EWT serviced my system and in the process something broke in the system resulting in resin flowing through the house and blocking all taps, dishwasher, washing machine, showers, etc. I have traded numerous mails, phone calls but they keep avoiding me. That was August and now it is December. Now I have serious issues and they have walked away from their responsibilities. Despite years of being a customer it doesn’t matter when things go wrong (which I can understand but that’s when you show your true colours). Be very careful everyone
the cost of the salt is increased drastically. EWT used to sell 25kg salt bag for £7 in 2019. But now to my surprise, Salt bag weight is reduced to 15kg and cost is increated£12.50, with a minimum order of 10 bags.

Edit:Problem is resolved now with help of customer services. On time of selling world is promised (including service from accumulated credit for next year and use it with salt order) and when time came for servicing it is now expensive and all of credit earned in so called app cannot be used anymore as app is developed now and applied restrictions on purchased items to only allow partial usage of credit. Applied rule on credit collected even way before app was developed. Sent 2 emails and called 2 times but no response at all. Product is good but customer services is non existing. Mis selling at best and applying new rules to existing credit and customers
EWT not only offer a great product at a great price, their service plan means that I have peace of mind. The annual service keeps my equipment in tip top condition and the engineer who visited today could not have been more helpful or charming. Ten out of ten!
Fantastic service. Immediate response with an engineer sent out within two days for a call-out. All done under the service plan. Engineer was knowledgeable and courteous.

Had installation last month, so far no issues and water is soft, much difference on bathroom taps. Definitely recommend the product for the price. Alex was good, installation completed in an hour.

I bought their (EWT) water softner last year. I was told that time, I need to replace water filter every year, and it would cost around £30, and there are no additional service is needed for it. This year, on expiry of 12 month, when I try to find the filter from EWT Water, they are telling there is no direct option to buy water filter. I need to take maintenance service, which would cost me £132. When I asked them, that I need only water filter, nothing else, they ultimate given me option to get it, and it would cost me £80. Where outside it is £30, they don't bother to keep promises. They mis-sold the water softner, by telling no other charge is needed to continue their product, but that's not the case. I am totally frustrated, and when I asked them to take product, and give me the money refund, their customer service is telling, there is no option to return. It is totally dissatisfied service. And I will urge people not to get trapped from EWT Water.
Don't want to write a negative review but have to do so - first time due to the bad experience I have had with EWT. From other reviews on this site, it's seems its a common theme / same experience with other people as well. 1. EWT installation caused damage to kitchen units. 2. After EWT engineer visits, an agreement was made on compensation (repair costs based on quotes received) including 3 years service + salt with Ryan. Was informed that he'll put notes on his system so that even he is not there, it will be done without any issues. 3. when contacted initially, was informed that it will start from next year. When contacted after a year, after chasing a few times, provided 5 bags of salt to cover the whole one year. 5 bags would normally last for 4 months. 4. Have been trying to get in touch with EWT's Ryan (who I can see is responding here) via emails and phone calls but no response whatsoever. Very poor customer service - can't imagine / expect this from a UK company.
Very easy to make appointment for service and communication form them very informative. Engineer arrived on time very polite and and carried out work very efficiently. Gave clear explanation of all the work he had done.

Couldn't be happier with my new water softener. Easy to order and Vlad done the installation for us. He was, quick friendly and informative. We even got a new tap for filtered drinking water too which looks like part of the sink. Highly recommended
