Waiting for a refund 3 months on. Would never order from these again

Items not as expected. Not easy to return items. Too costly return postage. Probably won’t use again.

Very good efficient delivery and really comfortable trousers also had so many compliments about them would definitely recommend x

Cheap feeling material for the price paid, then got the shock of having to pay an arm and a leg for return postage, not made explicit when ordering through Debenhams website. Wouldn’t order from here again! Avoid! Response to reply - I understand places have to charge for returns but making this more explicit when buying would be better - having purchased 4 dresses from the Debenhams website, I’ve now ended up having to pay for 4 separate return fees even though I ordered from one website, don’t feel like this is very fair at all!

Clothes were nice but sizing was off. I will never order again because you are charged p&p for delivery and for return so I had to pay £8 to try on two dresses that were sized big.

I ordered a dress and it was lovely! Just didn’t look right on me unfortunately. I opted to do a return & was given confirmation that my item was received on the 2nd of June. 14 days later which is today I have been advised my refund has been processed. The company clearly states that it takes up to 14 days to process refunds so although it took the whole 14 days they still abided by there timescales which I think is great. I emailed a few times to get an update on my refund and I was always responded to quickly and informatively. I love some of the pieces they sell and I would recommend to order directly with the company. Update My return has been processed today but I haven’t received the funds just yet. Will update my review once I’ve received the funds so I can give an accurate timeline. Update 18/06 I have filed a charge back as I still haven’t received a refund. I’ve been shown screenshots that the refund has been processed “outside of there time line” but it still hasn’t been credited to my account. Update 26/06/2025 My bank advised me not to cancel the chargeback against them so I didn’t. They reverted my refund which means I still haven’t received it lol. Decided to leave this with visa & I won’t be ordering from them again it’s not worth the faff! Surely they could have sent the refund and rejected my chargeback. Makes no sense! Update 05/07/2025 The company have rejected my chargeback lol. Visa are still working on it as I’m completely within my rights to receive my refund. Guys honestly if you’re reading this review DO NOT order. This is seriously a joke. Response to the person who messaged back. I have an email from my bank to state you rejected the chargeback and they needed to further investigate. So if there’s an option where I can upload that to this review then please share because I will!! Since my last update my bank has refunded me the full amount of the chargeback thank god. You are the liars!!!! Why would I go to all this trouble to lie about my review. I started off this review in such a positive light. I was giving an honest account of my dealings and time frame’s. The way you responded is shocking and clearly you show no respect to your customers and have no business acumen. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

I just got my order today and when I opened it much to my surprise the wrong dress was in the bag, I was sent out a completely different dress to wat I had ordered

Love the website and the fact there are fashionable, colourful options for plus sized women. Delivery was quick and I'm very happy with my item. I kept my item but it appears returns would be hassle free. 10/10 experience for me... Thank you..

Delivery was very good and very easy to return. Although both orders were nice but just not for me. Maybe not everyone wants the really bold fabrics sometimes a bit more subtle

Excellent videos showing different sized women ranging from size 14 upwards. I purchased two items size 14 which were promptly delivered. Fantastic dresses, so easy to wear, and with a slight stretch. Brilliant company. Would definitely recommend. ✔️✔️✔️

I received an email on 15th April from Fashion SZN to say they had received my return and I would receive a refund within 14 days. Today is 28th May and I have still not received my refund. Whole situation is stressing me out. I think I may have to take Legal advise on this one.

If I could give 0 star I would! I sent my package back 19days ago and still have not got my refund! If nothing gets done in the next 2-3 days I will be taking this further! Why the hell boohoo is even associated with them Is beyond me. You are quick enough to take my money, but not quick enough to give it back. I tried to do it through boohoo but they said it was down to you as you are the brand I purchased through so I have got my facts straight. I dont understand why a refund is so complicated, looking at other reviews I am not the only one. I do not appreciate the attuide I have received all because I want my money back as I have returned the dress that did not fit. I'm not asking for the world. Carry on messing me about I will be going the local ombudsman.

Bought a beautiful dress looks better than te image great fit

Have been waiting forever for the refund even though they have had the dress back. Was disappointed with the material in the dress for the price they are charging They should take some examples from dresses from new look for big sizes , variation of style, good materials and a fair price

Received order after 1st order went missing they was extremely quick in resolving issue however dress had awful smell to material plus didn't suit so returned.

Bought direct off site, delivery was fast enough for dress, dress was nice but to big for me, Return portal didn’t work so emailed them 2/3 times before I got a reply, communication was good enough after that they received returned dress on the 28th april, i received email to say would receive refund within 14 days which would have been yesterday due to bank holiday weekend, still no refund received, emailed them yesterday they said it would be processed the same day, emailed them today to see if it was refunded they said it was done yesterday but could take few days to go to bank, received another email today to say it being processed but could take up to 10 days to get it in bank, if it supposed to be done within 14 days then that how it should be done, would put me off buying again to much hassle. I don’t know how that review was left for this shop as was supposed to be for curve wow

Very slow refunds if you ever get one. I returned an item which through tracking I can see was delivered back to them on the 15th of April. I received no confirmation the return had been accepted or that a refund would be issued. After over 3 weeks of waiting I sent an email to check on its progress and was told it would be chased up. I had to then send another email a week later as I still didn’t have an update or a refund. I eventually had a response saying it would be issued but again I’m still waiting 6 weeks later for this. I definitely wouldn’t recommend them but make sure you check when returning items that you get your money back! In response, I received an email from the fashion szn Team yesterday with image showing the refund was not processed until the 14th of May, so the fact it was issued as soon as received is not true, an apology without accuses blaming it on others would be appreciated.

Absolutely fantastic range and true to size fitting. 4 dresses purchased and everyone always asks where they are from. Keep up the range.

Lovely dresses can’t fault the designs, fabric ect, the only reason I dropped a star is I’m STILL waiting on my refund. I have emailed & they have updated me saying it was done yesterday (day 13) but still feels a lengthy time to wait for a refund even if it’s in their timeframe (if I receive it in my bank today) but maybe I’m just use to the bigger companies refunding your money within a couple of days.
