My apartment was not getting the number and quality of views I hoped for through a High Street agent so I went with Express Estate Agency in the hope of accelerating the process. I was not disappointed - it sold at a fair price within the month. I felt supported throughout and the agent, Shane, definitely negotiated a better price than I could have achieved alone.

Do be aware that whilst Express Agency will tell you that you may withdraw at any time from the contract you hold with them, this is not actually true. They will hold you to the 16 weeks, and even after that time, they will say it takes 28 (TWENTY EIGHT) days to end the contract. Ridiculous.

Luke Vecchione was very helpful in arranging viewings at a time to suit us and providing guidance on the purchase. Communication was prompt and sale documents were prepared without delay. A fast and efficient service all round - much appreciated!

Friendly efficient service

Awful is the summary! This company talked the talk and sold me a brilliant dream of service but the reality was totally different. I was misled by the team who convinced me to switch to them from my previous agent. I was told all viewers would be vetted and proceed-able. This was absolute nonsense. The whole system is automated and I had the worst experience, my sales negotiator never communicated with me or let me know what was happening and I had to chase them up for details after viewings constantly. I was told to put a mixed between x-y “guide” price but this actually just lowered the price of what was expected by buyers and again felt misled on this. People viewing the house complained that they couldn’t get hold of anyone. People wanted to ask questions and couldn’t get through. I had several issues with the service and requested to make a complaint and was completely ignored. Even now over a month later since this request I’ve had no response and am now having to go through the property ombudsman. That’s how bad it is. In the end I had to negotiate the sale myself because they couldn’t be relied upon. Avoid them at all costs! Awful, misleading, terrible communication, deceit, poor customer service, poor procedures.

She has everthing to sale the serices. She is ompent and answers queries honestly.

Lola was really nice and helpful. The sale on my house is not yet complete so I can’t comment on that process, however the customer service of the team so far has been excellent

no one turned up for meeting

Took advantage of our inexperience in purchasing a home and asked us to pay 150 pounds to get the process started after our offer was accepted. Later on it became evident that this was (seemingly) to engage their recommended conveyancers to act for us (not communicated nor asked - we had our own conveyancer). Perhaps my fault for paying it without challenging the request but I have since asked many times to have this refunded and for the invoice for the payment. All requests over a few weeks have been flatly ignored. This is from a Sales Manager no less. Needless to say, I will be avoiding this company in the future.

You did what you said in the letter that you first wrote to me . Lots of people looking to buy houses. Yes I’ve had lots of viewings that was set at the time allocated was appreciated. You informed me about what was happening with the viewing .
