICE THE BOILER AND FOUND A WATER LEAK ON TOP OF THE BOILER WHICH MAKE THE HOUSING OF THE BOILER STARTED TO RUST BECAUSE OF HOW BAD IT’ WASTHEY REFUSE TO SERVICE THE BOILER .DON’T FORGET YOU NEED AN ANNUAL SERVICE FOR YOUR WARRANTY TO BE VALID,THE WARRANTY IS WITH IDEAL BOILER NOT GAS FAST, IDEAL BOILER SAY THAT THE PROBLEM IS WITH THE FITTER,GAS FAST SEND AN ENGINEER OUT THE ENGINEER USED SAND PAPER TO GET RID OF SOME OF THE RUST THAT HE COULD REACH. WE PHONE GAS FAST BACK SAYING WE NOT HAPPY THEY OFFER ME THREE YEARS FREE SERVICE BECAUSE BRITISH GAS DON’T WANT TO SERVICE THE BOILER, WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO AFTER THE THREE YEARS FREE SERVICE IS UP ONLY GOD KNOWS I WISH I COULD PUT THE PICTURE UP, WE ARE WAITING ON ANOTHER INSPECTION FROM BRITISH GAS. Landlords gas and electricity safety…

Landlords gas and electricity safety check work. gas ok electrical inspection carried out but after 3 weeks and several chases no paper work. should be renamed gas SLOW. eventually got money back and went elsewhere WILL NOT RECOMMEND..YES GOT YOUR REPLY MR GAS FAST AND ITS NOT GOOD ENOUGH- EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE ELECTRICALLY...Wont be back for ANY future work and I don't believe you chased daily because every time I contacted you it was the same answer "we will get in touch with electrician " but I still had to phone back to get any response.

Discussed what it was all about with…

Discussed what it was all about with rep James on Wednesday, decided to go ahead as our existing boiler was almost 18 years old & not a combi. Work commenced & finished on Friday. No mess, all the old tanks boiler etc taken away. Very pleased with the result. Would recommend highly.
