Made sure everything was sorted in the background. Emailed with updates and took care of everything without too much input from me.

Used Enact to remortgage. Pretty smooth process, kept informed throughout. Got a response via the messaging option when needed and got through on the phone every time I called. Would use Enact again.
Very good company to deal with. Highly recommend.
once I got used to the digital interface it was a breeze.especially with live chat instant support as well as phone options. recommend this for future conveyancing.
Professional with matters handled quickly, generally a very good experience regardless of whom we spoke with on many occasions. Efficient and polite company to work with
Excellent throughout the service
Had a horrible experience with them. I wish I had seen the reviews of people here before starting my remortgage. I got a very decent remortgage deal with a Llyods for 5 years for my house. I accepted the mortgage offer in March 2025. My current mortgage with Halifax was finishing on 31st May so we had ample time to sort out all the legal stuff. I was told on 21st March that there is some restriction on my house and they have to get a compliance letter from the housing company and they would charge a fee of £75 for that. At that time, I didn't feel it would be that much of an issue. What I did not know was that it will take ages for them to get that letter. It's 28th May today and they still haven't got the right letter. 3 weeks ago, when I asked them to escalate, I was told that they cannot escalate it and that I should escalate on my own behalf. And that's what I did. Called the housing company myself, spoke to them, got the email of the right person and finally she sent them a letter only for them to send it back stating it was the wrong type of document. And then when she did send the right document, they again rejected it stating that there are more details to be added. I mean why can't you explain everything to them in a simple language and get the dam letter in one go ? Now if this doesn't get sorted out before 31st May, my current mortgage deal will go from fixed to variable rate from 1st June and my monthly payments will go up from £1516 to £1998 (almost 500 poounds extra). I kept reminding them to hurry up to avoid this extra payment but they don't seem to care whatsoever. If you look at other people's reviews. They have done it to so many people and poor people had to pay 1000s of pounds extra because of Enact's sheer negligence and inefficiency. Anyways, I am not one of them, I have cancelled my remortgage with Llyods and will continue my mortgage with Halifax. The rate is a bit higher but at least I wouldn't waste 500 pounds because I work hard to earn rightful money. Lastly, I paid them £85 pounds for that certificate fee. And when I asked them to refund it, they refused stating that it is paid to the housing company. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE
Sold a house via modern method auction for my first time, meaning sale needed completion within 56days. Enact ensured this was possible. I was fortunate to have Courtney as the case worker. She was friendly, efficient & professional. I really like the online portal as it enables you to read documents & send messages outside of normal office hours. Great communication. Highly recommended, thank you.
Really happy with their service, can't recommend them enough. We are first time buyers, we were recommended Enact Conveyancing from my friend who used them before. We are really lucky to have found them. Everything went very smoothly from start to finish, really professional team, the had a case tracker and we could see the updates and our case progresses. Whoever I spoke to, I felt that they really know what they are doing, that really helps considering the stressful nature of buying house. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.
Enact was very professional in handling my case and did a fantastic job.
Would never use no one else from start to beginning through my remortgage they have been excellent questions answered straight away all on mo online portal to
Excellent service from start to finish.
We were remortgaging with NatWest and Enact were conveyancers - the whole process has been horrific, we ended up on a SVC due to enact doing absolutely nothing for the best part of 8 weeks. They've even admitted bad handling and hace cost me around 2k as a result. After complaining they offered £250 as good will gesture which is actually insulting - they complaints process is also appalling and clearly purposely delaying the custom complaining to the FOS - biggest bunch of cowboys I've come into contact for a very long time....... Avoid at all costs!!!
Thanks for all your support through the process of organising our Mortgage
